This is our second stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana, and we will definitely be back. From the moment you arrive, they know how to start your vacation properly. The resort smells fresh and clean, and you are welcomed by a smiling team with sparkling wine and a cold towel after a long travel day. The service continues throughout the stay. Even while relaxing by the pool, the team is attentive without being overwhelming. They will come by with little touches like ice cream or cold towels without you even having to ask. We also really like that there are different pool options depending on your mood. You can have something a little more lively or choose a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, and even the lively pool never feels obnoxious or overwhelming. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. Sargassum is unfortunately a reality throughout the Caribbean, but the resort does a great job keeping the beach clean enough to enjoy a walk or spend time by the ocean. My wife and I are more pool people anyway, so the pools are where we spend most of our time. The beachfront restaurants are another great touch. They are open-air so you can hear the waves and feel the ocean breeze, but they still keep the air conditioning running so you remain comfortable. The food has been wonderful. Order the lobster pasta and you literally get a full lobster with it! Most importantly, the hospitality is excellent. Gregory and Emerson in particular stood out to us. They pay attention to the little things about individual guests, and those small details make the experience feel much more personal. They say “welcome home” here, and they really do make you feel that way. No resort is perfect, but what matters is how a team handles the little imperfections. At Secrets Tides, you are never made to feel like you are the problem. That says a lot about the staff, management and Hyatt. Second visit, and definitely not our last.

It's our last night here at Secrets Tide in the DR. It's been a wonderful experience. Full disclosure, we are big Secrets fans. We find their properties to be well maintained, modern, with great food and first-class hospitality. You can't go wrong with any of the Secrets properties. The Tide was no different. Food at every restaurant was incredible. We highly recommend the skirt steak at the Mexican and Amazonian restaurants. It's rare to find a hotel/resort that can cook a steak to temperature. We also highly recommend the Asian restaurant the sushi is fresh and delicious. There is one buffet, and we recommend that dining option if you want something fast. There are a number of pools for you to choose from. We paid for preferred level, so we were able to enjoy the preferred-only pool. If you're looking to have a great time at the pool, the main resort pool is your choice. Drinks were great, made with top-shelf liquor, and the bartenders are superb. Service was excellent throughout the property. Our butler, Carela, was great. He provided personalized service checking on us daily. No task was too large or too small.

I had an excellent stay at Secrets Tides Punta Cana and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury adults-only getaway. My partner and I stayed in a Junior Suite Swim Out King, which was beautiful and added an extra level of privacy and relaxation to our trip. The resort felt upscale, elegant, and well-maintained throughout our stay. The food and drinks were excellent, with a good variety of options and consistently high quality. One of the things I appreciated most was the atmosphere. This is not a party or "turn-up" resort. Instead, it caters to travelers looking for a more sophisticated, laid-back, and romantic experience. Because the resort had only recently opened during our visit, there weren't as many activities available as there may be now. However, that did not take away from the overall experience. If you're looking for a luxury adults-only resort with a calm atmosphere, great dining, and a romantic setting, Secrets Tides Punta Cana is an excellent choice.

I would to give a shout out to all the crew in the restaurants staff and in the pool side crew like Grandpa who did an amazing job on the morning exercise. I got the best workout in a long time. Take the time for Mr. Francisco at sport bar. He is a hard working man. Rudy in the Amazon restaurant gave an excellent service. Beni was also excellent and Felix was all great. Love the customer service they all gave. I will be back.

The highlights were definitely the modern rooms, excellent food, spotless grounds, and exceptional staff. Tierra was our favorite restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Asian restaurant as well. The pools were clean, spacious, and offered both lively and quiet areas depending on your preference. The resort is extremely well maintained, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to provide friendly and attentive service. A few areas could be improved. The resort app was sometimes inaccurate regarding buffet hours and service requests. We also found it inconvenient that the resort could not exchange Canadian dollars or consistently provide change for larger bills. Lastly, we enjoyed the live entertainment, particularly the instrumental performances. However, the vocal performances were somewhat inconsistent, and we felt the resort atmosphere would benefit from a greater focus on instrumental music. Overall, Secrets Tide delivered a peaceful and enjoyable vacation. We would happily return and recommend it to couples looking for a modern, clean, and relaxing all-inclusive resort.
