Mal, pagamos all inclusive y hay restricciones en todo, ponen peros y quieren cobrar varias cosas aparte. En los restaurantes Fasano y Bacoli, debes hacer reservación en cuanto llegues porque no hay lugar en días próximos, ya tienen un menú preestablecido para compartir, si te dejas te lo dan, nosotros no lo quisimos y exigimos pedir de la carta y sólo así nos proporcionaron la carta. En general el hotel está viejo y huele a húmedad, caí en los videos que hay circulando en donde dicen que está muy buena la comida, mentira no es de la mejor calidad y te venden un all inclusive que no existe. Jamás regresaría y no lo recomiendo. El servicio y atención de la mayoría del personal es bueno, pero hay uno que otro grosero. Sólo porque está ubicado en una playa hermosa, pero fuera de eso, malísima experiencia con este hotel.

Para empezar, no considero que sea realmente un hotel “todo incluido”. El minifridge de la habitación no se rellena con bebidas ni agua despues de que recibes la habitacion inicialmente. El servicio a la habitación no comienza hasta las 11:00pm, tienes acceso limitado a los refrescos y, además, debes pagar cerca de $17 cada vez que solicitas el servicio. Son detalles que no esperas encontrar cuando reservas una estancia bajo el concepto de “todo incluido”. El restaurante de la cena tampoco tenía aire acondicionado. Básicamente, tenías dos opciones: cenar afuera, donde la comida se enfriaba en dos segundos, o comer dentro soportando la alta temperatura, incluso con ventiladores y aires acondicionados portátiles. El menú de la cena era reducido y repetitivo. Curiosamente, el desayuno y el almuerzo tenían muchas mejores opciones y mejor calidad. En la habitación, el extractor del toilet no funcionaba. Los elevadores también estaban frecuentemente ocupados por el personal de limpieza de las habitaciones, aunque debo decir que precisamente las personas de housekeeping fueron de las más amables y eficientes que encontramos durante nuestra estancia. La piscina de los niños tenía moho y, en mi opinión, no se encontraba en condiciones óptimas con respecto a la seguridad, ya que faltaban tornillos en varios lugares. Es muy difícil encontrar un manager o supervisor a quien transmitirle los reclamos. Y algo que me parece difícil de justificar: incluso con todas estas deficiencias, si llegas antes de la hora oficial del check-in, debes pagar un CARGO EXTRA para poder utilizar los beneficios del “TODO INCLUIDO” hasta que sean las 3:00 pm. Si ya tienes una reservación todo incluido para ese día, considero que este tipo de política le resta todavía más valor a la experiencia. También quiero reconocer los aspectos positivos. El staff de housekeeping, lobby, los meseros y bartenders son súper amables y laboriosos. La señorita Briyid Lucas fue muy amable y eficiente con su trabajo. La piscina permanece abierta hasta bastante tarde, y hay un Oxxo justo a la salida del hotel, muy conveniente para comprar artículos de primera necesidad. En conclusión, actualmente no recomendaría quedarse en este hotel. La propiedad tiene todo el potencial para ofrecer una experiencia mucho mejor, pero necesita tomar mejores decisiones en cuanto a administración, mantenimiento y servicios para hacer la estadía mucho más amena.

We came to Emporio in June. The hotel is very close to the airport which is convenient. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. We had so many positive interactions with Yolani, Jonathan, Calendaria, Jesus, Leo, Jorge, and Gonzalez to name a few. The volume of guests at this time of year was low so it is prime time to visit. There was construction at the resort but this posed absolutely no issue for us since the ocean was open and the pools were not busy and at the perfect temperature. For the price, I feel we received exceptional service. We would love to come back in the future. For what it is worth, the hotel is “kids free” which means kids get in free, not that there are no kids allowed :) there are two separate kid’s pools from the adults only pool so we had no issues having and Adults Trip. We came during the World Cup and the sports bar was open at special times so the guests could enjoy together. I would recommend this hotel, especially in the “off season” when we came! Edit to add in light of other reviews… come with a good attitude and always be kind to others, and you will have an amazing time! It’s vacation!

Very disappointing experience at Emporio Cancun Optional All Inclusive. The resort's name is misleading—it makes you think your booking includes an all-inclusive package, but it does not. The food was terrible, and the biggest issue was the repeated power outages. We booked a 7-night stay (July 4–11) but left after only 3 nights because there was no electricity or air conditioning in Cancun's hot, humid weather. It's shocking that the resort doesn't have a reliable backup power system. The night manager, Christian Bonilla, provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. If you speak only English, I would not recommend this resort. Even the front desk staff were unwilling or unable to communicate effectively in English. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not recommend this resort.

El Hotel no esta tan mal, pero realmente no nos respetaron la reservacion que se hizo y no accedieron a negociar un cambio justo. Nos cobraron mal y al hacer el checkout nos pidieron diferencia. En los restaurantes de especialidades fue imposible hacer una reservacion. Desde el primer dia jamás tuve las 3 toallas que necesitábamos, me dejaban solo 1 toalla para 3 huéspedes que estuvimos ahi. Al mismo tiempo estuvieron mis papás en otra habitación donde me cuentan que ellos dejaban diario propina y siempre les dejaron toallas demás.... osea que el servicio al cuarto no se incluye en el pago del servicio del hotel??, yo pensaba darle el último dia su propina, pero creo que no es justo que no te atiendan bien si no les vas dejando diario. No me pude meter con mis hijis a la alberca infiniti porque es solo adultos, si es hotel familiar, creo que esto lo deberían quitar, por eso hay hoteles only adult no? En realidad mi calificación seria de 2.5 estrellas porque dejo mucho que desear.

Where do I start … so we booked this hotel based on the reviews , we did not get the all inclusive bc we were not going to be at the hotel all day, we had activities the days we where here . The day we arrived the staff the the lobby where friendly and explained everything we needed to know, but once we got out room we had no idea where to go, no one showed us how to ge there, elevator most of the time did not work, the room seem fine but def an older hotel. Our sheets and pillow smelled liked muggy I had to call and have them all replaced . When we did decide to at the buffet it was $33 each and the food was not good at all, it was extremely hot inside, that outside made it feel much cooler. You do actually get what you pay for , it’s in a good location and we did get the ocean front which is nice . Other than that I would spend a bit more for comfort. We will it be staying here again and we will not recommend to anyone.
