JA The Resort - JA Lake View Hotel

We booked three rooms at JA Lake View Resort, so our experience reflects multiple rooms and not just a single isolated incident. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we've had, and it fell far below the standard expected from a 5-star resort. The room service was extremely poor. Despite contacting the front desk several times from our rooms, our requests were ignored or took an unreasonably long time to be addressed. The lack of responsiveness and follow-up made us feel that guest concerns were simply not a priority. The biggest disappointment was the drinking water provided in the rooms. Instead of complimentary sealed bottled water, the hotel provides reusable bottles filled with filtered tap water. The water had a very unpleasant taste, making it difficult to drink. After we complained, the staff collected the bottles but never brought replacements. We were then informed that if we wanted sealed bottled water, we had to purchase it for AED 25 per bottle. Charging guests extra for basic bottled drinking water after providing poor-quality water is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer a luxury experience. The service at one of the restaurants was equally disappointing. We politely asked the restaurant manager for disposable foam cups. He refused, saying they were not available, even though we had received the same cups from another staff member the previous day. Even more concerning, I personally witnessed the manager instructing his staff not to provide us with the cups if we requested them again. This behavior came across as unprofessional, unnecessary, and made us feel unwelcome as paying guests. Another frustrating policy is that food delivery drivers are not allowed to reach the hotel entrance. Guests are required to leave the resort and walk outside the property to collect their own deliveries. This is highly inconvenient and certainly not what guests expect from a premium resort. Although the property and facilities are attractive, they cannot make up for poor customer service, lack of responsiveness, inconsistent treatment of guests, and disappointing policies. Since we stayed in three different rooms, these issues clearly were not limited to a single room or a one-time mistake. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the standards of a 5-star hotel. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend JA Lake View Resort to anyone expecting quality service and genuine hospitality.

BIG REGRET STAYING HERE — NOT WORTH IT This star rating is only for Alfie from Concierge! (He assisted me with a buggy problem at a time the concierge was very busy) We stayed at JA Beach Resort last year, and after checking this hotel, I was genuinely interested in staying here in the future. Fast forward to this Eid holiday — I booked 2 nights for over AED 1,800 for 2 people. Here’s why this stay was disappointing: 1. AED 25 charge for every in-room dining order — this is the first time ever staying in a hotel where I’ve been charged extra just to order room dining! 2. We specifically booked a King Bed room but were initially given 2 single beds, so we had to go back down to reception to request another room — which ended up having a car park view. 3. Food deliveries are a BIG NO here. AED 90 for a chicken burger and AED 25 for ice cubes is just ridiculous. 4. The tissue boxes in the room were already half empty upon arrival. 5. Instead of a Barista making your coffee on the breakfast, you will get turned down to use the machine. 6. We used to enjoy the sports café nearby, but even their prices have gone up massively — AED 75 for a pint and fish n chips for 160. Clearly, this place just wants to bleed guests dry 💰💰💰 This is not a 5-star experience. The prices may be 5-star, but the service, facilities, and food definitely are not. It’s such a shame that management has allowed the property to become like this. There are far better 4-star hotels that deliver a much more deserving 5-star experience.

Celkově jsem byl velice spokojený s hotelovými službami i personálem. Velikou radost mi udělaly autobusové spoje z hotelu do centra města zdarma a zpět v různých časových intervalech! 👍 K hotelové pláži je možné se dostat mini autobusem každých 10 min.👍 Oceňuji vyhřívaný bazén a dostatečný počet lehátek se slunečníky! 👍 Za mě toto byla velice vydařená dovolená a ještě jednou všem děkuji 🙏😉

T’was our first time in JA Lakeview hotel as we upgraded from the JA hotel resort (where we usually stay) to the lakeview. We had a very enjoyable and so comfortable stay of the Lakeview hotel from the accommodating checkin staffs who booked us the first fllor with nice view at the pool but since we love the higher view instead, they easily change our room from first floor to the upper floor for our request without further questions, and to the variety of delicious food with fresh juices in kind at breakfast with the warm assistance of Reine and their cheerful and friendly chefs, until the checkout moment with Ms. Menchie and the concierge staffs, Rodney and Alfie. The spacious, clean, bright, cozy room are so comfy. I highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I had a one night stay in JA Lake View Hotel. It was our first time and it will not be the last. Everything is perfect. Amazing place with lots of things to do. The breakfast was delicious and lots of choices. Our two rooms were really comfortable. The resort is beautiful and huge and very good for family. The staff service were really outstanding. Thank you to Menchie who was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. She is ready to help with smile. We will be back very soon.

🌟 The Best Resort in the UAE! 🌟 Overall Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have visited almost every resort in the UAE, and I can confidently say that this is the absolute best one yet! We stayed here during the Eid holiday, and even though the resort was fully booked, the service was absolutely flawless. The staff are amazing—so incredibly welcoming everywhere you go, and they never let the holiday rush affect their high standards. My kids literally said this is the best place they’ve ever been. From today onwards, JA Resort is our absolute number one choice. We won't be going anywhere else. Thank you to the whole team for a perfect stay! Highly recommended!
