My experience at the Grand Hyatt Muscat was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is extremely expensive, yet the quality and service do not justify the price at all. In many situations it felt difficult to get even simple things arranged. Staff often responded that things were “not possible,” and it required unnecessary discussion just to resolve basic requests. Another issue for me was that the hotel did not feel Muslim-friendly. This made the stay uncomfortable compared to what I expected in Muscat. What stood out most was that the lowest-paid staff members were actually the most kind and helpful people in the hotel. Unfortunately, the overall attitude in the hotel felt quite arrogant, as if it relies on its reputation rather than actual quality. Cleanliness was also not at the level you would expect from a hotel that positions itself as one of the best in Muscat. Overall, this stay felt like a waste of money. I will not return, and based on my experience I cannot recommend staying here.

The Grand Hyatt is a beautiful hotel - Beautiful hotel nice and comfortable. very good breakfast, the qualified and polite staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. when you walk in you're met with high ceilings, impressive giant stained-glass windows overlooking the pool, a statue of a horseman holding a falcon... it's traditional and comfortable. It's also family friendly - the pool is a good size with a lazy river around the outside and there's a separate child's pool, plus water fountains and a wooden ship for climbing. The staff and service were absolutely brilliant - extremely helpful, kind with our baby, engaged and a pleasure to interact with.

الخدمه عندهم جداااا سيئه اول مره اشوف فندق يطرد زباينه بطريقه غير مباشره!!! ياكثر كوفيهات الفنادق اللي رحناها ولا احد سوا لنا كذا وتعاملهم جدا جميل لكن سبحان الله هذا الفندق سيئ لابعد درجه وحتى الموظفين العمانيين نفسيه ورافعين خشمهم على اي اساس ترفع خشمك؟ ترا اقصاك موظف بفندق وفوق هذا رافع خشمه🤣

We stayed here 31st May - 2nd June for a few days of rest inbetween visiting family here and WOW. From the moment we stepped into the hotel grounds, every staff member we came across was polite and always so helpful. The check in lady was so warm and welcoming. The gentleman that showed us to our room again very warm and welcoming. The room was of good size, perfect for 2 adults. Lots of space and the bathroom was huge!! The staff in the main concourse cafe were very polite and always on hand! I had probably the BEST chicken Caesar salad I have ever had and my mum had the chicken club sandwich which she said also was the best! The breakfast options were tasty and delicious...So many options covering a wide variety of country specialities! The pastries were to die for! The swimming pool and staff were incredible!! Me and my mum have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely will recommend to anyone!

Das Essen I’m Toscana ist perfect. Das Rindfilet war auf den Punkt gebraten. Den Jus dazu, eine Wonne. Am Liebsten hätte ich drin gebadet. Die Reduktion perfekt. Einfach nur zum niederknien und geniessen. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da muss ich wieder hingehen. Das Ambiente auf der Terrasse einmalig. Es plätschern Springbrunnen in wechselnden Farben. Wie romantisch. Genau, für verliebte zugeschnitten. Dieser Italienische Koch versteht sein Handwerk👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏💜

Beautiful hotel, especially the lobby and newly refurbished pool area. My room was a little dated but generous in size, spotlessly clean and more than comfortable. All the staff I encountered were very helpful, friendly and kind. The butter chicken in Mokha was delicious and the food by the pool was tasty too. I loved the location as it was lovely to have access to the beach and be able to walk to nearby restaurants and cafes and watch the incredible sunset too. My only complaint and it's a minor one - was that there weren't enough sockets in the bedroom & I had to move some furniture to access plugs (especially to dry my hair near a mirror) - phone charging ports by the beds would be great too. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise excellent experience. I'd happy choose this hotel again. I very much enjoyed my stay.
