⭐ 3-2-1 Review 😬 3 Things I Liked: *Fantastic facilities with a gym, water slides, pool table, arcade area, movie theatre, and more *Friendly and accommodating staff who upgraded us after a minor issue with our room *Great location within walking distance of the beach and a bus stop 🤐 2 Observations: *The resort is made up of four large buildings and feels very spacious *During the off-season, the hotel felt surprisingly quiet and uncrowded 🙃 1 Thing to Know: *The gym is one of the better hotel gyms I've used, with dumbbells going up to 25kg and a good range of equipment 😃 Personal Experience: This was a beautiful resort and excellent value for money. The standout feature was definitely the facilities, which offered far more than most hotels. The gym was impressive, and the additional entertainment options meant there was always something to do. The staff were genuinely friendly and handled a minor issue in our unit exceptionally well by upgrading us for the remainder of our stay. We skipped the breakfast buffet as we preferred a nearby smoothie and breakfast spot, but everything else about the resort exceeded expectations. While the surrounding town wasn't quite our style, we were very thankful for such comfortable accommodation and would happily stay here again. ❣️ Show some love If you found this review helpful, please like it and follow me on Google Maps. One of the worst Holiday Inns I've ever stayed at, anywhere in the world. We had 12 people staying for 4-5 nights, 4 suites and breakfast for everyone, so paid a hefty amount, and had 1 gold + 1 silver elite member in the group. The day staff was lovely, but the rest of the staff was very difficult, often rude, and speaking inappropriately to our group members. We gave a whole lot of feedback to the manager, who replied with a bunch of motivational speak, and it didn't result in anything further since we were checking out the next day. We found ants all over our room, and housekeeping would only show up if you rang them. Overall, a below average experience. Once of the kids got hurt in the pool because of the derelict state of the whole resort Honestly, we moved to Novotel in Putong, luckily booked 2 hotels for our stay in Phuket, and it's a whole other world. Would not recommend this place to anyone. It also mostly smells pretty bad....

I stayed at the Holiday hotel at Surin Beach, and this was a very disappointing experience that seriously affected our stay. When we first checked into our room, we found that the refrigerator was broken and did not cool at all. In addition, there was no hot water for showering. After we reported these issues, the hotel acknowledged the problems, moved us to another room, upgraded our room, and provided three complimentary massage vouchers as compensation. Unfortunately, the second room turned out to be even worse. The toilet had no water and could not be flushed. The repair work continued until nearly 11:00 p.m. We were already very tired after a full day, and we had to wake up early the next morning for an island-hopping tour. We had planned to go to bed early, but the late-night repair work prevented us from getting the rest we needed. The most unacceptable issue occurred that night. We felt something crawling on us while we were in the room. When we turned on the lights, we discovered geckos in the room—more than one. I recorded a video as evidence. Because we were frightened, the three of us had to squeeze into one bed in the bedroom instead of using the bed in the living area. To make matters worse, the bedroom door would not close properly and always remained slightly open, leaving us worried that the geckos could enter the bedroom. As a result, we were unable to sleep peacefully throughout the night. Throughout our stay, we spent a significant amount of time dealing with room problems instead of enjoying our vacation. The first room had serious maintenance issues, and the second room had both a malfunctioning toilet and a gecko infestation. These repeated problems clearly indicate poor room maintenance and quality control. Although the hotel provided an upgraded room and three massage vouchers as compensation for the problems with the first room, that compensation did not address the much more serious issues we experienced in the second room. It also did not make up for the lost rest, the stress, and the negative experience we endured. This stay fell far below the standard of quality and service I expected from a Holiday hotel. I have kept photos and videos as evidence and have already submitted a complaint through the third-party booking platform. I believe the hotel should take full responsibility for this experience and provide a full refund.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days and had such a wonderful experience. I met a very friendly staff member named Brenda, an amazing lady from Uganda. She was always greeting and welcoming me warmly, making me feel at home during my stay. I also want to thank Champi, the F&B manager, a wonderful lady from Sri Lanka. She helped me a lot while I was staying there and was truly amazing. Their kindness and hospitality made my stay even more special.

Не рекомендую этот отель, если для вас важны чистота, тишина и бесперебойное обслуживание. Отдыхали в начале марта 2026. Я часто путешествую и останавливаюсь в отелях разного уровня — за годы поездок накопился немалый опыт, в том числе отдыхал и раньше в этой сети Holiday INN. И это мой первый негативный отзыв: обычно мне удаётся найти что‑то хорошее даже в неидеальных местах. Но в данном случае вынужден констатировать: сервис и состояние отеля неудовлетворительны. Начну с единственного плюса: расположение отеля отличное! Через дорогу и небольшой парк (в котором сейчас идёт ремонт, что доставляет некоторые неудобства) находится пляж — это огромный плюс, так как можно в любой момент вернуться в номер, отдохнуть и снова пойти купаться. Такая близость к морю делает отдых комфортнее. О минусах ниже по разделам.

Love the location, facilities, breakfast and the attentiveness of the staffs. Once we ordered in room dining, it came later than the promised timing, got 20% and 2 cans of soft drinks which is a nice gesture. Room arrangement is good. Not the most modern and newest looking. But still comfortable, and the amenities also good The only downside is the mosquitoes.. Quite a bit of it. We stayed in the ground floor. Can’t really relax on the terrace without your hands busy repelling the mosquitoes away. .
