A Waldorf Astoria in name, unfortunately not in standard. Our fourth stay – and certainly our last. After three previously positive experiences, we recommended the hotel to friends and returned as six families. Unfortunately, all six left deeply disappointed. The food throughout our stay was unacceptable for a five-star hotel. The buffet was consistently poor in quality, preparation and taste; even the steakhouse fell well below expectations. The attached burger photo speaks for itself. Far more concerning was the condition of the live cooking station. Again, the photos speak for themselves. Management has since acknowledged in writing that the condition did not meet their own standards and that corrective action was necessary. I do want to recognize the people who looked after us very well: a big thank you to Abdou, Yaw, Rehman and Juneet at the pool, Hassan at valet, and the Kids Club team. Their hospitality was genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, this could not compensate for the overall experience. None of the six families intends to return. Our friends have already shared their experience within their own circles and advised others against staying here – and so have we. After four visits, this decline is remarkable. Five-star branding. Far from a five-star experience.

An incredible stay from start to finish. The pools are enormous, and there's also a dedicated adults-only pool, which was a fantastic addition. What stood out most, however, was the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, and you could feel it throughout the resort. I'm quite obsessed with customer service and often find myself disappointed, but this experience was on a completely different level. The service consistently exceeded expectations, and the team was proactive in every interaction. Anything you needed seemed to be taken care of before you even had to ask. The buffet food was surprisingly excellent, the spa and gym facilities were outstanding, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and featured beautiful private balconies. The pool bar was fantastic, and the cocktails were superb. The attention to detail was remarkable. They even returned our car from valet washed, with two cold bottles of water waiting for us for the drive back to Dubai. Simply amazing. We'll definitely be coming back.

My family took me to the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah for my birthday and it was truly one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated and special. They made it a birthday I will never forget. Most especially, two AMAZING team members at the buffet restaurant definitely stood out: Jaymar, our waiter during both breakfast and dinner, was an absolute gem. He took the time to learn what each of us liked and handled our many requests with such warmth and attentiveness. He was always checking in to make sure we were having a wonderful time, and you could genuinely tell he cared. Koko, the pasta bar chef, was also outstanding. I am not exaggerating when I say he made THE best pasta I have ever eaten in my entire life. My siblings and I are huge pasta lovers and we went back for bowl after bowl — it was that good! He also took the time to learn our preferences and orders, and his warmth and dedication are truly world-class. If you're celebrating something special, or even if you're not, the Waldorf Astoria RAK will make you feel like you are. Highly recommend!!!

This is truly been 5 star. Rooms are big and luxurious. All the staff member from room attendants to restaurant crew were simply amazing. We stayed for 3 weeks with our girl Jasmine and we loved it. Kids club- best kids club we found in UAE. Special thanks to kid club member - ROSHIELL she is the most special lady staff we have ever met. She is truly unique. We thank her and would love to come back. Restaurant- I loved the variation and quality of food in Restaurant ( half board) but it was delicious- coffee amazing. 3 weeks its a long time to stay in hotel but food was great quality. Even take out coffe cups, cold coffee- everything spot on. The managers and staff members incredibly friendly and chatty and helpful. Jasmine got a goodbye gift which was so unexpected but appreciated. This is the one hotel that you will miss and would like to come back.

We recently stayed at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah from 28-Feb to 1-Mar and overall had a fantastic experience. The property itself is stunning. The rooms are extremely spacious, impeccably clean, and feel very premium and well-maintained. You can really see the attention to detail. The pool being temperature-controlled made a big difference, and the beach was spotless and beautifully kept. Brilliant hospitality, the staff were professional, courteous, and consistently attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was superb with a wide variety and great quality across the board. The spa facilities were also excellent — spacious, calming, and very well managed. There are plenty of activities within the hotel as well, including live piano music, falcon experience, and even a traditional belly dancing class for guests, which really adds to the overall experience. There were just two minor areas for improvement. The omelettes at breakfast were slightly below the standard, and the AC in one of our rooms wasn’t functioning properly, which required a few follow-ups with housekeeping. That said, these were small issues in an otherwise excellent stay. We would definitely return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.
