We stayed at the Grand Bavaro Princess for 7 days. It was our first time trying an all-inclusive resort, and this resort has set a very high standard for us! Firstly, the resort is a short drive from the airport, making it easily accessible. We flew in from Canada, and the check-in process went very smoothly. Our first impression was that the resort is extremely well-maintained, and the staff are very friendly. Also, the food was delicious. There are two buffets to try, and the quality of the meals is spectacular. The resort also has several restaurants available to book, which adds greater variety beyond the buffet menu. Guest Services and the front desk are always willing to help, providing great insight into how to make your trip even smoother! Lastly, there are so many excursions available to try, and the beach is absolutely beautiful! There are several pools around the resort as well. We tried parasailing at the resort, which was a fun experience. Overall, I highly recommend this resort!

Overall, it was a nice hotel, but it was the first all-inclusive hotel I have visited where I had to queue for almost everything, including the restaurant, bars, and reception. I only had eggs for breakfast twice because the queue was always at least 15 minutes long. The food was average, there was plenty of choice and I was never hungry, but I found myself eating very similar food most evenings. Breakfast was much better. The meat was not great, but the paella and seafood were really good. The service was among the worst I have experienced. That said, the staff in the main restaurant were excellent. Benito at breakfast and Nuna at dinner were both amazing and provided outstanding service. Regarding the excursions I booked through the hotel, the boat party with snorkelling was disappointing and not worth the time or money. The trip started almost an hour late, and the snorkelling experience was poor. In contrast, the full-day trip to Saona and Catalina was excellent, and I would highly recommend it. Communication was sometimes difficult because not many people spoke English. Additionally, the seaweed on the beach was only cleaned twice during my stay, as far as I could tell.

The staff and service at the resort was extremely good. The staff was very friendly in the platinum service section was Fantastic. The hotel is very clean and the cleaning staff were fantastic. The food was fresh and very delicious. We are already planning the next stay here in a few months. The final special dinner at the beach blew us away. We have stayed at many resort and this is tops. The staff at the final special dinner specifically Marlin, Estefania and Maria was fantastic. We loved this place

Review of Grand Bavaro Princess Pending review Reviewed Un hotel muy grande, y cuando es asi es dificil moverse por todos lados. No diria que es 5 estrellas mejor le daría 3 y medio o 4. Salvo que pagues los paquetes más caros, porque ahi la comida y el trato es diferente. Yo pagué el básico, porque no me interesa un alcohol caro. Sí, lo quiero lo tomo en mi casa, yo busco una buena playa y un buen mar. En estos días que empezó a llegar el sargazo el hotel mantuvo la playa muy limpia y nos pudimos bañar y disfrutar largas horas dentro del mar. En mi caso en particular no uso la piscina para eso me quedo en mi casa busco solo mar las piscinas siempre están llenas de gente que toma alcohol y seguramente orinan adentro no las utilizo así que no voy a opinar sobre la piscina se veía grande y muy animada. He viajado 4 veces a República Dominicana y estuve en otros hoteles más o menos de esta categoría donde nunca faltaba el tocino o el aguacate o el jamón crudo en los desayunos y en algunos casos hasta salmón enfetas o frutos secos bueno en este hotel la comida del buffet del plan más básico es así, basica no habia eso. Los restaurantes temáticos son realmente excelentes ,un 10 no tengo queja de nada el trato del personal la calidad de los platos fue verdaderamente un lujo. El servicio de la habitación fue impecable. Y se realizó todos los días que yo estuve que fueron 10 dejan jabón café champú crema de enjuague, una crema para el cuerpo no dejan cepillo de diente ni afeitadora, ni otros artículos que sí, he recibido en otros hoteles como le dije antes de más o menos esa categoría.. En conclusión, es un hermoso hotel volvería sin duda en la ubicación y la playa estuvieron muy bien y la comida sin grandes expectativas también muy bien More Date of stay: June 2026

Queremos agradecer especialmente a Arlin en recepción por la cálida bienvenida. Desde nuestra llegada nos hizo sentir muy bien recibidas, fue amable, atenta y profesional. Su excelente actitud marcó el inicio de unas vacaciones maravillosas. ¡Muchas gracias por hacer nuestra experiencia aún más especial! La atención en el buffet el trapiche en el desayuno muy bien todo fresco siempre atentos a las bebidas desde que llegas. We just got back from our 1st time at this resort. Overall we had a great time, the weather was very hot but it's summer. We enjoyed our location and we chose for the upgraded price for the. Platinum Club. Was much more quiet, we liked that. The rooms were clean although had mosquitoes that would not go away. We brought our own bug spray which worked ok. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The reason for the 4 star and not 5, the alcohol selection was underwhelming. I'm a tequila guy and what they had was not so good. Also with being an all inclusive the food in the restaurants was ok, not bad but not great. We did enjoy sushi at Wasabi and SOHO had an amazing steak. So thank you GBP for a great overall vacation.
