Avoid like the literal plague (bed bugs). It was dirty and poorly cleaned (we checked carefully after finding the first live bed bug). They were lovely on the night in helping us find elsewhere to move to (with an 87 year old, we declined to move within the hotel when all offered rooms were also dirty -- annoying as this meant hours in the lobby after a long day of travel with that 87 year old till finally after 2am we have elsewhere to go, but bed bugs are no joke). What made me write this review though was that two days later management asked to speak to us (further interrupting our short holiday) so they could call us liars and that our photos were fake, shrugging when we pointed out the phone puts location, date and time on photos.

Otele ilk giriş anımızdan itibaren bizimle ilgilenen tüm arkadaşlara öncelikle çok teşekkür ederiz. Otelin konumu gerçekten harika; tramvay durağı neredeyse 100 adım mesafede. Ayasofya, Sultanahmet Camii, Topkapı Sarayı, Yerebatan Sarnıcı, Arkeoloji Müzesi ve daha birçok tarihi yere yürüyerek 5-10 dakika içinde ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Özellikle Elif Hanım’a ilgisi ve güler yüzü için ayrıca teşekkür etmek isteriz. Kahvaltıdaki çeşitlilik ve lezzetler de oldukça başarılıydı. Tekrardan emeği geçen herkese teşekkür ederiz. Un dès meilleurs hôtels d'Istanbul. Le personnel est très professionnel et à l'écoute des clients. L'hôtel est proche de tout lieu touristique et des transports en commun. Le déjeuner est quasi un des meilleurs d'Istanbul. La propreté de l'hôtel est un de ces atouts. On se sens comme chez sois. Merci Yasmak Sultan

A truly wonderful experience at this hotel, it’s in an incredible location part of the old city. It’s a beautiful, family-run hotel that feels warm and welcoming, while still being spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Our Room was clean, beds were comfy and loads of hot water. The restaurant is outstanding! The food was amazing, lovely attentive professional staff, with breathtaking views over the city daytime and evening. Breakfast was exceptional; huge buffet offering fresh fruit, cereals, meats, cheeses, hot and cold options, patisserie, great coffee.. Overall, an unforgettable stay and easily one of the nicest hotel experiences I’ve had. I know you can find bigger and more luxury hotels but never beat the atmosphere here, it’s much nicer. Highly recommended.

İstanbul’a yaptığımız seyahatte Yaşmak Sultan Hotel’de konakladık ve gerçekten çok memnun kaldık. Öncelikle konumu muhteşem, Sultanahmet’te gezmek istediğimiz her yere neredeyse yürüyerek ulaşabildik. Özellikle İstanbul’u ilk kez ziyaret edenler için konum açısından büyük bir avantaj. Otelin çalışanları çok ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Bir ihtiyacımız olduğunda her seferinde yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar ve kendimizi oldukça rahat hissettik. Odalar temiz ve düzenliydi, kahvaltı da ürünler çok çeşitli ,taze ve gayet lezzetliydi. Tarihi yarımadanın tam merkezinde, hem rahat hem de sıcak bir ortamda konaklamak isteyenlere gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. İstanbul’a tekrar geldiğimizde tercih edebileceğimiz otellerden biri olacak. Tüm ekibe teşekkürler, güzel bir konaklama deneyimi yaşattınız. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for five nights and we really enjoyed everything. The location is perfect, right in the city centre and very convenient for visiting the city. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was always very kind and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, with a very rich buffet and a huge variety of food, from sweet to savoury. There was really everything you could want! We loved our stay here and we highly recommend this hotel!
