Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im The Calm Resort in Pasikuda. Unser Bungalow war wirklich schön und besonders der Pool direkt am Bungalow sowie der schöne Blick aufs Meer haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Service war durchweg sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Auch die Poollandschaft hat uns sehr gut gefallen und die Poolbar lädt wunderbar dazu ein, bei einem Drink zu entspannen. Ein echtes Highlight ist außerdem der wunderschöne, weitläufige Strand. Das Meer ist hier sehr ruhig und angenehm zum Baden. Das Frühstücks und Abendbuffet war eher westlich geprägt und entspricht dem, was man von einem klassischen Resort Buffet erwartet. Die Auswahl war entsprechend vielseitig, aber wer authentisch sri lankisches Essen sucht, findet dieses hier eher weniger. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wirklich schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt im The Calm Resort. Wer einen klassischen Resort Urlaub mit schönem Strand, Pool, gutem Service und viel Ruhe sucht, ist hier definitiv richtig aufgehoben. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! 🌴☀️

🇱🇰🇱🇺We had a pleasant stay at Calm Resort & Spa. The location is beautiful, with direct access to the beach, and the food was good. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and had a nice experience with our family. We booked a triple room, but there was also a temporary extra bed provided. However, there were only two cups in the room, even though we were a group of four, including two children. Small details like this can make a big difference, especially for a hotel aiming to maintain a 5-star standard. I also feel the reception team could improve their service and attention to guests’ needs. The hotel has a lot of potential, and with better attention to these small details and more consistent service, it could provide a truly 5-star experience. The location and beach access are definitely highlights, and we hope to see these improvements on our next visit.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Calm Resort & Spa! From the moment we arrived, the service was truly top-notch. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and professional — they make sure everything is perfectly handled without leaving room for even minimum error. The cleanliness throughout the property is exceptional. The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. The food is simply amazing — delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. What truly sets this place apart is its stunning beach location — easily one of the best in Pasikudah. Calm, beautiful, and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a flawless and relaxing beachside experience!

Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Die Zimmer sind wirklich super und schön eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber. Unverschämt fanden wir aber die Preise für Essen und Getränke. Hier werden europäische Preise verlangt, aber nicht abgeliefert. Wir mussten auf die Cocktails sowie auf das Essen sehr lange warten, obwohl nichts los war. Die Pommes waren kalt, was wir reklamiert hatten und neue bekamen. Das Personal ist zwar bemüht und nett, aber leider nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Absolut unverschämt finden wir, dass auf die Preise in der Speisekarte die Steuern drauf kommen (+30%). Das ist in Sri Lanka nicht üblich und wird nur dort so gemacht. Wir sind lieber auswärts ins Restaurant essen, das war Preis Leistung deutlich besser. Das Frühstück war okay, jeden Tag allerdings das Gleiche. Hier erwarten wir in dieser Preiskategorie zumindest etwas Abwechslung. Wir waren in deutlich günstigern Hotels in Sri Lanka, die insgesamt mehr ablieferten. Schade!!

A Truly Wonderful Stay at Calm Resort We had a truly exceptional experience at Calm Resort! Just as the name suggests, the resort offers a wonderfully calm, peaceful, and relaxing environment—perfect for taking a break and enjoying some quality time. The customer service was excellent, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the great amenities provided. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable. A special thank you to the restaurant staff, especially Supervisor Vinithraj, along with the other trainees who were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. Their warm hospitality and excellent service truly made our stay even more memorable. Thank you, Calm Resort, for such a pleasant and relaxing experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! ❤️✨

Nice hotel in Passikuda. The pool was a bit murky while we were there but cleared up on the last day. The food options are identical across the beach bar and buffet restaurant but there are other hotels along the strip so there are a few options. There’s not a huge amount to do in the area so good for a few days of chill in the calm waters. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. On site laundry was a bonus and fairly priced
