Hotel Baia Azzurra is a small but perfectly formed and in the best location for picture perfect views from the balcony of the bay of taormina mazzarò. The hotel is very clean and well looked after by all the helpful and friendly staff. The room we had (203) was perfect for what we needed it had coffee and tea making facilities a hair dryer and a mini fridge also a small safe. There are 2 small mini markets right next door and a pizzeria across the street. The beach is a few steps down from the hotel. The cable car, bus stop and steps to the town centre are right next door to the hotel this makes it very easy to get into taormina town. We stayed a week and got everywhere we wanted from the bus stop right outside the hotel. But you must try the cable car the views are amazing. We did walk down the steps and I'm glad we did this is also very scenic. We would definitely stay at Baia Azzurra again x

Por qué nadie habla de las 🐓🐓 que lloran a las 6 para despertarte!!! Nos tocó una habitación en la primera planta. Daba a la pared muy sucia. Mucha humedad…y cucarachas en el baño. Menos mal que solo me quedé solo un día. El parking está detrás del hotel y muy dificil encontrar.

Stunning views. Very clean rooms. Great selection of food at breakfast. Reception helpful and friendly. Location was great for the beaches and cable car to town. Only downside really was the noise from the traffic and neighbouring animals but the 5 star hotels opposite would have the same issues too.

La posizione é il punto a favore ed il punto critico. A favore perché è sulla baia, a due passi dal mare e due passi dalla funivia che porta a Taormina alta. Avevo la camera con vista sul mare ed era una cartolina, bellissima! La posizione è anche il punto critico perché davanti all’hotel c’è una strada trafficata ed i binari del treno (passano più treni di quanto possa pensare). Insomma c’è parecchio rumore ma gli infissi non sono insonorizzati. Nemmeno la porta di ingresso della camera è insonorizzata. Per cui o sei sordo, o hai perennemente i tappi oppure sarai destinato a dormire poche ore per notte. Pulizia e colazione appena sufficienti. La cenare aveva necessità di una sistemata (muri con umidità). Concludendo non lo consiglierei.

Reasonably priced hotel at a perfect location. Loved our stay here and will definitely consider it again if visiting Taormina. We stayed for one night for our visit to Taormina and this hotel was well above expectations. The location is great being right next to the lift to Taormina and just a few minutes walk to the beach. We had comfortable May weather, so we walked up the stairs to Taormina instead of the lift, which we recommend for the views and exercise. We got the sea view terrace apartment when we expected to have a room with no view. The room was clean and usable, but nothing too fancy. Worked perfectly for us two. We arrived early, so we also managed to park our car at their only free parking spot, at the recommendation of the receptionist. They also offer paid parking, but I am not sure where and for what price. Otherwise it is also super close to the parking lot for the lift to Taormina which is where we parked first. Breakfast was good with a reasonable amount of options and you could take it to the shared terrace to enjoy it in the sun. The train runs close-by which some reviews mentioned was terrible, but I had 0 issues with it. Was more cozy than annoying.

Great hotel and very kind reception lady Pamela! Managed to park in the only free parking that hotel owned. Room direct to the sea view with a big terrace. Breakfast is adequate but the delicate is great taste!
