THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL. Disgusting, dirty place. Rooms are absolutely gross. Mold in bathrooms. Dirt and grime crusted on floors. Towels are paper thin and smelly. Most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. And to top it off, rude and sarcastic staff that refuses to help. We booked for 3 nights and left after a few hours because we could not bear to stay another minute.

Stayed at this hotel a few days ago on my first trip to Istanbul and had a great experience with my family. The room had an amazing view of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The location is very convenient, close to major tourist spots, the tram station, and plenty of food options nearby. The staff were super helpful. Special thanks to Yasin and Emir for helping us a lot with travel guidance and support around Istanbul and even assisting with our last-minute trip to Bursa. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul for tourism.

Nous sommes sincèrement très content de notre séjour a l’hôtel arcadia,nous témoignons de acceuil,de l’attention du personnel en réception ou en restauration pour le breakfast au rooftop avec une vue magistrale sur la baie du bosphor et les mosquées avoisinantes.Nous tenons mon épouse et moi a remercier tout le personnel.une note amicale pour la femme de chambre. Nous reviendrons certainement aux prochaines vacances avec grand plaisir pour vous revoir.

I know this hotel deserves a 5/5 review, I've seen that it meets all requirements... but even though it kills me to do so, I have to take a star off. When booking, no announcement was made anywhere about the ongoing renovations. I paid for the full experience, but only had access to the room and the breakfast while the spa section (turkish bath, massage, sauna and gym) was completely unavailable. Add the drill and hammer noises early in the morning waking us up. The booking agency contacted the hotel management to refund a part of the price of our stay but they refused. When I went down at the desk to complain about the situation, the guys there were just amazing. They also contacted the management (unfortunately with no avail) and tried their best to find solutions even though they couldn't do anything. In the end, this lead to having great conversations with the staff and spending amazing time with them sharing our cultural differences. Great people, really. And that's precisely why I don't want to put less than 4 stars: I'm rating the hotel here, not the management. Thank you guys for your time, for the rich conversations we had. From check-in to check-out, this place exceeded expectations — wonderful hospitality, beautiful rooms, breathtaking views. Breakfast was NOT buffet-style, but that made it better: fresh, personalized, no waste. And two staff members made the stay special. Mr. Yasin was attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our whole stay. Emir was warm and curious, and pointed us to some great local spots to eat. Only one thing could’ve made it perfect: a modern smart TV to unwind with after long days exploring — the current one felt a bit dated next to everything else. Still, I’d come back without hesitation. Highly recommend. Thank you Mr. Yasin and Mr. Emir 🙏

Our stay at the Arcadia Blue Hotel was overall pleasant, particularly thanks to its remarkable location and beautiful views over the historic heart of Istanbul. The atmosphere of the city, combined with the excellent weather during our visit, made for a memorable experience. However, one aspect of our stay was rather disappointing. On a beautiful morning with ideal conditions — calm, sunny, and perfectly comfortable — we politely asked whether breakfast could be enjoyed outside. Unfortunately, the request was met with visible irritation from the staff and was refused without much flexibility or hospitality. As a result, guests were required to dine indoors behind heavy curtains, which significantly diminished the enjoyment of the stunning panoramic views that are one of the hotel’s greatest assets. It felt like a missed opportunity to fully appreciate the exceptional setting the hotel is fortunate to offer. We understand that operational policies may exist, yet a more accommodating and gracious approach would have greatly enhanced the guest experience. With a warmer attitude toward reasonable requests, this hotel could truly elevate itself to the standard its location deserves.
