Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room is ok, small, but clean. Breakfasts are fine. The main problems was the location: 10 minutes from Dubai Mall, but in taxi. By feet - nothing is accessible. While showering be ready that water will be cold than hot and again. We didn’t have the internet in one of the days for the whole day which caused our troubles at work. Be prepared that extra charges will be taken because something was broken by you. We moved the weight scale when it exploded, we called a cleaning service and told them about it. However, when we checked out and they said that everything was fine we were about to enter our taxi when we were called back and forced to pay for the weight scale. Very unpleasant staff told us that they didn’t care about our problems with the internet, water, he didn’t care about the taxi which was waiting for us etc and for bad reviews as well. The taxi driver told us that we were the 4th people saying that Barceló charge people for anything. So I would advise you to choose another hotel with better service, location and the internet.

I recently stayed at Barcelo Business Bay and literally no service of any kind was available, room service, operator, pool bar cashier, even the valet parking attendant was not available. I had even called them via room line and to prevail no response. Finally I was able to get hold of duty manager and complained about the inadequate service and hung up on him as he didn’t even apologize. He called back and demanded I come downstairs and if I didn’t go he would come up to my room and pack my belongings and eject me from the premises without any refund. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED BY HIS REPONSE. He then came to my room denying all what he said and he claimed all hotels in Dubai was offering such bad hospitality which I refused to believe him as i have stayed in countless hotels in UAE over the last 14 years with the best hospitality services. Over 30 yrs of visiting hotels around the world, this was the first time such disrespect was shown to me. He even mistaken my name and said this was not his fault for the hotel computer wrongfully inputted my name and blabbing about how he speaks Russian which I don’t as I am an American. He even said he accessed my past hotel records in Dubai which I believe he infringed on my personal data via local residences card which he had claimed. Such behavior should not be tolerated and I will never stay at their hotel. I’m will be lodging a formal complaint to the Dubai Economic and Tourism Bureau for his action and his false statement and breaching private information without my consent. The hotel premises was beautiful and room was perfect and the food was really good but the negative behavior of one man has made my entire experience very bad and I will never forget it.

An Unforgettable First Stay in Dubai! I recently stayed at the Barceló and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Since this was my first time visiting Dubai, everything was new to me, but the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and supported. I arrived late around 11:30 PM, but Swapnil at the reception welcomed me with amazing energy and high spirits. I had an issue with "Salik" and asked him for help. He was more than happy to assist, even showing me exactly how to place the sticker on my car! What touched me even more was during check-out; he remembered and genuinely asked how it went with Salik. He truly cares about the guests and goes above and beyond, unlike those who just do the bare minimum. Also, a huge shoutout to the restaurant team! I had a special dietary request due to health reasons, asking to change a few things in the main dish. They accommodated my request perfectly with a positive attitude, without any extra charges. The level of communication, understanding, and cooperation at this hotel is unmatched—even for things outside their standard duties. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent stay at Barceló Residences Dubai Business Bay. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well organized. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with great amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. The location is also perfect, with easy access to many attractions and business areas in Dubai. A special thank you to Darlene and Emerald for their outstanding hospitality. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. Their willingness to assist with any request and their genuine care for guests made a lasting impression. It is team members like them who truly elevate the guest experience and make visitors feel valued and welcome. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, and the level of service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai, whether for business or leisure. I look forward to returning and experiencing the same excellent service again. Thank you, Darlene and Emerald, for making my stay memorable!

Had a great stay at Barceló Business Bay, Dubai. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and the overall experience was excellent. Special thanks to Jennifer and Shekhar for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They were very helpful, attentive, and made our stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended!
