Me and my family recently stayed at this hotel for a 7 night holiday (15th - 22nd July) and what a fantastic hotel it is. The service is incredible and every member of staff makes you feel special and well looked after. We arrived late due to flight delays and even after the restaurant service had finished is was no trouble for them to provide us with a small meal on our arrival. It didn’t stop with that either every aspect of the service provided is done so with a smile and professionalism. The hotel facilities are great too. The rooms are spacious and modern and the lobby, pool and bar area are clean tidy and well looked after. The food at the hotel and the sister hotel across the road was great also. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice and fresh every day. The dinner service is also nice too if you’re half or full board. The location of the hotel is perfect too. A short walk to shopping and bars. A slightly further walk to the beach but not excessive. It’s also really handy for the bus routes for exploring further afield. There really is something for everyone in the area. And it was made even better by our stay at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel with out a doubt and we will return one day.

Excellent service level from all staff. We went half board with breakfast and à la carte dinner. This was a great option as the food was 5 stars every day. Access to new gym in the complex. A real gym, fully kitted out, not your normal hotel exercise room. Comfortable rooms with all necessary amenities. Nearby super market for essential water and snacks. Walking distance to beach.

We went with our 4 month old baby. Room was amazing. Very spacious and clean as well as beds being comfy. Everyone was so great with our baby boy and made him feel very comfortable. All staff made an effort at interacting with him. Would definitely stay here again and was great place to have our first family holiday with the wee one.

What a delightful hotel! Me and my partner stayed here for a week and it was pretty much perfect. The room was spacious and was cleaned every day, the pool was beautiful, clean and quiet. The breakfast was lovely with options of a continental breakfast and hot food cooked in front of you. We were half board so we also had dinner, which was somewhat slightly confusing to understand at first, but gorgeous. The only negative was that it is classed as an adults only hotel but there were a couple of families with children that were sometimes slightly noisy around the pool. But that isn’t the hotels fault. Finally, the service at the hotel is fantastic, after a delayed flight we arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm and missed our half board dinner option. We were offered a of dinner which was just a perfect welcome to the hotel and an example of the fantastic service!

Wat een heerlijk hotel! We hebben hier een weekje doorgebracht (eind mei 2026), zeer mooie en nette kamers, goed ontbijt met live cooking, alles perfect onderhouden, heerlijk zwembad met whirlpools, en een fijn dakterras. We hadden halfpension en voor het avondeten was er de keuze om a la carte in rondo te eten (ook heerlijk) of gebruik te maken van het buffet bij het naastgelegen hotel miraflor. Wij komen hier zeker weer terug.

Genuinely impressive renovation — great value even in peak season We stayed at HL Rondo on a half board package booked through a German reseller and were pleasantly surprised at every turn. The hotel has clearly undergone a thorough, high-quality renovation — it's not just a fresh coat of paint, everything feels genuinely new and well thought out. Spacious rooms, modern design, spotlessly clean. The staff deserve a special mention. Friendly, helpful and professional without being intrusive — exactly what you want on holiday. Every interaction, from reception to the restaurant, felt warm and attentive. We also had free access to the Stark Fitness gym located directly in the hotel, which is genuinely impressive with the new equipment and finish sauna in the cloak room. The value for money was outstanding, especially considering we visited during peak season. Half board was well worth it. One thing to keep in mind: the hotel is located right in the heart of Playa del Inglés, so some daytime noise from the surrounding area — including the neighbouring hotel's pool — is to be expected. It didn't spoil our stay, but it's worth knowing if you're looking for total peace and quiet. We're already looking forward to the new restaurant once it opens. Highly recommended — we'll be back.
