It’s was a really good hotel and it wasn’t to big or to small so you could find places quickly and the rooms were actually big for a hotel room there was 2 bedrooms a kitchen a bathroom and a balcony which is really good. The pools are really nice there’s a nice outdoor pool there’s a sauna and a steam room for free, activities and shows (usually at evening). In my opinion the hotel was placed in a perfect spot like its a good size there’s a beach right next to it and across the street or below you there’s a shop called pingo doce which is really convenient and there’s usually taxis outside the hotel. The food is was really good the buffet wasn’t loud it was calm and it had a nice selection of food and drink and there’s a outdoor bar and were you can help yourself to drink if it isn’t alcoholic and the staff is really kind, but 1 downside they could make the pool a bit deeper but it was still very nice. In my opinion a 10/10 hotel to stay at if you’re visiting Calheta

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is medium sized which we preferred. Big enough to have all required facilities but not so big as to be impersonal. We hired a car for the time we were there and found it necessary if you want to get a flavour of the island. You can pay for parking at reception and park in the multi-storey car park opposite. Just be aware that it is quite tight to negotiate. Food was a decent quality and there should be something for all tastes. There is a fine dining option which you can book for free which is a more pleasant experience than the standard self serve option, but it will take longer to eat so may not be suitable for all. You can also commute lunch to a packed version if you are going out for the day. There seemed to be sufficient activities for most people to keep them entertained, even if the singers were sometimes not top quality. Embrace it all as part of the experience.

Absolute Enttäuschung – nie wieder Wir waren 10 Tage im Calheta Beach Hotel und leider war dieser Urlaub der schlimmste, den ich je erlebt habe. Der Wellnessbereich war in einem absolut unhygienischen Zustand – schmutzig, es roch stark nach Urin und wir haben sogar Kakerlaken gesehen. Das geht gar nicht. Unser erstes Zimmer war alt, mit kaputten Türen und einer beschädigten Küche. Nach einem Zimmerwechsel wurde es leider nicht besser – im Gegenteil: Es war extrem hellhörig. An Schlaf war kaum zu denken. Jede Nacht Lärm durch andere Gäste, Partys bis spät in die Nacht und bereits ab 3 Uhr morgens wieder Unruhe auf den Fluren. Auch das Buffet konnte uns nicht überzeugen. Es war sehr laut, die Qualität maximal mittelmäßig und die Essenszeiten unpassend organisiert. Zum Glück gibt es in der Umgebung gute Restaurants – sonst wäre das auch noch ein Reinfall gewesen. Insgesamt war dieser Aufenthalt für uns eine große Enttäuschung. Wir würden dieses Hotel definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

Nous terminons un séjour d’une dizaine de jours dans cet hôtel. À savoir que nous étions en all in, que nous avions réservé directement sur le site de l’hôtel ce qui nous as offert quelques avantages comparés à FRAM. Nous avons adorés notre séjour, chambre spacieuse pour une famille de 4 (5 ans et bébé de 3 mois). Il y avait longtemps que nous n’avions pas eu un all in d’aussi grande qualité. Des repas plutôt très bon, toujours des petits plus pour essayer de relever le goût, avoir quelques choses de différents. Le petit déjeuner est lui aussi incroyable. Nous avons adorés les cocktails préparés devant nous dans des shakers avec des vrais alcool internationaux (malibu, captain morgan, ricard etc…). Un grand plus ! Nous avons apprécié également le personnel, et notre fille de 5 ans le kids club (1ere fois où elle réclame de retourner plusieurs d’affilée au kids club c’est dire !). Et merci à la petite dame du ménage qui a toujours rangé les doudous de ma fille car ça la faisait bien rire ! L’hôtel est super bien situé avec un supermarché juste en dessous, un accès à la plage en 2 mins, de quoi faire des restos et louer une voiture, ainsi que des sorties pour voir les dauphins. Vous arriverez également facilement aux balades des fontaines, forêt de fanal etc… et à 35 mins de Funchal. Bref merci beaucoup nous repartons avec de beaux souvenirs. En ayant réservé directement avec l’hôtel nous avions parking gratuit au lieu de 6,5 la journée, accès à un autre restaurant à côté du port avec plats inclus pour les All in. Concernant les points négatifs, nous étions vu mer mais côté « rue » sur le bâtiment « annexe », beaucoup de bruit en dessous avec camion, moto et passage régulier de voiture de manière général. La piscine extérieur mériterait d’être un peu plus chauffée. Et le petit endroit jeux pour enfant d’être modernisé ou agrandit car c’est assez maigre en termes de jeux et un peu vétuste.

Hotel velmi čistý, personál skvělý a vstřícný. Jídlo chuťově úžasné a výběr je famózní. Každý večer jiná večeře (jinak tematicky). Za malinké mínus považuji, že je vše trošku dal. Nicméně je to jen detail a rozhodně bych se vrátil. Nabídka pro All Inclusive je jedna z nejbohatších, co jsem zažil.

Hotel přímo na pláži, parkování bohužel naproti v obchodním centru za 7,5E za den. Krásné místo, jen pokulhává servis. Úklid ve společných prostorách a u baru vedle bazénu 3-.Pláž ihned u hotelu, veřejna, poplatek za lehátko a slunečník. Animační program v hotelu 4-.
