I wanted to spend a few days in Barcelona and came across this hotel. The location is excellent, as you can get to the city center quite quickly if you want to visit restaurants or go shopping. For me, the location was perfect because I also enjoy exploring a city on foot. Walking along the seafront to the beach is a great experience. The room itself was perfectly fine. It wasn’t anything special, but it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It wasn’t exceptionally clean, but it certainly wasn’t dirty either. You can hear other guests while walking through the hallways, but once inside the room, we didn’t notice any noise. The only downside for me was the price. Considering the season and what we paid, I’ve stayed in more modern and better hotels for a similar price. That said, if you can get a good rate, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a solid choice, and you really can’t go wrong with it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. The hotel was spotless, and my room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Housekeeping came every day and did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made the room especially comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic, with easy access to everything I wanted to see and do. I also appreciated all the thoughtful amenities. The complimentary bottled water and drinks in the room were a nice touch and made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Great service, excellent cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location. I would gladly stay here again!

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet the standard we expect from a 4-star hotel. The issues started already at check-in. Although we used the priority check-in desk, other desks were served before us and we ended up being checked in last, which made the priority service feel rather ineffective. The location is good and the staff was generally friendly. However, the condition of our room (462) was disappointing. During our stay we found cracked bathroom tiles, a heavily calcified shower head, a curtain with visible holes, and several signs of wear and damage throughout the room. Most concerning, we found two silverfish in the room – one in the bathroom and another underneath the bed. All issues were documented with photographs and reported to the hotel. Considering the room rate of more than €1,250 for six nights, the overall experience and the condition of the room did not reflect the quality one would expect from the INNSiDE by Meliá brand. A more consistent maintenance, quality-control and guest-service process would significantly improve the experience. Update: the hotel was cooperative and compensated.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Barcelona Apolo. One of the biggest reasons I chose this hotel was its proximity to the cruise port, and it couldn’t have been more convenient—just a quick 5-minute cab ride away. The location is excellent, with easy access to many of Barcelona’s attractions, restaurants, and neighborhoods. The rooms are modern, beautiful, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring the city. One feature I absolutely loved was the complimentary bike rentals. It’s such a great way to experience Barcelona and explore areas you might otherwise miss. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, always happy to help with anything I needed. For anyone mixing business with leisure, the hotel offers private office spaces that are perfect for getting some last-minute work done in a quiet environment. The restaurant is beautiful as well, and if the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying a meal or drink. Overall, this hotel offers a fantastic combination of convenience, comfort, and thoughtful amenities. Whether you’re staying before a cruise or simply exploring Barcelona, I would absolutely recommend it.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel. We absolutely loved the atmosphere—it was warm, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist with anything we needed, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options to start the day. We also loved the location, as it was close to everything we wanted to see and allowed us to enjoy walking around the area and exploring at our own pace. One of our favorite parts was being able to relax in the lobby after a long day. It was a comfortable and inviting space to sit, unwind, and spend time together. Overall, the combination of the great atmosphere, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, and convenient location made this a memorable stay for our family. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others! 😊

i recommend. Literally, the best place we have stayed in any of the countries we have visited in Europe. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff were all responsive and friendly and they treated us like family. Location is perfect, it is like Barcelona revolves around it because we walked to everything or took quick can rides. Great, large rooms, large, big windows, lots of ventilation, very clean. Obviously, we were impressed and plan to return. Special thanks to one of the front desk staff who super-extended themselves for us, her name is Sandra. And to the very friendly and knowledgeable gentlemen at the front door entrance who gave us directions and encouragement. Yes, I recommend this hotel!
