Jetwing Blue is a fantastic beachfront property in Negombo, perfect for both a relaxing getaway or a quick stopover near the airport (only about a 20-25 minute drive). The highlight is definitely the massive pool that opens right onto a wide, sandy stretch of beach—perfect for catching beautiful Sri Lankan sunsets. The rooms are spacious, clean, and offer excellent ocean views. The buffet selection had a great spread of both local Sri Lankan curries and western dishes. Staff service was warm and attentive throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you want comfort right by the sea!

Very nice beachfront property with a relaxed, easy vibe. The location is excellent, right by the beach, and it feels quite peaceful compared to busier stretches. The rooms are spaciou and clean. The in-room dining menu is quite extensive, and it was good to see a decent range of vegetarian options as well. However, one thing to be mindful of—despite booking a Deluxe Sea View room, we were initially given a ground floor room with no real view. It felt like they were trying to cheat. Only after we showed the booking confirmation and requested a change did they move us to the correct room. Something to watch out for during check-in. Another small downside is the lack of proper beachside chairs or umbrellas directly in front of the hotel. That said, the neighboring Jetwing properties (Sea/Beach) have better beach setups, and we ended up using those. Also, considering the slightly high price, the overall value for money feels slightly questionable. Overall, a comfortable stay with great rooms and location, but with a few service and value gaps to be aware of.

A luxurious beach resort, great hospitality. Spent 3 nights here lazying out on our last leg of SriLanka trip. They have a large, clean pool amd direct access to the beach. The breakfast spread is great but did not see a full buffet spread over dinner . It was mostly a fixed menu. They can improve on their in-room dining menu. Things that can be improved : 1. Children play area. They don’t have children play area. Need something to keep a toddler busy when the Sun is hot over the pool. 2. The iron box locked to the board ! It is such a pain to use the iron with a lock . Whatever experience has forced you to lock it , it is not worth it. 3. Please add more items to your in-room dining menu.

We recently dined at Jetwing Blue for both dinner and the breakfast buffet while staying at Jetwing Beach Hotel, which is conveniently located next door. Both buffets were excellent, offering a wide variety of Sri Lankan and international dishes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a great selection of traditional Sri Lankan drinks and fruits in the cold section, including bitter gourd juice, beli juice, and veralu. It was also great to see a dedicated kids’ corner at the buffet, which makes it very convenient for families. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The manager regularly checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying the food and service, which was a nice personal touch. He even offered us freshly tapped coconut toddy from a coconut tree, which was a unique and memorable experience. The pricing was very reasonable, and the location right by the beautiful Negombo beach made the experience even more enjoyable.

We came for the day package: swim, lunch and tea. Pleasant location and facilities albeit a little dated. Lunch was probably a 6/10 somewhat tasty but not amazing set menu. We had a good day.

We booked this stay through a last-minute Room Rush offer and were upgraded to a Super Deluxe room, as the standard deluxe rooms were unavailable. Though slightly pricier, it was well worth it, with nice big bathtub with foam & salt. We arrived around 28 June 2026 12:30 PM on a busy Sunday, with heavy check-in/check-out traffic and buffet walk-ins. Despite the rush, we were warmly welcomed and seated promptly. Mr. Akila at reception completed our check-in in under 10 minutes and escorted us to the buffet. The buffet had a good variety of food, and the seating area (non-AC) was comfortable. What truly made the experience memorable was the outstanding service—everyone from reception to chefs, waitstaff, and housekeeping was courteous, attentive, and helpful. Great location, nice pool, delicious food, and exceptional hospitality made this one of the best experiences we've had in a long time. Highly recommended!
