We had a truly relaxing and comfortable stay at Oceanfront Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was calm, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. We stayed in a Premium Comfy Room with a bathtub and balcony, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with ample storage and all the necessary amenities provided. The bathtub was surprisingly big — perfect for a couple to relax together after a long day. The bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed excellent sleep throughout our 4-night stay. The infinity pool was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the resort. Watching the sunset from the pool overlooking the ocean was an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect spot to relax, click pictures, or simply soak in the view. The breakfast spread was good with a decent variety of options. While the items were slightly repetitive across days, the quality and taste were satisfying. Another great convenience was the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to Patong and Bangla Road, running every hour from 9:30 AM, with the last shuttle at 8:30 PM — making it easy to explore and return comfortably. Overall, Oceanfront Beach Resort is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for relaxation, comfort, and beautiful sunset views in Phuket. Would definitely recommend it!

I am shocked that a hotel claiming to provide five-star service could handle a guest’s payment in such an unprofessional manner. The amount taken from my card was supposed to be a refundable security deposit. However, without my knowledge or consent, it was converted into a completed transaction and deducted from my account. I have stayed in many hotels and have never encountered a situation where a security deposit was treated as a final charge without authorization. Nearly one month has passed since my check-out date, and I still have not received my money back. The finance department repeatedly claims that a refund has been processed, yet no refund has appeared in my account. More importantly, despite several requests, the hotel has failed to provide valid proof of the refund, such as an ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) or any official refund documentation that would allow my bank to trace the transaction. Instead of properly investigating the issue and providing evidence, I have received the same generic response over and over again. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The most concerning issue is that my security deposit was converted into a completed charge without my permission. I would like to know how this was allowed to happen and why proper authorization was not obtained before charging my card. A five-star hotel should be held to a much higher standard. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing due to poor financial handling, lack of transparency, and the failure to resolve a straightforward refund issue. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience.

We had an amazing stay at Oceanfront Beach Resort! The facilities are amazing🙌🏼Saw someone write about outsiders taking up sunbeds, but we didn’t see anything like this.. there was always a free sunbed even though we stayed in high season. View from the pool is the best!! Staff was exceptional, helped us with everything we needed. I will have to say, when we arrived they had written «happy honeymoon» on our bed, which I did not ask for.. we did not stay there as our honeymoon😅And also the same room had mold in the shower, so we ended having to change rooms.. it all went smoothly so it was fine. Both rooms were spacious and gorgeous! The breakfast was hands down one of the best breakfast I’ve ever had!! And we loved that they had shuttle transport into the city, it was very helpful on our trip! Would come back😍

This is not a true 5-star property; at best, I'd rate it 4 stars. I stayed in the Ocean Room Partial Sea View with Balcony & Bathtub. **Pros:** * Excellent location near the beach, restaurants, convenience stores, and only 10 minutes from Patong Beach. * Spacious, bright rooms with nice sea views. * Good in-room dining, especially the grilled chicken and pizzas. * Three clean swimming pools, including a kids' pool with a slide, an outdoor jacuzzi, and two poolside bars (one by the infinity pool). * Great kids' play area with plenty of activities. * Large breakfast spread with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including some Indian dishes. * Stunning beach views from the rooms and pool area, especially during rainy weather. **Cons:** * Sea-view rooms are quite far from the elevators. * Major communication issues as room-service staff do not speak English, making even simple requests frustrating and time-consuming. * The TV in our room remained faulty throughout the stay despite a replacement, and a smelly telephone reported to housekeeping was never addressed. * The Patong Beach shuttle service was highly unreliable. My family and I, including our 3-year-old daughter, waited in the rain for over an hour for the return shuttle, which never arrived. We eventually had to take a tuk-tuk back, and the hotel only partially reimbursed the cost due to their policy. * Breakfast was exactly the same every day with no meaningful changes. The Indian vegetarian dishes were particularly disappointing. * When I raised these concerns, it was difficult to get hold of the front desk manager, Ms. Laila. When I finally met her, I found her response dismissive and unprofessional. She questioned why I was raising the issue after two days and even walked away during the conversation. Although she later called to offer 2,000 Baht compensation after discussing the matter with management, the service levels did not improve during the remainder of my stay. * Despite paying extra for early check-in and staying for 6 nights, the hotel declined a room upgrade even though the property did not appear fully occupied. Overall, the stay started very well but gradually went downhill. The property has good facilities, beautiful views, and a convenient location, but inconsistent service, poor communication, and an unreliable shuttle service significantly impacted the experience. While I appreciate the compensation offered, I was looking for better service rather than money. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property.

I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years — from 3-star to luxury 5-star resorts — and unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. In my opinion, this hotel is nowhere near a true 5-star standard; at best it feels like a 2–3 star property. The biggest issue was cleanliness: multiple rooms had ants and even cockroaches. I completely understand seeing mosquitoes or small insects in tropical weather, but cockroaches and ant infestations inside several rooms are simply unacceptable. I was moved between 3–4 different rooms and the problem continued every time. Reception and room service were also extremely frustrating, as they rarely answered the phone when assistance was needed. The atmosphere was also far from family-friendly. There were many heavily intoxicated guests around the property, and the walls were so thin I could literally hear my neighbors’ conversations, movements… and even their farts. That says enough about the soundproofing quality. When I finally requested a refund so I could leave and book another hotel, they insisted on charging a cancellation deduction, almost half of what I had paid, despite the ongoing room issues. Very disappointing experience overall.

Me and my wife spent 7 days at this hotel. I'm general, the hotel's location is very good and you can see the ocean, and the breakfast was delicious and we had a variety of food even rice and chicken. They even offer icecream. The room was comfortable but the cleanliness wasn't the best as I could see spider nests behind the door. The sound insulation is so bad that we could hear anyone talking in the corridor including the staff's laughs. The worst thing for me was the room service staff which whenever they came to clean the room, they take bathrobes along with some towels and don't leave a replacement so I had to call the reception every time to request them who sometimes used to send something else other than what I had requested. The reception staff is also very unprofessional and doesn't even say welcome or smile at you when you arrive for the first time. Their English isn't the best and most of the time they don't understand what you say so you have to repeat yourself. I believe you can find better alternatives for the same price or similar for much cheaper.
