The best week of my life! Dusit Thani Maldives provided one of the most magical holidays I've ever had - the resort facilities and island beauty exceeded all expectations. We had a stunning and spacious over-water villa with uninterrupted ocean and sunset views. The house reef (directly accessible from our villa) rivalled Australia's Great Barrier Reef for its abundant and diverse fish and sea life. The food and service was outstanding and we loved being able to get around by bicycle! The dive centre was professional and accommodating. A major highlight was the manta snorkeling trip which was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The whole island is managed by one resort so it felt really intimate and relaxing. It was the perfect, relaxing holiday and the only bad part was having to leave!

Dusit Thani Maldives: A Slice of Thai Paradise in the Indian Ocean Returning to Dusit Thani Maldives always feels like coming home, a true testament to what makes this Thai brand so special. The hallmark of gracious Thai hospitality is present in every moment, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout the stay. I stayed in one of their water villas, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and perfectly balanced between luxury and comfort. I was delighted to find Diptyque amenities in the bathroom, my absolute favorite brand, a small detail that made a big difference. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was simply amazing with a wide variety of international and Asian cuisine, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. For lunch, I enjoyed the Sea Grill, where the combination of great food and stunning ocean views made for the perfect midday indulgence. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was dinner at The Bunkering. We ended up dining there every single night, and as a Thai, I have to say their authentic Thai food is beyond exceptional, possibly some of the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. The service was equally impressive; Khun Rungnapa and her team went above and beyond to make every meal special. Finally, the house reefs around the resort are breathtaking. I saw a vibrant array of fish and even a few turtles, making each snorkeling session magical. Dusit Thani Maldives perfectly blends Thai charm with Maldivian beauty, a place where luxury feels personal, nature feels close, and every detail is delivered with a smile. I can’t wait to return.

Es un resort bonito y elegante. El arrevife que tienen es impresionante, haciendo snorkel por nuestra cuenta vimos tortugas, tiburones de arrecife, rayas y peces payaso, entre otros. Cuidado que tambien har algun trigger fish sobretodo en la parte de las cabañas de puesta de sol. Nosotros nos alojamos en esas, son las mas intimas pero no es la mejor zona de arrecife, ademas el mar esta más picado que en otras areas de la isla. Si priorizas intimidad y que no te despierten los hidroaviones son las mejores. Si priorizas arrecife son mejored las que estan al lado del dive centre. A nivel de atencion fueron todos muy amables. Yo tuve una incidencia y rapidamente me atendió un medico. Creo que igual faltaron algunas medidas de esterilidad pero en general me trató bien la herida. Por otro lado a nivel de restaurantes la calidad es bastante buena pero en variedad puede quedarse un poco corto. Recomiendo coger all inclusive porque cenar cada dia en el buffet puede hacerse aburrido. A parte de eso hay tres restaurantes: mediterraneo (menu diferente para comer y cenar. Bastante variedad y calidad), em tailandes (romantico para cenar, la comida no nos impresionó) y el vegano (no fuimos). Creo que le faltaria algun restaurantito mas. El bar de snaks solo sirve snaks de 15-18h y no valen mucho la pena. Los cocteles son todos maravillosos. Por ultimo la cabaña es preciosa y lujosa, lo que no acaba de encajar con que el colchon no es demasiado comodo, no parecia un colchon de gran calidad ( o era muy antiguo).

After 7 trips to the Maldives, I think I have finally found the resort I would happily return to again. The highlights for us were the spacious villas with extremely comfortable beds, quiet A/C, beautiful house reef, excellent food, and genuinely friendly staff. The snorkeling around the island was incredible — we saw turtles, sharks, octopuses, eagle rays, clownfish, and even dolphins right in front of our villa. The marine life alone made this trip unforgettable. One of the main reasons we chose this resort was the dedicated plant-based restaurant, which was fantastic. The food across the island was honestly some of the best we have experienced at any all-inclusive resort, especially with the influence of both Thai and French chefs. Wine selection was also exceptional. We also loved having bicycles assigned to each villa, access to all restaurants within the all-inclusive package, the large outdoor deck areas, stable WiFi across the island, and the overall relaxed atmosphere. Special thanks to Amila at Sala, Kaka at The Market, and Pande at Benjarong for making our stay even more memorable. These staff members are true assets to the resort. The main area that could be improved is transparency regarding transportation costs. Some charges were only shared later during the booking process rather than upfront, which unfortunately affected our first impression before we even arrived. We also paid for a “private” boat transfer on departure but ended up sharing the boat with another passenger without prior explanation, which felt disappointing for a five-star experience. A few additional vegetarian breakfast options and clearer directional signs around the island would also be appreciated. Overall, despite a few concerns regarding transportation transparency, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely return again.

Wonderful property with beautiful gardens and layout. Our overwater villa was superb. Staff were fantastic especially Supun in the Sea Grill who was attentive, professional and reallly went over and above to make sure we had wonderfull dinners. The guys in the Sand Bar were great as was the DJ accepting requests. At the Market Kaka was very good and we will miss Mai's smile and cheerful welcome as we enjoy another delicious breakfast. Our massages at the Devarana Spa were fantastic, we have been that relaxed for a long time! Our housekeeper Mahamed made sure our villa was in pristine condition every day! The food was without a doubt and across the board simply excellent! So much variety and care taken in its preparation! From the Market to Sala and the Benjarong, they were all wonderful. We were also impressed that Jean-Louis, the General Manager, made time to have a chat and ensure that we were enjoying our stay. We will be back!

We spent 10 absolutely fantastic days at Dusit Thani Maldives. From the airport welcome, to the seaplane transfer, the stay itself and the return journey, everything was organized impeccably. We stayed both in a Beach Pool Villa and in an Overwater Villa. The Overwater Villa was definitely more refined and modern, probably recently renovated, but both were beautiful and perfectly integrated into the incredible natural surroundings of the island. The ocean and the house reef are stunning, but one of the things that impressed us the most was the food and beverage experience. We ate and drank incredibly well throughout the entire holiday. A special mention goes to Sala Restaurant, which was simply outstanding. Probably one of the best vegetarian restaurants I have ever tried. Absolutely amazing. A huge thank you as well to Saheed, our butler, who made sure we never missed anything. Always kind, professional and attentive without ever being intrusive. Perhaps some parts of the resort could benefit from a slight refresh, but honestly, in such a beautiful place, that would really be looking for flaws where there are hardly any. We also greatly appreciated the assistance on our departure day. We were kindly offered a complimentary room to relax and shower while waiting for our seaplane transfer back, which was a very thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. Thank you again to the entire Dusit Thani team for such a memorable holiday. We truly had an amazing time and will carry these memories with us for a long time.
