El servicio es muy bueno y las personas que trabajan aquí son de lo mejor el aire es fresco te re lajas y todo eso pero para personas fiestera y jóvenes les falta algo de ambiente más activo y más actividades para participar la noche de los me quede 2 noches y la 2da noche fue la mejor si eres vergonzoso como yo te sientes en un ambiente cómodo para ser tu mismo, por otra parte lo que son las abitaciones no es lo que esperábamos están feas no tienen lujo y así solo una abitacion, devén de mejorar los tiempos para que no le hagan perder el tiempo al turista ya que yo y mi familia nos despertamos a las 10:00 para poder desayunar pero teníamos que ir ha hacer algo que el hotel quería de nosotros en la ida y vuelta nos dieron las 11:30 y ya no teníamos el entusiasmo del desayuno. Realmente me gustó el personal y su hospitalidad.

We stayed at Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites for 9 nights and had a very enjoyable vacation. The highlight of the resort is definitely Bavaro Beach. The water was warm, clear, and beautiful, and the beach was perfect for long walks and relaxing by the ocean. There was some seaweed in the water and on the beach at times, but the beach staff usually cleaned it up in the morning, and it did not significantly affect our experience. The resort grounds were well maintained, and there were plenty of dining options available. We enjoyed visiting several à la carte restaurants and appreciated having different cuisines to choose from throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and hardworking, although some service requests took longer than expected. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was relaxing and family-friendly. Overall, this is a great resort for travelers looking for a beautiful beach, warm Caribbean water, and a relaxing all-inclusive experience.

My wife and I stayed at the Iberostar Selection Bávaro from April 27th to May 2nd, 2026, and overall we had a very positive experience. This was our first time at this resort, and we would definitely return. The resort was spotlessly clean everywhere — rooms, common areas, pools, and beach. The restaurants were excellent, with great variety and very good quality. The service was outstanding, staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The beach was beautiful. Perfect for long walks and relaxing. However, the smoking areas were placed a bit too close to the eating zones and busy foot traffic area, which was unpleasant. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t very powerful. Even set at maximum capacity, it never went below 23-24°C. We were booked in a Wellness room, which sounded nice in theory. However, the air purifier was very dirty when we arrived (we didn’t dare use it), so we never really understood the wellness benefit of the room. Despite the two small issues mentioned above, this was a wonderful vacation. The positives far outweighed the negatives. Great resort, beautiful beach, excellent food and service. We’ll definitely be back!

Estamos en medio de las vacaciones. Excelente TODO! Atención del personal en general,YEIDI q nos limpia la habitación la deja impecable siempre algún detalle con un HOLA, FELIZ DÍA nos deja y es muy amable, mozos del desayuno del almuerzo, cena, siempre con un saludo de bienvenida muy cordial. Los chicos de la barra q está al lado de la heladería siempre con una sonrisa y dispuestos a ofrecerte algún trago. JOAN, un genio. Las chicas de la heladería. Las chicas q te reciben en los restaurantes temáticos, un día tuvimos un inconveniente (nos dieron de baja una reserva, yo no la di de baja! Imagino q fue el mismo q me la reservo ya q no participé de la reunión q me quiso llevar. Los chicos y chicas del staff de animación de la pileta. Chicos y chicas del STAR CAMP, DAURY, ANA,CRIS,REYNA, RUBI, MICAELA, GÉNESIS, palabras de agradecimiento y felicitaciones al Staff, mi hija no dejó un día sin ir. Desayunos almuerzos meriendas y cenas. La comida de primera. Bien acomodado, prolijo, fresco. Instalaciones, estuvimos en una departamento tipo casita. Nos tocó el 73 pensamos q estábamos lejos de todo. Pero nada q ver, tenes todo ahí a no más de 3, 4 minutos de caminata por jardines que están muy lindos. Por donde vallas todo está re lindo. Solo objeto el andar de algunos carritos que llevan y traen gente o transaldan mercadería. Algunos, no todos, andan fuerte. Toallones de playa impecables. Estuve en otras tres cadenas en dominicana y destaco la buena atención de todo el personal de ibero.

Concerns about air conditioning are valid. We had 3 rooms over 2 buildings and all were just comfortable and couldn't get cold air and comfortable enough to sleep good. Maintenance came and said all were working as best they could. In my room, the shower actually drained away from the drain towards the sink and toilet and repeated requests for a fix resulted in housekeeping to put additional towels down on the floor which we had to move and ring out after every shower and still had wet towels on the floor when using the sink after. The employees are awesome! We enjoyed talking with them and how hard they work to make your experience outstanding. We tipped alot and the employees recognized the appreciation. Restaurant reservations were hit and miss as we got hibachi and steakhouse but couldn't get Italian. While at the hibachi and steakhouse neither one was over 50% capacity which questions why reservations aren't easier to come by or who they are holding last minute tables for. The pool area got really busy the days sargassum was bad on the beach. They had tractors out all day removing sargassum on the bad days. Definitely would consider going back as long as rooms were able to be cooled better and a shower like I had actually drains as it's supposed to.

Hotel je naprosto krásný, udržovaný. Služby hotelu byly dokonalé. Na každém rohu bar, snack bar, kde si můžete dát míchané nápoje nebo rum, vodku, pivo, šampus nebo něco na jídlo. Výběr jídla perfektní - sladké, slané, ovoce, zelenina, ryby, maso, těstoviny, pizza prostě vše na co si vzpomenete. Pokoje už jsou trošku starší, zasloužili by si možná trošku větší péči a dost nám smrděl odpad (ale to vždy to paní uklizečka řešila dezinfekcí). Jinak vzdálenost od pokoje NEAR BEACH - skvělá... za minutku jsme byli na pláži. Pláž - nádherná, dostatek lehátek a slunečníků pro ubytované, pláž každý den uklízeli od řas, ale ani v samotném moři s nimi nebyl nějak extra velký problém. Pán, který uklízel pláž se vyhnul našemu postavenému hradu, takže moc děkujeme. Vlny by větší ale i tak se dalo plavat a dovádět. V den odjezdu - autobus na nadraží nám odjížděl až v pět hodin a check out byl do 12. Kufry nám vyzvedlo z pokoje malé autíčko a dovezlo na recepci, kde jsme si je mohli schovat a dál využívat služby hotelu až do odjezdu, před nástupem do autobusu nám náramek ustřihli a my jeli domů :) Za nás naprostá spokojenost a můžeme jen doporučit. Pokud se někdy vrátíme do Dominikánské republiky, už asi jiný hotel hledat nebudeme.
