Thought booking a 5 star hotel for my holiday would be an awesome experience instead the property had to many rules and regulations. Only ONE designated smoking area located at the front of the hotel for the whole property. Met a couple who informed me they used their tobacco vape on the beach and was threatened by staff that police would be called for using their TOBACCO vape. Bar closes at 1am 😢 no real entertainment, place feels like a retirement home and I felt like I was back in the military with all the rules. If you’re looking to enjoy your holiday this is not the place to be. I would never book here or recommend this place to anyone unless they are 60 and over. I came here to celebrate my 40th birthday and had the worse experience. Also there was a roach crawling in our room last night for this to be a 5 star was not expecting that now we have to shake our luggage out when we arrive home 😢😩 Looking to have fun book RIU or princess where there are endless parties even on the family side ***UPDATE*** our flight got canceled due to weather conditions and all flight passengers were shuttle to the HILTON when I say day and night. We arrived around 5pm and the hotel rooms were gorgeous, huge balconies with lounge beds and table and chairs. Everything was updated and modern something I expected to see from a 5 star hotel, rooms were beautifulllll and there was a neon party with plenty of entertainment for the children and adults. Hooka bars were set up outside with 4 different smoking sections on the property. Endless fun, wish I would’ve known this beforehand but now we know! I enjoyed my 1 night there more than my 5 nights at iberostar Book HILTON

Las vacaciones mejores que he tenido, pero, con algunos detalles; A) Al llegar te "envían " , con los asesores para venderte la membresía, te apuntan a restaurante japonés y a la platica de la membresía, gracias a Sr. Axel el cual me dio un resumen de 10 minutos. La platica que ya habíamos tenido en el Moon Palace ( 5 1/2 hrs). B) Con respecto al cuarto, muy bien, pero, el clima si tiene algunos detalles. Si ajustas por ejemplo 22°C el aire acondicionado, el ventilador se apaga al llegar a la temperatura, la falta de flujo de aire ocasiona que las personas tengamos calor, el factor del flujo de aire, es muy importante. Sin contar , que el apagar y arranque del motor es muy incómodo. No deja dormir. Se le aviso a Mantenimiento y al llegar ya sabían del problema ( hasta de otros), comentó que podían dejar continuo el ventilador, pero, la temperatura baja hasta 16 o 17°C ( solución qué ya había probado). Como ya tenia solución a ese problema; me paso igual en otras Vacaciones en otro Hotel también en Cancún, ya no insiste ....continuará. con la solución poco ortodoxa, pudimos dormir bien las siguientes noches. C) Los 3 depósitos de agua , no fueron rellenados, después , el deposito es muy bonito y apesar que dicen que lo venden, para que no te lo robes, en servicio al huésped me avisaron, que ya no. El agua tiene el sabor de sargazo, como que no viene de la compañía que identifica la botella, solo para hacer café ( oculta el sabor) y lavarse los dientes . Si es del sistema de destilación del hotel, deberían analizarla y ver el filtrado de carbón activado. D) Para los que de vez en cuando, apesar, de estar en vacaciones; tomamos siestas ( dormir en las tardes) , en un día por reparaciones de impermeabilizante, pues no se pudo (Piso#1.) E) De la comida, hummmm, excelente, el mejor Ribeye Angus de toda mi vida ( créame 60 años), en la Parrilla, perfecto el Japonés, hasta nos dieron por ser mexicanos, picante. en el Bufete de desayunar, solo quedo pendiente, un " machacado con huevo". plato del norte de México. Gracias, al cocinero , que le dio una pasada al platillo de carne, que tenía termino inglés, aunque otra persona ( mujer) hizo que se lo cediera, pero, me preparo más. Todos muy atentos en todos sus restaurantes....continuará. F) En el bar , que se encuentra en el "Lobby" aunque estuvimos poco, la vez de la noche de casino. la presentación de la arpa...genial, los de,etc...hubo una vez que me fui a la barra y pedí dos "tragos" , uno para mi y otro para mi hija, y el "Barman" solo me dio uno, le pedí el otro con la excusa de llevármelo al cuatro (un mojito), con un chiste de por medio, el cual escucho un Italiano y su familia. De ahí pasamos a platicar...pedí un bandera, para continúar mi " gracia" con el Italiano, las banderas tienen los mismos colores. no tenía como preparar, pedí un submarino, me dijo el barman, que estaba prohibido (???) , le dije solo preparalo...para verlo y tampoco, si que saben como aburrir a la gente...ni como pedir un barman estilo Cóctel. G) El grupo de entrenamiento, si que tienen muchas ganas y profesionalidad, un saludo a Beto, a Keyla, y a todos lo que se me olvidan, a los cantantes , mi admiración, los que cantaron en la alberca con un solo admirador (Yo)...por cierto merecen un equipo de sonido un poco mejor, ya que ése ya "cartonea" en los graves. De las presentaciones en la noche. formidable, los bailarinas y cantantes. De los bailables regionales. un poco más de sabor con los "taconazos" para que se aprecie... De la presentación de Rock, todos. todos mis respetos, de lo mejor, solo que normalmente, el grupo se presenta a si mismo en su estilo, por ejemplo...con un "solo" de cada instrumento. ( para que NO fallen al presentarlos , ni en el nombre o como paso , en el instrumento). En cada día que fuimos al teatro paso que al regreso a dentro del hotel, el huésped tiene que abrir la puerta, ( y hasta un día estaba descompuesta). En esa de Rock , me permiti. probar si Yo la mantenía abierta, el flujo era mejor, menos caos, más rápido, contentos.Se acabó el esp..

Room service isn't great. Welcome desk isn't good. However, the food is good, variety isn't there its just a repeat every day, burger shack has left over oil used, ice cream truck is more than half the time shut or unavailable flavors. Our best experiences was with guest services Norma, Nelson, Edgar, Rigel made our stay very worth it. MARIA from the excursions and additions team you're wonderful Drinks are all very diluted and more ice less flavour but fhe guest services support with booking of restaurants and cake for our babys birthday and also, the way they treated our special needs son. Wonderful ! Thank you guys for making it worth it. Iberostar location is great Leo is one of their best to speak with for the the club, Fernanda is great with advise. The breakfast guys you really work hard at moving tables and service. We were treated like family here will come back another time for a better experience. Hoping the shows will move into air-conditioned space and there are no mosquitoes biting kids and babies. For the water and pool area - guys please take off towels from cabanas that are not used, you dont get a seating at all until 6 30 pm. Then theres barely two hours of water time.

Mi experiencia fue maravillosa!!! Me encantó todo el hotel , las instalaciones increíbles la habitación los restaurantes. El servicio fue maravilloso el personal muy amable, los chicos de animación amables y me encantó su dinamismo , quiero hacer mención de un chico de animación llamado Pedro ,una persona muy amable y respetuoso,atento muy lindo ,el trato fue excelente ,sin duda alguna pienso regresar a Iberostar !!! Mi estancia en el hotel fue muy agradable, prometo regresar Iberostar ☺️

To be honest my first day didn’t go so well. The check in process was unbelievable.. I was told we’d get notified once our room was ready and didn’t. Instead had to stand in line all over again for an additional 20 mins to activate room pass. We visited for my daughter’s 16th birthday. I’m from NJ the rooms were definitely giving Jersey Shore vibes so maybe I should have gotten a suite.. Food in my opinion was mediocre unless at restaurants Location was amazing about 15 mins from airport. Activities on resort were great but the night atmosphere is non existent. I stood at an Iberostar in Jamaica and it was the complete opposite. What I did love was the Mariachi band, and mechanical bull. But the activity person lost the list for the bull so my kids waited over an hr just to be notified the list was lost. Would I stay here again? No would I give Iberostar another shot … yes

Hotel itself is pretty nice. Food was also pretty good. We definitely had problems with our room view , the day we arrived and got our room it wasnt the view we was expecting as we paid for ocean view so we asked to change it to that , when we asked they told us they had nothing available and wouldn’t be able to get the room until the next day. Honestly we expected for them to try and have the room ready for us the next day at least but they did not. They made us leave the room we was in tjat moring and pack our things and wait again until 3 to get the room so they just weren’t accommodating at all and didnt really care to have that room ready for us that second day. Also service wasn’t all that good dont expect to get attended to much at all , if thats what your expecting this isnt the resort for you !
