We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the db san antonio. I have to say we have been doing all inclusive holidays for over 20 years and the food here is some of the best. The additional 5 speciality restaurants are amazing. I think Rivaj needs a special mention the food was exceptional and Susmita was a wonderful addition a very kind cheerful girl, who served our table so well. A lot of the staff stand out here. They work so hard and always manage a cheerful disposition. Dominic, Puskav, Arnaud in the hotel dining room is second to none and really wants to make your experience a good one. Our room was spotless. Towels changed, beds made every day thanks to Monika. Overall I cannot fault this hotel, the pool areas are great,lower level pool for kids and families, The entertainment team are fantastic and the infinity pool was peaceful and relaxing for adults only. The sky bar is beautiful for drinks day and night with stunning views of St. Paul's Bay up on level 10. Thanks to everyone in DB san Antonio for making this a wonderful holiday.

You always take a gamble when you book a hotel despite all the research you can do. The DB San Antonio was well worth the effort and lived up to all the factors we considered. Based in St Paul’s in Malta, it’s a very good location to the seafront where there is a number of bars and restaurants down the road all giving the option of wonderful sunset views. The hotel itself is just over 10 years old and is incredibly smart and clean. We had a family room which was excellent in terms of layout and allowed us to get away with 1 room despite having older teenagers. Always clean, the facilities were excellent with a good pool layout. It is obviously very child friendly with a great entertainment team, but what we said whilst sitting round the pool was given how busy it was, there was always plenty of sunbeds and it never felt like we were crowded. The All Inclusive element provided great pool bar and restaurant options and there was always a great variety of choice at the standard restaurant which I would say was high quality. However, what made our holiday truly special is we had taken the risk of upgrading to the hotels AI plus package. We were incredibly thankful for this decision as the service we received and the extras we got as a result was as good as anything I’ve experienced having travelled to many hotels over the years. Special mention should be made to Sree, Puji, Rekha and Dembo whose dedication and unending friendliness was exceptional and a credit to the hotel for the staff they employ. We certainly put their patience to the test with all the coffees and cocktails we requested! I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone thinking of coming whether as a family with small kids or a couple who want to use it as a base to see Malta. Finally, for those fitness fanatics, the gym facilities are second to none with new equipment and an indoor pool. All in all, thank you for making a memorable holiday for us all.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. From the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facilities were spotless, and the food selection was diverse and delicious every single day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and professional staff. Everyone was always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. We would especially like to thank Maroune, Jolanta, Nicolle, Kate, Madan and Polish receptionist Angela for their outstanding service, warm attitude, and genuine hospitality. I really appreciate having a Polish-speaking receptionist — it made our stay much more comfortable. They made us feel truly welcome and special throughout our entire stay. We are extremely grateful for such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect all-inclusive vacation. We will definitely come back!

on arrival, the hotel was beautiful and elegant with very welcoming staff. there were 2 staff at the reception (Nicolle and jasmin) who welcomed me and my family with pleasure and kindness. We even had a laugh which was was warming. When we arrived to the rooms, they were spacious/clean which was good with a balcony which you could see the nice views from. I met a person called Aamir by the pool side and had our first conversation. He was a polite/kind person who you could banter with well and cares for your wellbeing. all in all the place was great, the food was nice, just wish there were different varieties at the lowest floor of the restaurants.

I stayed in this hotel for 10 days. I will start out by saying this hotel from start to finish was a very positive experience. There was a few hiccups with my room (first room air-con wasn’t working and then was moved into a family conjoined room and could hear next door). Shaira on reception was an absolute pleasure to deal with and found a room for me which was absolutely perfect. The food in the hotel was beautiful, we ate in the speciality restaurants which we could not fault. The Mexican/ Moroccan restaurant was a favourite. Such a variety of food which is always great to see. Plenty of choices but yet the food was cooked nicely. Ive been to AI hotels before and the food was never as good as this hotel. Two things that stood out to me was the cleanliness around the pool/ the hotel and also the staff. The staff were brilliant, friendly and attentive. The animation crew were fantastic, they were always so engaging with everyone and looked like they really enjoy their jobs. Ben on the bar was great, made fantastic cocktails. The only improvements I will suggest is that the hotel is quite dated, it needs a revamp/ freshen up. The pool area is very crowded. The pools are not big enough for the volume of people. A big thing was sun beds, people had them reserved for ages and not moved leaving some people not being able to get them. I would also suggest getting more parasols, they were limited but any bit of a breeze, the staff around the area made everyone put them down. Getting more suitable ones to handle the wind would be better. The beach access is not the most convenient, its a bit of a walk. I would say the beach is nice, no loungers are reserved for hotel users and have to be rented for the day. Access to the sea includes going down steps so anyone with mobility issues might be an issue. I got a massage by Maya at the spa, no complaints. She was incredible at the massage. Felt very comfortable and relaxed. Overall this hotel was nice. The main points being the food was beautiful and how attentive/ nice the staff were.

A great hotel in St Paul's Bay. Stunning views across the sea, and a brilliant location for getting around. We loved the welcoming, friendly and efficient check-in. The hotel lobby is very impressive and the hotel public areas are very clean and comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious lots of hanging space. Room cleaned daily. The themed restaurants are excellent. We tried the Asian, The Mediterranean and South American and loved all of them! Most restaurants are on the roof deck on the 10th floor so views across the sea are spectacular. There is a great adults only roof deck bar which is free for all inclusive guests 10am til 6pm serving ice cold cocktails, beers and wines. The main buffet restaurant is very big and has a great selection to choose from. Food is constantly replenished so it was always fresh, hot and tasty. There is also a barbecue on the ground floor by the main pools from lunchtime onwards . We didn't try it but it looked popular and food looked great. We loved the little coffee lounge near reception serving great lattes, speciality coffees, teas wines beers and pastries etc. We could not fault this hotel for the quality of the service and the food and drinks. The entertainment was okay but catered more for families with kids. We loved tge Adukts only infinity pool on the roof deck and there is an adults only section in the main buffet restaurant which is good if you want to get away from the hussle and buddle as we did. We loved our stay here definitely has some 5 star elements and we woukd highly recommend here. It gets very busy this time of year so I would probably come slightly lower season
