The hotel cleanliness was excellent, and the entertainment team were jolly, bright, and approachable. They always made an effort to engage in conversation, which really added to the experience. A big shout-out to Chichi and Mimo in particular. The food was warm but never quite hot, which is somewhat understandable for a buffet setting. The drink package, however, was quite limited unless you upgraded to platinum. When you’ve already paid for all-inclusive, you do expect a bit more variety. That said, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is in a beautiful location with amazing sea views, which made the stay even more enjoyable. My only downside was an interaction with the porter. When we waiting to checkout, my partner noticed a spider on the welcome table and went to move it outside. Before he could do so, the porter came over quite abruptly, insisting the drinks were for newly arriving guests and directing him to the bar. My partner tried to explain he was just moving the spider, as it was climbing on one of the glasses, but the porter dismissed him.

We are still staying at Leonardo Cypria Bay on an all inclusive basis, and overall the experience has been very good. The room is perfectly fine, the hotel is clean and well maintained, and the service is good. For families with children, the hotel is a very good choice. The pools, facilities, and activities are enjoyable, and the children have plenty to do. The main weakness for us is the food. The food itself is tasty and there is a good variety, but many of the meat dishes include dairy products such as cream, cheese, or butter, even when it does not seem necessary. Allergens are clearly marked, which is helpful, but for guests who are allergic or sensitive to dairy, the available choices become quite limited. In our opinion, more dishes could easily be prepared without dairy and still maintain the same quality. Overall, this is a good, clean, and pleasant hotel, especially for families with children. With more dairy free food options our experience could be even better.

I am never writing a review But I am shocked to see the high score on booking and here - I don’t want more people to fall for this This hotel is TERRIBLE! It’s not even an hotel it’s more like a hostel The food is TERRIBLE The esthetic is non existent Everything is sticky, the food is not fresh at all, there is no management or anyone to talk to They didn’t even have carts to take the suitcases when arriving The kids club are only for 4 years old and they don’t even let kids under this age to go in, they don’t even allow parents to stay with the kids There is barely protection from the sun on the pool area and there is NO AC ANYWHERE. The rooms are okay, there is weird smell but all together they are pretty basic and clean. Highly not recommend - we spent 3 days at Amathus before coming here with other family members, spend the extra cash and go to a nice place.

The Hotel seemed nice on arrival. I had a sea view room which was lovely, the cleaners did a great job cleaning the room. It’s a shame the cleanliness wasn’t quite the same around the pool area and toilets near the pool area. The toilets need to be cleaned more than once a day in my opinion due to the high volume of traffic throughout the day. Not once did I see anyone clean the pool out? In the whole 10 days I was there. The Grass was left long around and under the sunbeds and some of the sunbeds could have done with a wash down too. Someone was sick right by a sunbed one day and it was still there 2days later. This is not good. My daughter took my granddaughter to the kids club where there was one member of staff to look after approx 16 children. My daughter stayed because she didn’t feel comfortable leaving her. The toilet was also broken and also the door was broken. The member of staff was on the phone and not watching the kids when my daughter asked her to let her out she was rude saying “I’m on the phone”. This club is not fit for purpose. The food was repetitive and we couldn’t eat it after 6 of 7 days due to this. Some of the staff we felt were rude and not helpful at all. I would not return to this hotel.

We arrived late at night, and unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working. It turned out to be one of the most difficult nights of our stay because the room felt like a sauna due to the heat and humidity. There was no alternative room available, so we had no choice but to spend the night with fans. The following day, we met the wonderful Front Office Manager, Stefan, and the wonderful Guest Relations representative, Christina. They truly turned our stay around and made it a much more enjoyable experience. I also have to say that the hotel itself is fantastic. It has so much to offer, especially for families with children. We traveled with our two children, aged 5 and 3, and I use a wheelchair. We didn’t need to leave the hotel even once because everything we needed was there. The staff are warm, welcoming, always willing to help, and genuinely kind. We are certain that we will return in the future despite the issue we experienced. At the end of the day, what truly matters is not only when things go wrong, but also how a hotel takes responsibility and handles the situation.

Our first time in Cyprus and boy have we struck gold. The hotel is amazing. On entry you are faced with a large reception area and plenty of seats, which is a welcome sight if you have been travelling all day. The staff on reception could not be more welcoming and attentive, extremely eager to help. The lobby bar is well stocked and easily accessed. The food is superbly presented, warm and delicious. As an adults only hotel we were surprised at the proximity of the family hotels but the hotel has maintained the adult basis and the peacefulness around the pool. The beach is on the doorstep and of course, open to everyone bit really pleasant.
