A Wonderful Family Holiday in Crete We had a wonderful stay at Grecotel Marine Palace & Aqua Park and would highly recommend it, especially to families with children. The hotel is beautifully located in a peaceful bay, surrounded by lovely scenery and within walking distance of the charming village of Panormos. The beach is pleasant and easily accessible, and the resort offers beautiful sea views and a relaxing atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights is the incredible variety of activities for children. The aqua park, multiple swimming pools, kids’ club, playgrounds, mini disco and evening entertainment kept our child happy and entertained throughout the holiday. There is always something fun to do, making the hotel an excellent choice for a family vacation. The staff were exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. From the reception and restaurant teams to the entertainment staff, everyone welcomed us with a smile and made us feel genuinely cared for. We also enjoyed the wide variety of food available. There were plenty of choices for both adults and children, with different dishes, fresh salads, local Greek specialities, desserts and snacks throughout the day. Having several restaurants and dining options made the all-inclusive experience even more enjoyable. The resort itself feels like a beautiful little Cretan village, with attractive buildings, gardens and many different areas to explore. Despite offering so many activities, it still has a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and created many beautiful memories here. A wonderful combination of a great location, excellent facilities for children, delicious food, cleanliness and genuinely welcoming staff ( Especially Anastasia the waitress). We would happily return!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Marine Palace! Die erste Überraschung war das Zimmer, wir hatten um Kosten zu sparen, Gartenblick gebucht. Bekommen haben wir ein zentral gelegenes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Dachgarten UND dem dahinter glitzernden Meer. Das Zimmer, sowie die gesamte Anlage war sehr sauber. Das Personal war uneingeschränkt freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Pools waren gepflegt und in der Regel waren auch immer noch Liegen frei. Das Essen war stets frisch und abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Den dazugehörigen Aqua-Park haben wir insgesamt an vier Tagen unseres 10tägigen Aufenthalts genutzt und hatten großen Spaß dabei. Die Kinderbetreuung im TUI Kids-Club war abwechslungsreich und liebevoll. Die abendlichen Shows waren allesamt professionell und beeindruckend. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub und es gab einfach nichts zu meckern. (Nachtrag unserer Kinder: Lediglich der Umstand, dass es nur morgens frisch gebackene Pancakes gab und es nicht bereits zum Frühstück Spaghetti Bolognese gab, ist zu bemängeln. 😄😉)

Great location!! The staff was absolutely accommodating, kind, helpful and flexible. Nadia and Simons (I hope I wrote their names correctly) from main restaurant were amazing and helped with every request. Worth mentioning also Nikoleta and Anastasija. Animation staff was fun! Water Zumba and kids activities. The room was after renovation, clean, pleasant and quit. The only thing I would improve is the food in main restaurant- not enough variety in terms of protein and the fish dishes were not good :( Kids loved the pools!! They were clean and in perfect temp. The hotel was full but didn’t feel crowded. The musical show on Sunday was super fun and professional. Great value for money!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The sea, the beach, the easy access to the water, the food, and the entertainment for families with children were all excellent. Everything is conveniently located within a compact area, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly and courteous. We would especially like to thank Kristina from the reception desk for all her help. She was incredibly kind and professional. Thank you so much!

I would like to update my previous feedback because the hotel management reacted very quickly and professionally. After my comment, the administration contacted us, apologized, and immediately solved all the issues we mentioned. Everything we asked for was provided, and I really appreciate how seriously they took our feedback. It shows that there is a team behind the hotel that truly cares about guests’ comfort. The resort itself is beautiful — the territory is very well maintained, green, clean, and pleasant to walk around. The staff is wonderful: housekeeping, waiters, bartenders, and all the employees we met were very kind and helpful. The food is also a big highlight. There are several restaurants in the hotel, and the à la carte dining experience was excellent — with a more refined, high-quality restaurant atmosphere. Everything we tried was very tasty. Overall, I am very satisfied with how the situation was handled. The hotel showed that they listen to their guests and are willing to improve. Thank you to the team for taking care of us and making our stay enjoyable.

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das gesamte Servicepersonal war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und immer zuvorkommend. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die gesamte Anlage und der Aqua Park waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, sodass man sich jederzeit wohlfühlen konnte. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Herzlichkeit und Professionalität aller Mitarbeitenden – egal ob an der Rezeption, im Restaurant oder im Servicebereich. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass es sich wirklich um einen reinen Kids Club beziehungsweise ein sehr familienorientiertes Hotel handelt. Dementsprechend ist es lebhaft, laut und es ist immer viel los. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das absolut perfekt und genau das Richtige. Paare ohne Kinder sollten sich vorher bewusst machen, dass man diese Atmosphäre mögen muss. Wer Unterhaltung, Trubel und eine lebendige Umgebung schätzt, wird sich sicherlich wohlfühlen. Wer hingegen Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Entspannung sucht, für den ist dieses Hotel eher weniger geeignet. Wir persönlich hatten nichts zu bemängeln und bedanken uns für die schöne Zeit.
