Elegimos el Meliá Torre Melina porque queríamos disfrutar de Beso Beach al día siguiente y, por ubicación, nos pareció la mejor opción. Lamentablemente, la experiencia no estuvo a la altura de lo que esperábamos de un hotel de cinco estrellas. Lo que más nos decepcionó fue la atención recibida desde la llegada. Tanto el personal de acceso como el de recepción fueron muy fríos, sin apenas explicaciones ni interés por hacernos sentir bienvenidos. Tuvimos que preguntar absolutamente todo: parking, ascensores, horarios… y nadie nos explicó las instalaciones del hotel ni servicios como RedLevel. La habitación asignada era una Suite Superior adaptada para personas con movilidad reducida. Entiendo perfectamente que existan este tipo de habitaciones, pero considero que no deberían asignarse salvo que se soliciten o sean necesarias, especialmente para una escapada de pareja, ya que el ambiente dista mucho de lo que uno espera al reservar una suite. Quiero destacar especialmente al camarero del restaurante de la piscina, que fue quien realmente nos explicó el funcionamiento del hotel, las instalaciones y las opciones disponibles. Un profesional excelente y, sin duda, lo mejor de nuestra estancia. También el personal de Beso Beach nos pareció fantástico. En cuanto a las instalaciones, tienen potencial, pero encontramos la zona de hamacas bastante desordenada y, además, tuvimos que soportar a unos huéspedes fumando marihuana junto a nosotros sin que nadie interviniera. El desayuno también nos decepcionó: poca variedad para un hotel de esta categoría y fruta con olor a agrio. En general, es un hotel con buenas instalaciones, pero le falta calidez y un servicio mucho más orientado al cliente. Somos habituales de hoteles Hyatt y, tras esta experiencia, no creemos que repitamos.

⭐ Outstanding Service at Torre Melina – Cristian Made Our Stay Truly Special We stayed in a RedLevel room at Torre Melina Gran Meliá from 19–22 February 2026, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As seasoned travellers, we travel frequently and this was one of our most memorable hotel stays. A special thank you must go to Cristian Varela Martins (Front Office Agent), who truly made our stay memorable. After I emailed the hotel before arrival with a few questions, Cristian responded and was incredibly attentive. His recommendation to upgrade to RedLevel was absolutely worth it. When we arrived, we were welcomed with a birthday cake, chilled cava and a handwritten note in our room, as I was celebrating both my birthday and the anniversary of my “ringing-the-bell” milestone. On our final evening we were surprised again with tapas, cakes and cava with a farewell note, which was a wonderful and thoughtful touch. The RedLevel experience was fantastic – a beautiful room, lounge access with cava, wines, beers (including alcohol-free options), soft drinks and snacks available throughout the day. The staff in the lounge were always attentive and welcoming, and Margarita from the RedLevel team was particularly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with great coffee, eggs cooked to order and a wide selection of fresh fruit and pastries. Cristian and the concierge team also helped us arrange tickets for Sagrada Família and secured us a rooftop table at the sister ME Barcelona hotel, with incredible views of the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless and professionally run, and the service throughout was outstanding. Our only small suggestion would be that the spa could benefit from a jacuzzi, particularly during the winter months when the outdoor facilities are closed. We are already looking forward to returning, hopefully soon, to watch a match at Camp Nou and enjoy the hotel’s summer amenities.

Tout était parfait , nous étions même étonnés des commentaires négatifs . Famille de 4 , les infrastructures sont faites pour que parents et enfants y trouvent leur espace . Le seul petit bémol était le service au rooftop, froid et tellement pressé de débarrasser , mais ça n a pas gâché notre séjour . Le reste du personnel a été souriant , bienveillant , à l’écoute , un grand merci à Andres , au personnel du petit déjeuner et celui du red level . Nous appréhendions l’emplacement mais c est sans hésitation que nous reviendrons . A l’année prochaine et encore merci !!

Una estancia absolutamente perfecta. El Torre Melina Gran Meliá ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. Es un hotel espectacular, con jardines y espacios comunes enormes, preciosos y diferentes a cualquier otro hotel de Barcelona. Se respira tranquilidad, exclusividad y un cuidado excepcional por los detalles. Lo mejor de todo es el equipo humano: un personal muy profesional, cercano y pendiente de que la experiencia sea perfecta en todo momento. Sin duda, el mejor hotel de toda Barcelona y un lugar al que siempre apetece volver.

We had such a wonderful stay! The hotel made my husband’s birthday truly special by upgrading us to an amazing room and surprising him with a bottle of Cava and the most delicious chocolate cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel genuinely welcomed. We were traveling with our baby daughter, and everything was incredibly comfortable. The hotel provided a baby crib for her, which made our stay so much easier. We loved spending time by the pool, and the botanical garden was the perfect peaceful spot to relax in the shade. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—one of the best we’ve had, with a fantastic selection and excellent quality. We also ordered room service for dinner, and everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to celebrate, and my husband’s birthday couldn’t have gone better. The rooftop is absolutely beautiful as well! Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to enjoy it in the evening, but that’s actually one more reason for us to come back. We’ll definitely return! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

Not a 10 minute walk to camp Nou stadium with kids/babies especially in the summer do not walk this. If you’re planning to stay for camp nou try a different location if you have kids or plan to pay for taxis to go places. Staff don’t have good knowledge on Barcelona (suggestions for trendy/iconic places to go to or baby friendly places to visit) Got told to go Cortes ingles for shopping. Went there and was a nightmare, not baby friendly, toilets were disgusting and wasted so much time waiting for lifts and not luxury/standard at all. Also for red level unnecessary check in process, a lot of small talk and just sitting in an uncomfortable chair. Also during check in, staff were rude to other guests who came to ask questions , fortunately they were kind and smiling with us our whole stay but not a good impression. Superior rooms are not superior. Small in fact. Had to change rooms because with a baby cot you couldnt even walk next to the bed, use the desk or do anything. Also looks nothing like pictures which make it look spacious than what it is in reality. One waiter was absolutely lovely 5 stars to her, her attention to detail was amazing she should be managing staff tbh, she actually cares about guests.
