My husband and I stayed at Secrets Cap Cana to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and we had an amazing experience. The highlight of our trip was our butler, Alexis. He was outstanding—helping with restaurant reservations, checking in on us throughout our stay, and making sure everything was taken care of. He truly helped make our anniversary special, and we would absolutely request him again on a future visit. The food at every restaurant was excellent, the staff throughout the resort were attentive and friendly, and the nightly entertainment was fantastic. We especially enjoyed Jon Sena from the entertainment team, who brought great energy and fun to the main pool area. We highly recommend upgrading to the Preferred Club for the exclusive pool, premium drinks, and exceptional butler service. While there was some seaweed on the beach during our stay, that’s beyond the resort’s control and did not impact our overall enjoyment. Secrets Cap Cana is a beautiful resort with outstanding service, great dining, and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Wir waren fuenf Tage in einer vergleichbaren all inklusive Anlage in Punta Cana bevor wir gewechselt sind in das Secret somit konnten wir gut vergleichen was wir für unser Geld bekommen haben. Das Secret ist eine sehr schöne Anlage mit einem wunderbaren Strand und top Zimmern. Der Raumservice ist als gut zu bezeichnen und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Im Großen und Ganzen ein guter Urlaub wenn da nicht so viele Dinge gewesen wären die man besser machen kann. Unser Favorit war das Bordeaux Restaurant. Spitzen Service und absolute top Küche. Gefolgt vom Sea food Restaurant. Das kleine Kaffee ist auch zu empfehlen. Nun was uns gar nicht gefallen hat 1. Es gibt nur ein Frühstücks Restaurant bei dem es mit unter zu einer Wait line kommt das sollte so nicht sein. 2. Das ital. Restaurant hat bei uns komplett versagt. Capacicco zäh weil mit der Faser aufgeschnitten und dann noch zu dick, Rinderfilet zu trocken kam mir vor als ob es aufgewärmt wurde. Bedienung wortkarg und etwas genervt 3. ¾ des Personals denen man begegnete grüssten nicht sie wirkten etwas arrogant nach dem Motto sei froh das du hier Urlaub machen kannst, dass hat schon beim einchecken angefangen. Man sollte mehr auf die Personalführung achten und ihnen mitteilen das wir, die Gäste, ihr Gehalt zahlen. Das betrifft nicht Bedienungen, Barkeeper oder Poolmitarbeiter die waren alle sehr freundlich 4. Viel zu wenig Sonnenschirme am Pool. Am letzten Tag haben wir auf den Pool verzichtet weil bei dieser Hitze es unmöglich ist ohne Sonnenschirm. Das Meer war nicht Badegerecht wegen der vielen Algen die angespült wurden, da kann aber das Hotel nichts für und man hat versucht die Plage zu beseitigen was aber in den fuenf Tagen als wir da waren vergebens war. 5. Die Cocktail schmecken zu jeder Uhrzeit anders, jeder Barkeeper hat wohl sein Rezept. Wenn man ein Lieblingscocktail hat ist das sehr traurig. Da sollte man sich mal auf Rezepte einigen Wenn ich nun das Secret mit unserer ersten Anlage vergleiche kommt das Secret nur auf 3 Sterne weil es die genannten Mängel im ersten Hotel das wir besucht haben nicht gab, nicht ein Punkt!

My wife and I first visited Secrets Cap Cana in 2019 when we had just started dating. Since then, we've stayed at several other Secrets resorts throughout the Caribbean, so we were excited to return and see if it was still as special as we remembered. The answer is an easy yes. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were greeted with warm smiles, welcome drinks, and genuine hospitality that continued throughout our stay. Check-in was quick and efficient, and our concierge, Jourdain, was friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything. We stayed in a swim-out suite, which was fantastic and quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and conveniently located near the Coconut Bar. The food exceeded our expectations. Bordeaux was our favorite restaurant. We enjoyed it twice and couldn't resist ordering the French onion soup and filet both times. Portofino was excellent, and Himitsu offered a great à la carte experience. For lunch, the Seaside Grill became our go-to spot. There's something hard to beat about enjoying a great burger with an ocean view and Caribbean breeze. Coco Café was another favorite for morning coffee and afternoon treats. The beach is one of the best we've experienced in Punta Cana. We never had trouble finding chairs, even later in the day, and the drink service was outstanding. The staff constantly worked to manage the seaweed, and while nature doesn't always cooperate, it never impacted our enjoyment of the beach. We also appreciated the lack of beach vendors, which made for a much more relaxing experience. What truly sets Secrets Cap Cana apart is the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, hardworking, and focused on making guests feel at home. Special thanks to Jourdain, Jobelis at Seaside Grill, Jose at the omelet station, the team at Barracuda Beach Bar, and Alvaro at the Coconut Bar for making our stay even more memorable. The grounds were immaculate, the open-air lobby remains one of the most beautiful we've seen, and the overall atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and relaxation. After visiting several other Secrets properties over the years, Secrets Cap Cana remains one of our favorites. It absolutely lived up to our memories, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

This all-inclusive resort is really top-notch! The food was good and the service was incredible (usually). There were so many dining options! (French, Mexican, Buffet, Italian, Steak, Seafood, & Japanese) We were there a week and had a different dining experience every night. Pool staff were very attentive. I kept moving my umbrella to make sure I was in the shade and as soon as I started, an attendant would run over to help. Sometimes servers would walk around with trays of beautiful drinks, and there were buffets, fresh coconuts and crepes by the pools. Music and lots of activities happening in the main pool, but if you want a quiet space, I recommend paying for preferred so you can relax at the peaceful preferred pool. Preferred status also gives you a few more options for dining. Oceana is open for breakfast for preferred guests which is a nice sit-down alternative from the buffet or coffee shop. There is also a bar/restaurant next to the preferred pool that is exclusive. Both pools have lots of umbrellas for shade, cushioned lounge chairs and infinity pool edges looking out over the beach. You really can't swim in the ocean in June because the sargassum is so thick in the water even though the resort does an excellent job removing it from the sand so it doesn't stink in the hot sun. I was worried about mosquitos, but I didn't get a single bite and hubby got about 5 because they love him. We really enjoyed our visit to Secrets Cap Cana.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Secrets. The property was clean, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone we encountered was friendly, polite, and welcoming. There are so many great people working here. While I can’t remember everyone’s name, every single person we interacted with was wonderful—hardworking, humble, and genuinely kind. A special thank you to Alexandria from the coffee shop and Alexander, our assigned concierge, who both made a lasting impression on us. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and we especially appreciated how attentive the staff was in accommodating allergies and dietary needs. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely return!

Nous avons été enchantés par notre séjour de 10 jours dans ce superbe hôtel qui était à la hauteur de nos attentes 🤩 Étions logés en Preferred Club, les chambres idéalement placées sont très confortables, bien équipées et impeccablement entretenues. Tout le confort que l’on pouvait espérer ! Merci à notre majordome Enrique présent mais discret et très professionnel ! Il en est de même pour l’ensemble du personnel qui fait tout pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable! Au niveau de l’hôtel rien à redire… cadre magnifique … tant au niveau des espaces intérieurs que des jardins, des piscines et de la magnifique plage 🏖️ Bien sûr le problème des sargasses est omniprésent… mais l’hôtel met tout en place pour nettoyer au mieux la plage afin d’éviter à ses clients d’être incommodés par ce phénomène malheureusement généralisé aux Caraïbes. Pour ce qui est de la restauration et du service , c’est vraiment du top niveau 👍 Qualité, variété, présentation, service … c’est vraiment du 5 étoiles ⭐️ En résumé un retour très positif sur ce superbe hôtel que nous conseillons fortement !
