Beautiful view, great location, but terrible management. You can't use the rooftop bar any evening because it's constantly being used for celebrations under the guise of private events. You go on your first day, they say "sorry, we can't accommodate you today, we'll see you tomorrow," you go the next day, it's the same thing again. The hotel's advertisements feature a sunset photo from the rooftop bar, but only those attending the private events can see it. It's as if we're staying at the hotel for free.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was deeply disappointing and far below what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. I specifically chose this property for the swimming pool, which was advertised as a key feature. Upon arrival, I discovered it was closed, with no prior notice on the website. This alone significantly impacted my stay. Additionally, the hotel’s website did not clearly state that breakfast was not included. This lack of transparency felt misleading. The gym was also not as shown in the photos — instead of a proper fitness facility, it was just a small, poorly equipped room. Overall, the hotel does not match its online presentation. Key services were either unavailable or misrepresented, which is unacceptable at this price point and rating. I would not recommend this hotel unless they significantly improve transparency and align their services with what is advertised.

Ni de lejos es un 5 estrellas. Nos dieron la habitación doble que resultó ser una suite reformada en dos habitaciones, en ja que apenas podías moverte. Reclamamos y nos trasladaron a otra un poco más grande. La ventana daba a un patio interior con todas las máquinas de aire acondicionado , lavadoras, etc. no podías abrir para nada por el ruido y el aire tóxico de las máquinas. Imposible dormir porque lavadoras calefacción estaba altísima, un calor horrible y no se podía quitar, y como podías abrir la ventana, un horror. Reforma, cutre, de hotel malo. La recepción engaña, pues usar un poco más cuidada.estuvimos 5 días y no nos cambiaron las sabanas ningún día, y ni siquiera barrían y fregaban el suelo. Reclamamos al tercer día que limpiasen y no vimos diferencia. El parking no es del hotel , es externo, y carísimo.

This hotel didn’t feel like a true five star hotel. The cleaning was so so, the rooms felt pretty out of date and the food we had for dinner was not great. In fact I didn’t finish my risotto or the Greek salad. The breakfast was good and the views from the restaurant was beautiful. The AC was quiet and perfect in a hot day.

Update, In response to the hotels response: I can assure you I was not impressed with your front of house team, they were mainly rude. Only the bell-hop Lefteris was impressive. The rest of the staff was rude and did not speak English like they claimed too. Rooms started smelling after I checked in, so bad the staff didn’t want to enter my room and moved me instead. Your response seems like you guys care but you don’t. The quality of the hotel is definitely not 5 star. The rooms are definitely old and barely remodeled. There are bugs that come out of the drains in all the rooms I had. It’s disgusting. The showers have fixtures from what looks like alibaba. Please do not disrespect by claiming you guys have remodeling scheduled. That is a joke. Please improve yourselves with something other than a social media or pr team. You guys are not a 5 star and I regret staying there. I was told the owner lives on premises and that it a small family run hotel, which makes this all the more painful to right. I tend to support boutique hotels and small family businesses. I spent a total of about 10,000 usd there one 3 rooms for 4 nights. All were on the same floor, the 3rd floor. They charged me a high floor room fee, for only one room, and not for the others. Not sure why, especially after the smell. You guys should definitely waived that charge. It was 150€ that you Nickel and dimed me for after the exorbitant amount of money I payed to stay there. For reference their rooms are half as equipped and sized as the King George Hotel down the street. To anyone reading this, please stay there instead. The view is absolutely not worth it, you can see it from the monastery located on the hill as well for free. To the hotel staff and team in charge of customer relations. I have proof in picture and video form if you’d like to see it in the name of improving your “5-star” hotel. I’m currently at a 5-star hotel for half the price for reference, I travel pretty often. I spend 6 months on the road out of the year. I know what a 5 star looks like, you guys are 3 star at best. Please don’t reply to this review trying to redeem yourselves and change my words to try to make me seem like someone who is mad from one small bad experience. Truly a terrible experience at an exorbitant price point. ——————————— below this is my original review. This hotels reviews are deceiving. Rooms smell horrible, and they are over priced. Over promised under delivered. It is very old and not remodeled. Pictures are probably equally old. They will charge you hidden fees. Beware. Management will be rude, they don’t speak English very well, even tho they claim to! The bell-hops are the only people worth a thing in the entire hotel, I wish I could add a star for them alone, but, it’s not likely.

We visited the roof garden for coffee and were initially seated at a perfectly suitable table. The moment they realised that one of our party uses a wheelchair, the attitude changed completely. We were asked to relocate to a remote, isolated section of the terrace — despite the venue being nearly empty. We politely asked if we could stay explaining that the elderly person on the wheelchair rarely goes out the house and really enjoys being around people. They then became aggressive saying that all tables were fully booked, which was plainly untrue. When we requested to speak with a manager, a series of seemingly random staff members appeared — none of whom were able or willing to take responsibility. No manager ever came. This is straightforward discrimination against a person with a disability. There is no other way to describe it. The initial welcome made the subsequent treatment all the more jarring. We will not be returning, and we would encourage anyone travelling with a wheelchair user to be aware of what to expect here.
