What a fabulous hotel. Everything we wanted from our holiday and more ! We were a family of 11 .... each one of us had a brilliant time. Excellent serice from the restaurant staff Keerthi is just one name among so many. The breakfast selection was amazing. We had the Sri Lankan buffet one evening .... to be recommended. The poolside staff kept us well hydrated ..... even at 2.30am while watching the World Cup at 2.30am on the big screen. Denis Kara not only looked after our room well but also left a different towel sculpture each day ! We loved the spa treatments .... and the amazing afternoon tea . What a welcome on arrival !! Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Arshad and Kerveesh and everyone else

Excellent hotel, we would thoroughly recommend. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They were the only hotel in Sri Lanka that managed to get me decafinated coffee. Thanks so much for the effort you put in. The rooms are lovely and we were lucky enough to get a room upgrade with a beautiful view. The food and service in the restaurant were exceptional. The hotel was very chilled and relaxing. On our busy 2 weeks holiday we spent the most time here chilling after doing a lot of travelling. Thank for making our stay so memorable. We would highly recommend.

Our stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah was truly exceptional. The resort is beautifully maintained, with spacious rooms, a stunning beachfront location, and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always making us feel welcome. The food was excellent, offering a great variety of local and international dishes. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka. No regrets choosing Sun Siyam Pasikuda for our family holiday! We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom Pool Beach Villa with a private pool pavilion on a full board meal plan and had a wonderful experience. The resort is an absolute haven. The property is beautiful, and the staff service was consistently excellent. Special thanks to General Manager Arshed and his team for making our stay so memorable. We particularly appreciated: Pabalu and Kapil for the smooth and friendly check-in and check-out Dilshan from Housekeeping, who kept our villa spotless and was always helpful with any requests. Kaveesha from Guest Relations, who helped arrange a special dinner on our second night that was truly memorable The restaurant team, especially Suba, Rumesh and the rest of the boys, were outstanding. They were attentive, warm, and ensured we were well taken care of during every meal. That said, there is room for improvement on the F&B side. The variety and layout of the buffet could be better, especially the desserts section, which was quite weak. Basic things like tea/coffee stations were also missing, which felt surprising for a resort of this standard. The food overall was not quite up to the mark compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic family holiday thanks to the beautiful property and genuinely approachable, caring staff. Arshed is a proactive GM who is always present and focused on guest satisfaction. Highly recommended!

the place is the best place on earth i personally think it’s the best place but there is only one problem the power outlet is not working i need to punch the plug in just to charge my phone and apple ipad and near the bed there are large lamps on the wall but when it is onand you touch the under it you can ger electric shock of 200-250 volt and kill yourself and the main pool has rocks everywhere in the kids area i strach my leg

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah with our family. The hospitality extended by the entire team was truly exceptional and made our visit incredibly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. As vegetarians, we were especially impressed by the customized food options prepared with great care and attention to detail. Every meal was a delight! The team was also very flexible and generous with services, including spa arrangements, extended stay support, and thoughtful upgrades, which we deeply appreciated. The Avurudu celebrations were a highlight — the entertainment was vibrant, well-organized, and added a special cultural touch to our stay. What stood out most was how well the entire team worked together — so synchronized, warm, and genuinely welcoming. From junior staff to senior management, everyone was approachable and made us feel completely at home. A special thank you to GM Mr. Arshed, Front Office Manager Mr. Farhan, Restaurant Manager Mr. Keerthi, along with Mr. Rukshan and Mr. Kaveesha for their outstanding service and personal attention throughout our three-day stay. We highly recommend Sun Siyam Pasikudah to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway with top-notch hospitality. We will definitely be returning!
