Excellent Lunch Buffet Experience! We visited Avani resort for a lunch buffet and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The variety of dishes was impressive, and the food was delicious. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing afternoon, but what truly made our visit memorable was the exceptional service. So specially thank you Roshantha, Nimesh and amashi at the reception lobby. Their warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.

Nous avons choisi cette hotel pour sa proximité de l océan. Hélas on ne peut pas s y baigner. L endroit est isolé et loin de la "ville" a pied. Lorsque l'hotel accueille un mariage ou d autres événements privés, le buffet et l espace se réduisent. La nourriture est néanmoins bonne et les chambres agréables. Le bruit de l océan toujours agréablement present. Donc avis mitigé pour un long séjour

We had a wonderful day out at the hotel. The hotel were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. A special thank you to Nimesh, Nipuna, and Amashi for their outstanding hospitality. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our stay even more memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Avani Hotel. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, the food was absolutely delicious with an excellent variety, and the overall atmosphere made our stay both relaxing and memorable. Wonderful family stay at Avani Resort Kalutara — exceptional Sri Lankan hospitality throughout. Special thanks to Sandushan for last‑minute booking help, Madhushan and Roshantha for the warm welcome, Lakshan for a fun kayaking session, and Rishan and the restaurant team for excellent, varied cuisine. Our Ocean View Pool Suite and adjacent Deluxe Ocean View for our daughters were perfectly located and comfortable. Highly recommended for a friendly, well‑run resort and memorable stay.
