We stayed 3 nights at this hotel in mid-March 2026. Our room was on the 7th floor, facing the Eduardo VII park - a great view during the day. The hotel is located near a Metro station; we found it easy to get here from the airport using the Metro. The hotel also is located near the starting point for the Hop On Hop Off tour buses. There is a selection of good restaurants nearby, as well as a Spar convenience store. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with lots of choice with both hot and cold foods. The bed and room overall are comfortable. There is shampoo/body wash and a hair dryer, but no hair conditioner and no face cloths. There is no restaurant in the hotel (except for breakfast). They have a couple of umbrellas available if needed, but you need to sign a form saying you will pay 25 Euros if you lose or damage the umbrella. I would never stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone. The primary reason is that there was no temperature regulator on the water. The staff said they just got a new boiler, but that all was fixed. However, during my morning showers, the temperature would fluctuate between comfortable and scalding hot. The fluctuation in water temperature in the shower may be related to the morning flushing of toilets taking all the cold water for a short time. This could be easily fixed with a "pressure-balancing" or "thermostatic" valve on the shower - it was not a boiler issue. When mentioning this issue a second day, the staff said the boiler temperature control was fixed, but it wasn’t; I continued to get scalded. I did learn to listen for a change in water pressure as the warning that the temperature was about to change, and I took very short showers! Also the first morning, I almost fell trying to escape the burning water, because the bottom of the bathtub was so slippery. The staff indicated they don’t have any mats to put on the bathtub floor, so gave me bath towels to stand on in the shower. This worked, but it means everyone will have to have their first shower in a slippery tub! Also be aware that “facing the park” means facing the busy street! We thought that a room facing the park would mean it was quiet. The street is extremely busy, with heavy traffic noise, including lots of emergency sirens going late into the night and starting early in the morning. The windows do not block out the noise. If you stay here, take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. If the water temperature control issue was truly fixed, they had bathmats for the tubs, and you had a room facing the inner courtyard, the hotel would be fine.

Me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for our first holiday together and also for my partners birthday. From the start we couldn’t have asked for more everything my was perfect and the staff went above and beyond. A huge thank you to Sergio who we had the joy of meeting in the restaurant for breakfast and straight away he made us feel the most important people in the hotel. We didn’t even mention it was my partner’s birthday and during breakfast Sergio surprised us with glasses of bubbly and a birthday cake and my partner was in tears how special it was. We have literally no complaints at all and even the traffic noise from our room (507) wasn’t an issue. We were both very sad to be leaving but again we got to meet some great people who work at this lovely hotel and great memories. So again thank you all so much for making it so special for us we will never forget it and will cherish the time we had there. Again Sergio thank you so much you are an absolute star and even tho all the staff were amazing you are a huge asset to the company. Para mí es muy buen sitio y muy buen Hotel. Me gustó la atención de la recepción. La limpieza es excelente. La habitación bien arreglada, el baño todo perfecto, la cama muy cómoda y los cojines. Está todo muy bien. Lo único que no me gustó que hay un poco de ruido de los coches… es imposible dormir sin tapones.. pero yo entiendo. El desayuno está bien y hay huevos hay verduras, hay fiambre, fruta, bollería, zumo café todo lo que necesitas. Yo estoy muy contento porque es muy cerca del metro y se puede ir andando hasta el centro.

El hotel no está mal. Está ubicado en un buen lugar, andando a unos quince minutos del centro cuyo camino se hace muy ameno paseando. Cerca de las líneas de bus. La atención del personal es correcta. La habitación, en nuestro caso, muy mal insonorizada. Se escucha todo el tráfico, coches, motos, gritos, aviones, ambulancias, policías.....todo, pero como si estuvieses en la misma calle. Lo cual no ayuda en absoluto a descansar ya que este ruido es constante noche y día. La cama hecha muy regular, sabanas mal colocadas y arrastrando por el suelo. La limpieza en sí es buena pero si encontré ciertas manchas en el frontal del lavabo que al día después continuaron en el mismo sitio y resultaba muy desagradable pensar de dónde venían estas manchas o salpicaduras... Por lo que tuve que limpiarlo con toallitas mojadas. Por lo demás bien, toallas muy limpias y habitación amplia. Me resultó muy incómodo el baño, era un baño adaptado por lo que el WC era altísimo. No había ningún utensilio para colocar toallas y resultaba bastante incómodo.

Enjoyed this stay tremendously! The hotel is cozy and well situated across from the park Eduardo VII . The rooms had a good size were clean and functional with plenty of amenities. The staff was wonderful helpful and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel pulito e con posizione super centrale. Colazione internazionali e Sergio che ti spiega tutto... sono la cosa migliore. Mai capitata una persona così speciale in un hotel. Top
