Very disappointing experience. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel; in our opinion, the experience is closer to that of a 2- or 3-star hotel at best. We booked a triple room through Booking that was supposedly equipped with a double bed and an additional bed. However, the supposed extra bed was actually a very hard sofa that had nothing to do with a proper bed. When we asked the hotel about it, we were told that there were no other rooms available, so we had no choice but to accept it. However, the worst part happened the following morning. When we left our room, we found a huge pile of feces right outside our door in the hallway, which we almost stepped on. What was most surprising was that cleaning staff were working in the hallway at the time and had not even noticed it. We had to alert the cleaner ourselves so that it could be removed. They did remove it, but without properly cleaning the area, leaving a very unpleasant smell throughout the entire floor. When we went to reception to complain, the response was even more disappointing. We were told that the feces had come from a cat and that this kind of situation was “normal in Istanbul” because there are many stray cats and, according to the hotel, it happens frequently on the premises. Most seriously, they did not offer to change our room or provide any real solution or compensation, apart from allowing us to check out until 2:00 p.m. We find it completely unacceptable for something like this to happen in a property advertised as a 5-star hotel and, above all, for the hotel to treat it as something normal instead of taking responsibility and offering the guest a solution. Honestly, if it were not for the excellent location, we would not recommend this hotel at all. The experience is far from what one would expect from a 5-star hotel and, in our opinion, it does not meet the level of quality and hygiene that an establishment of this category should provide. We recommend choosing another hotel.

Sultanahmet Camisinin yanında, tramvaya sadece 2 dakika mesafede gerçekten çok güzel bir hotel. Konumu zaten başlı başına büyük bir avantaj. İstanbul'u gezmek isteyenler için her yere ulaşım çok kolay. Sultanahmet, Ayasofya, Topkapı Sarayı ve çevredeki birçok tarihi yere yürüyerek rahatlıkla gidilebiliyor. Fatih'te konaklamak isteyenler için hem merkezi hem de güvenli bir tercih olduğunu düşünüyorum. Çalışanlar gerçekten çok temiz, nazik ve özenle seçilmiş kişiler. Otele giriş yaptığımız ilk andan itibaren güler yüzlü bir şekilde karşıladılar. Her konuda yardımcı oldular, sorduğumuz sorulara sabırla cevap verdiler, görüş ve düşüncelerimizi dinleyip gerekli bilgilendirmeleri yaptılar. Kendinizi müşteri gibi değil de misafir gibi hissettiriyorlar. Bu da insanın otele bakışını tamamen değiştiriyor. Odalar oldukça temiz ve düzenliydi. Temizlik konusunda hiçbir eksik görmedim. Manzarası da gerçekten çok güzeldi. Özellikle sabah uyanınca manzaraya karşı kahve içmek ayrı bir keyif verdi. Ayrıca havuzu da beklediğimden çok daha güzeldi ve oldukça temizdi. Günün yorgunluğunu atmak için güzel bir imkan sunuyor. Kahvaltı konusunda ise gerçekten muhteşem bir hotel. Çeşit oldukça fazla, ürünler taze ve lezzetliydi. Her damak tadına uygun seçenekler vardı. Kahvaltısını özellikle çok beğendim. Bence 2000-2500 TL verip ismini bile bilmediğimiz, güven vermeyen otel veya apartlarda kalacağıma üzerine çok az bir ücret daha ekleyip böyle kaliteli, güvenilir ve rahat bir yerde konaklamayı tercih ederim. Fiyatına göre sunduğu hizmet gerçekten çok başarılı. İstanbul Fatih'te konaklamayı düşünen herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. Tekrar gelirsem hiç düşünmeden yine burada kalırım. Çok memnun kaldım ve gerçekten çok beğendim.

Non lascio quasi mai recensioni, ma qui fare un’eccezione è quasi un dovere. 30 minuti di attesa al check-in, poi la sorpresa: hotel in overbooking e sistemazione in una “family room” condivisa. Perché evidentemente, nel mondo delle 5 stelle, anche la condivisione forzata è un servizio premium. In camera mancava persino il phon e, dopo diversi tentativi, solo verso mezzanotte sono riusciti nell’impresa di unire due letti singoli. Il resto ve lo lascio scoprire, sempre che abbiate voglia di giocare alla lotteria dell’hotel. Cinque stelle? Probabilmente sulla carta. Per il resto, un’esperienza che definire deludente sarebbe fin troppo generoso.

Good hotel in an amazing location. Customer service needs a bit of work. Please be aware that a lot of the rooms are in the basement. We were given a family room in the basement although we did not request one and there were no other rooms available so we had zero view and could hear water flowing every time other guests went to the toilet. We even paid extra to get a room with a view. I'd go back to the hotel but make certain to get a room with a view.

We stayed at Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel for 6 nights and had a lovely stay. Although we had an issue with our first room, the manager resolved it quickly by moving us, and after that everything was great. The staff were exceptional. A special thank you to Sultan for always dealing with any issues promptly, Warisha for her fantastic recommendations, tram directions and daily check-ins, and Mariam, Zakiriya and Sameeda for making breakfast such a pleasant experience. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of food, and the service was outstanding. The hotel is in a great location, with beautiful gardens, comfortable lobby areas and a lovely spa. The rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning, although I think the bathroom design could offer a little more privacy. Overall, the excellent customer service made our stay memorable, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.

Solo traveler. Upon arrival, l was upgraded to a family room. The additional space was fantastic. The terrace area adjacent to the dining area is a great place to relax. There is also a hookah cart that is managed throughout the day. Reza, the restaurant captain, provided fantastic service to me every single day, he was very attentive any time i was downstairs, and would be sure to greet me in the morning when I went down to breakfast. Breakfast was busy most days and they did a great job refilling the food as fast as they could. I got a negroni on my first day and Dominida remembered my drink order the following days. I ended up getting room service for a bottle of wine and Kadir, another captain, delivered it to my room, provided complimentary snacks and prepared the two glasses. Everyone working that i encountered was fantastic. On my last morning, the indoor breakfast area was very busy with limited seating - I opted to eat on the terrace - I received great service from Umut - he proactively made sure all of the other tables were clear and went above and beyond to make sure guests were taken care of. The lobby is photo worthy, many people enjoyed the pool area, and the location is very clean. This hotel is centrally located to any attraction you may want to see and is very walkable. I checked out on a Monday morning - Sultan at reception and their manager, Nader, helped me get a later check out time - despite the hotel being very busy. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for a memorable experience and fantastic service. *Apologies if any names are spelled incorrectly
