Our stay at Nova Maldives was truly unforgettable. The resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and natural beauty. The overwater villa was stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and direct access to crystal-clear waters. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The dining experience was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes and fresh ingredients. The snorkeling and marine life around the island were incredible, making every day feel like an adventure. The resort's peaceful atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and outstanding facilities created the perfect tropical escape. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend Nova Maldives to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable Maldives vacation. We can't wait to return! 🌴✨

Nova Maldives is a wonderful place to relax. The hotel boasts a magnificent house reef teeming with diverse marine life. We would especially like to commend the high level of professionalism and service demonstrated by bartender Chamoda, who not only masterfully crafts exquisite cocktails but is always ready for pleasant conversation. The menu at SOUL KITCHEN is not particularly extensive, but there is always something to eat. There are no complaints regarding the room cleaning. However, there are certain areas that require improvement. In particular, we are concerned about the quality of service provided by the staff at SOUL KITCHEN. There have been significant delays in serving the drink menu, and in some cases, requests for it are ignored. Even if the menu and drink order are successfully received, they are not always delivered promptly. Drinks are often served toward the end of the meal. We would also like to note the staff's insufficient efficiency in clearing used dishes from tables at SOUL KITCHEN. * In addition to the previously submitted review: since the publication of the first part of the review, the general manager has taken active steps to improve the quality of service at SOUL KITCHEN. The situation has improved dramatically: menus and drinks are provided promptly and there are no dirty dishes on the tables.

We had the most incredible stay at Nova Maldives — truly a dream vacation in every sense of the word. From start to finish, the service by every single team member stood out above and beyond anything we’ve experienced before. What made this trip so special wasn’t just the stunning island, but the people who made every moment feel personal and unforgettable. A huge thank you to Hannah from Soul Kitchen and Mizu Teppanyaki. She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful — even helping us plan and book our activities for the next day just through a casual conversation during dinner. She also noticed my husband was struggling a bit with the heat after our activities and kindly brought over cold towels without us even asking. It’s that level of care that truly sets Nova apart. Our private teppanyaki experience with Farhan was unforgettable. Despite it being just the two of us, he brought so much energy, humor, and skill to the session. He made it feel lively and special, and we had such a great time. Shiyaan from Aquaholics made our ocean adventures absolutely magical. He ensured we got to see manta rays — a dream come true — and during our jet ski session, he brought us out to spot dolphins and even to a sandbank, all in one trip. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always made sure we felt safe and well taken care of out at sea. We’re also so grateful to Jaleel, the F&B Manager, who took time during Holhuashi to teach us traditional Maldivian games — such a fun and unique cultural experience. He was also very attentive to our dietary needs and allergies throughout our stay, which we deeply appreciated. Shaamy, the Resort Manager, was equally amazing. Not only did he join in teaching us the games, but he also took time out again on our last day to join us when we invited him for another round. We ended up spending over an hour playing and chatting — it made us feel incredibly special and cared for. Lastly, Aiman from FOH was so thoughtful and proactive throughout our stay. He went out of his way to bring out the Holhuashi games for us when they weren’t readily available, gave us great snorkeling tips (we saw sea turtles thanks to him!), and showed incredible honesty by quickly finding us to return extra cash we had accidentally overpaid. Beyond the people, we loved how much there was to experience — from cultural activities and cooking sessions, to relaxing spa treatments, amazing food experiences, arts activities, and of course the water sports. Every day felt full, yet perfectly balanced. This was truly a dream vacation, and Nova Maldives has set a new standard for us when it comes to hospitality. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories — and we are already looking forward to coming back again.

Wir waren 11 Nächte auf der Insel Nova Maldives und können diese sehr empfehlen. Der Transfer und Empfang, die Erklärungen und der Aufenthalt selbst waren ein Erlebnis. Die Strandvillen liegen toll im Grünen, der Strand einfach fantastisch und eine von uns geschätzte Ruhe waren ein echtes Erlebnis. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Gastronomie ist sehr gut. Die Speisen im Hauptrestaurant sind ansprechend und geschmacklich auf hohem Niveau. Man sollte jedoch kein zu üppiges und voluminöses Buffet erwarten, es ist eben eine kleine Insel mit ca. 120 Gästen. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal bei allen fleißigen Mitarbeitern der Insel und wünschen Ihnen weiterhin viele zufriedene Gäste.

We had an amazing stay at Nova Maldives and would definitely recommend it. The island is beautiful, the atmosphere is very relaxing, and there were many highlights throughout our stay. SERVICE: Great service throughout our entire stay and across every part of the resort. Everyone was attentive, helpful and tried to make things possible. The cherry on top was when the Aikks & team even organized contact lenses for me. That kind of effort goes beyond what you normally expect and, for us, is what separates a 5-star experience from the rest. FOOD: The food was excellent, especially when it came to accommodating gluten-free needs. Special requests were happily prepared for us multiple times, which we really appreciated. A special mention goes to Ray, who was a great chef and took very good care of us. Soul Kitchen has a good selection, although after several days it can get a little repetitive. We’d definitely recommend having dinner at Flames for some variety – we really enjoyed it. DIVING: One of the absolute highlights of our stay. We went diving with our guide Hayyu, who was fantastic. We saw mantas, lots of sharks, turtles and many other fish. It was an incredible experience and definitely one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Special thanks to Hayyu for making the dives so enjoyable! SNORKELING & HOUSE REEF: The house reef is also great for snorkeling. We saw plenty of sharks, rays, turtles and other marine life. Of course, it doesn’t quite compare to the diving, but it’s still a very good experience and great to have directly at the resort. BEACH VILLA: We stayed in a beach villa, which honestly couldn’t have been better. It was beautiful, modern, very clean and quiet, with the sea directly in front of us. Exactly what you would hope for from a Maldives beach villa. SOLIS POOL BAR & SUNSET: We spent quite a few evenings at Solis Pool Bar watching the sunset. It has probably the best sunset view on the island, and the drinks were consistently great. We can especially recommend the Negroni, and the Passionita if you prefer something a little sweeter. A special thanks also goes to the bartender at Solis Pool Bar – unfortunately, we forgot his name, but he really knows his craft. The cocktails were excellent. SEAPLANE TRANSFER: This was the only negative point of our stay. Unfortunately, the seaplane transfer on departure was poorly coordinated with our international flight, which meant we had to spend around six hours waiting at Malé airport before our flight home. We understand that seaplane schedules depend on operational requirements, but it would have been helpful to know about such a long connection in advance. Better communication beforehand would have allowed us to plan our departure day accordingly. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Nova Maldives. Beautiful surroundings, excellent service, an amazing villa and especially memorable diving made this a great experience and we would happily come back.

Hospitality at Nova Resort Maldives is outstanding and exemplary. As full-time travelers, we’ve stayed at many properties, but the level of care here truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, the reception desk welcomed us warmly and made check-in feel effortless, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. A special mention must go to Chefs Sagar and Ray, whose culinary artistry turned every meal into a highlight of our day. Their creativity, attention to detail, and genuine passion for food were evident in every dish, and they were always happy to chat about what they’d prepared The restaurant team — Terry, Sarangi, and Rima — deserve just as much praise. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine smiles made every meal feel like being hosted by old friends rather than served by staff. They anticipated our needs before we even asked and always went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Our housekeeper, Sharaf, was simply wonderful. Every day our room was immaculate, thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear he took real pride and care in his work. Small touches here and there made a big difference to our comfort throughout the stay
