My friends and I stayed at Ocean Maya Royale for 7 days, and we had the absolute best experience! From the beautiful location to the delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations. What truly made this trip unforgettable, though, was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially these amazing individuals: Roberto (Swim-Up Bar) – Roberto was incredibly friendly and remembered us throughout our stay. He always greeted us with a smile and made sure our drinks were prepared quickly, no matter how busy it was. Angel (La Hacienda) – We had Angel as our breakfast server for most of our stay, and he was fantastic. He was always attentive, making sure our drinks were refilled and checking in to see if we needed anything else. Victor & Luis (Wine Tasting) – Our wine tasting experience was one of the highlights of the trip thanks to these two! They were hilarious, knowledgeable, and kept the energy high the entire time—even with the rain trying to dampen the day. Gustavo & the Experience Team (Party Pool) – Gustavo and the rest of the entertainment staff were amazing. They kept everyone engaged with fun games, great music, and an upbeat atmosphere every day. David (El Charro & Dolce Vita) – David provided outstanding service during our dinners. One evening at El Charro, he seemed to be the only server working, yet he never let that affect the quality of his service. He remained attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone was taken care of. Marcelo & Jesus (Sports Bar) – These two were incredibly kind and attentive every time we visited. They always made us feel welcome and provided excellent service throughout our stay. George (Front Entrance/Bell Service) – George helped transport us to and from our room during check-in and check-out, carrying all of our incredibly heavy luggage with a smile. We really appreciated his help! There were so many other staff members who made our vacation special, but the people mentioned above truly left a lasting impression. Even though there was sargassum during our visit (which is unavoidable this time of year), the staff made sure there was always something fun to do and that guests continued to have a great experience. We also appreciated how careful everyone was with food allergies and how genuinely welcoming every staff member was. The resort itself was beautifully maintained, and our room was always spotless. One thing we especially loved was how nice and cold the room stayed after spending hours in the heat. Room service was impressively fast as well. Anytime we requested extra towels or bottled water, someone arrived almost immediately. Thank you to everyone at Ocean Maya Royale for making our vacation so memorable.

La atención fue excelente y los espacios muy bonitos, la calidad de los alimentos y bebidas en general es muy buena, todo está en excelentes condiciones, el personal ha sido muy atento y amable, las amenidades cumplen con lo que prometen. El restaurante italiano es en mi opinión el mas rico, está a pie de playa, puede llegar a ser el más caluroso, pero la atención y los platillos son buenísimos. El mexicano fue mi favorito porque maneja un horario más extenso y los platillos son deliciosos aunque las opciones sean limitadas. Todo está muy limpio y cómodo, además, se pueden apreciar varias especies silvestres en las instalaciones, como iguanas, coati, mapache, sereque y hasta venados. La playa es tranquila, aunque por desgracia, en este momento hay mucho sargazo.

We had an excellent time at the Mayan dinner as part of our stay at Ocean Maya Royale. This has been one of our favourite meals as a couple. We loved seeing the culture of Maya and hearing about the history of Mayan culture. The outfits and dancing was excellent. Alongside this we had excellent food, particularly the steak. The best service by Josue, Alberto and Manolo. Pilar was an amazing hostess, she took the time to learn everyone's name and introduce lots of interesting facts. I would 100% recommend this addition to anyone staying at this resort.

Viridiana was amazing. She has the biggest heart. I spent time with her on the resort and the aquafit. She has truly been fantastic- genuine. Lupa has also been amazing. And so good at massages. Denise works in the buffet. Lovely. Very good at what she does - making multiple breakfast meals at once. The resort has been lovely. Maybe a bit slower than what I’m used to - but that’s the Northern American mindset. Also wish that the beach restaurant was as open - didn’t realize it would be closed for 2months. Pool was great. Having snacks more available / variety would Be great as well.

Lovely hotel, adults only is great and the 24 hour all inclusive is brilliant, meaning you don’t have to wait for food or be ruled by set times to eat etc. The only thing that wasn’t great was there is a schedule for all of the restaurants and you have to check this. The à la carte restaurants aren’t open everyday, for example the Mexican isn’t open on a Tuesday and the main buffet restaurant is closed 3 nights a week. The Japanese is brilliant but you have to book on the day at 17:45. When my husband booked he arrived at 17:47 and 10 people were in front of him and the earliest he could book was for 21:00. This is also an experience so if you’re looking for a private and intimate meal this isn’t for you as you’re with a group of 8. Beds are huge, showers are huge and the air con was great and we didn’t have a problem at all. Drinks fridge restocked everyday in the rooms as well with a free safe. Entertainment is brilliant, there really is something for everyone. Viridiana is absolutely amazing, she is warm, friendly, energetic and always comes round to everyone asking them if they want to be included in the activities. She always has a smile on her face and always takes time to speak to all of the guests and was brilliant. She makes sure that you know what is on for that day and what is going on, even if it’s not what you’re into…she wants everyone to feel included and welcome 🤗

I'm returning home from my week long stay in Ocean Maya Royale, and it was a great week! The drinks were amazing and the staff was just as good! From the first hour we were here the staff were very helpful and friendly and made our experience worth it. The pool staff were very friendly and I have to give a shout out to activity guy Gustavo, he was so friendly and made sure to build a personal relationship with us and made us have a great time! Then I have to give another shoutout for my bartender Roberto, he is literally the best always smiling and even named a drink after me (Malibu and pineapple juice) the TAYLOR very nice and he will be missed! Overall great time here will be coming back!
