✨ All that glitters is not gold 👎🏻 We stayed at the Level Melia Caribe Beach early January 2026. I don’t recommend this hotel. I was fooled by good reviews and pretty pictures. If you look closer, many reviews praise concierges only – staff asks to mention them, so a lot of feedback is not really objective or relevant. Yes, hotel looks stunning: green territory, shiny reception, mangroves, boho beds, peacocks. Your insta followers will die of jealousy. But good on pictures does NOT mean good quality, comfy or carefree holiday. Main problem – sunbeds anarchy. Beach and main pool don’t have enough sunbeds. After 7:30am (!) there’s none. People reserve overnight, steal others sunbeds, you end up on towels on wet sand or lawn. Towels are also an issue – 9am and “no towels, don’t know when come back”. Management & staff: Level lounge not helpful at all, can’t explain basics, can’t solve simple issues, late checkout was a mess. Reception useless. Hotel is clearly understaffed: dirty tables, queues everywhere, huge line to main restaurant. Staff looks tired and uninterested, sometimes is even rude. Bars & food: things constantly run out (mojito, sparkling water). Sparkling wine is awful, cocktails sugary, some bottles (e.g vermouth) are just decoration. Level private restaurant is small, overcrowded, same food every day (not same menu but literally yesterday’s stuff served again), things run out and not restocked. You can smell garbage odour around resort, especially near level pool. Music playlist is 5 same songs on repeat all day - tiny detail, but it drives you mad. Animation almost nonexistent, schedule unclear. Shows average. Rooms ok but loud near reception, tacky details, old stuff, smelly pillowcases. There are better hotels for this money. If you don’t mind queues, stress and no sunbeds – try it. Photos will be great at least.

The level is not what it used to be. My main complaint is that we booked the level as we have done it in other melia resorts. Usually you get your own concierge that will book restaurants for you and help you navigate services. You won't have one here. We were approached by one staff who said he was our concierge, his name is Danger. He asked if we received our welcome gift, we told him no and it was our honeymoon and he said he would give us a free couples massage. He then invited us to a raffle event saying we could maybe win more gifts. It turned out to be the shared time pitch talk. We left, then he said we get nothing because we didn't stay. We told him we are very disappointed and he has now ghosted us completely. With the level you usually get access to the top shelf alcohol. Not at this resort! Absolute vodka is the top shelf for this resort. Staff are nice, however, they are always understaffed for some of the nice restaurants. Food is 3.8, it's good, but not amazing. The place is clean and the beach is beautiful. I really enjoyed the level pool. It was quiet and a nice place to relax. We're on our honeymoon here until Tuesday and we are extremely disappointed and feel we have been misled by multiple staff.

Úžasný resort :) Letěli jsme přes německou cestovní kancelář Jahn Reisen. Vřele doporučuji. Skvělý servis a ještě k tomu ušetříte spoustu peněz než letět s cestovkou českou. V hotelu all inclusive, 24 hodin denně zdarma servis na pokoj, minibar také zdarma. Pokoj jsme měli velký s výřivkou hned vedle postele. Úklid pokoje vždy perfektní. Tento resort je obrovský a rozděluje se na několik částí. S programem Level Adult máte přístup do všech bazénů v resortu. Ale do ,,Level,, části smí jen 18+. Každý den mnoho různých aktivit se skvělým animátorským týmem. Každou noc v divadle různé představení. V resortu je mnoho restaurací, barů, kasíno, tenisové kurty a mnoho dalšího. Resort je tak velký, že každou chvíli jezdí vláčky a nebo golfové vozíky, které vás kamkoli vemou. Personál moc příjemný. Opravdu vřele doporučuji, nádhera.

This was our second time staying at The Level and we will be back for a third time. The grounds are beautiful, so clean and pretty, food at the main buffet was good, great variety for everyone, Serindipity also had a great buffet for breakfast and lunch. Jeffery who drove us to and from the main lobby and The Level was so nice and funny(always held the door open for me lol) and Deiby at the bar by the beach(Cathea) was always happy and smiling (happy wife happy life), these people are all amazing and so friendly, cant wait to come back🥰🥰

Si piensan gastar su dinero en la sección premium "The Level" de Meliá Punta Cana Beach, NO LO HAGAS. Fuimos por un cumpleaños y nos arruinaron el viaje. Personal sin capacitación: Les preguntas por un restaurante o evento y se miran sin saber qué responder, parecen todos empleados en su primer día. Descontrol total en piscina: Una señora tomó sol desnuda durante 2 días en la piscina sin que nadie de seguridad hiciera nada. Recién actuaron cuando me quejé (situación que me admitió Guest Services). Insalubridad: En el buffet Serendipia había cucarachas caminando sobre la comida. El manager la sacó con un papel y dejó la comida ahí. Un asco. Maltrato: En ese mismo lugar, la host y dos empleadas insultaron a mi novia delante del manager, quien solo atinó a decirles que se callaran. Habitación rota: Estuvimos 13 días sin TV ni enchufes. Reclamamos diario y nunca "tuvieron repuestos". La segunda almohada tardó días en llegar. Restaurantes nefastos: Bebidas que tardan 40 min, meseros de mal humor y managers que solo dicen "es que el mesero es nuevo/está distraído". Gestión fantasma: La playa está llena de vendedores y niños (se vende como Solo Adultos). La manager Luz Mateo nunca dio la cara. Su gran solución al irnos fue "vuelvan a reservar en unos meses para ver si mejoramos". Huyan de este hotel, la gerencia es un desastre y no vale un centavo de lo que cobran.
