Extremely Disappointing Stay at Dynasty Resort, Kuta We stayed at Dynasty Resort in Kuta as two families with two children, and honestly, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had in Bali. Almost everything felt like a money grab. Even simple pool toys were not provided and had to be purchased. The water slide looks impressive because it is long, but it has almost no speed, so halfway down you end up pushing yourself with your hands just to get moving. The ping-pong table in the kids’ room was never available during our five-day stay; every time we asked, we were told some program was using it. The same story applied to everything else: if you want to use anything, you have to pay extra. The kids’ movie was not free either, which was ridiculous. The service throughout the resort was poor and disorganized, and nothing felt welcoming or guest-friendly. Breakfast was another letdown — very limited selection, and to make it worse, even coffee was charged separately. I have visited Bali five times, and this was the first time I have ever been asked to pay for breakfast coffee. The final insult came on checkout day. Our flight was in the evening, so we wanted to enjoy the pool a little longer after checking out. We only asked to leave our luggage and use a shower before leaving, but even that came with an extra charge. Most hotels allow guests to use basic facilities like showers on departure day, but not here. Overall, this resort was far below expectations and felt cheap in all the wrong ways. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before booking this hotel.

We had a great stay back in May with the three kids for 5 nights. The trip was almost a disaster due to miscommunication of booking between booking.com, their intermediary and the hotel, the wrong room type was sent to Dynasty and on check-in we were not allocated the room we had booked and paid for through booking.com. Booking.com online support was absolutely useless. A big thanks to Front Desk Manager Resa and the team at Dynasty for helping with this directly. Dynasty helped smooth over what could have been an ongoing ordeal and really made the holiday smoother to benefit the guest and have a smooth experience. Very grateful for this. Dynasty was an excellent location for us, we had done Ubud and Nuse Lembongan beforehand. Resort was family friendly, good pool for the kids and excellent to have the Lagoon pool option. Good food options for breakfast and dinners. Bigger kids 10 and 9 were probably a touch too old to enjoy the kids club more fully and Mr 3 was a touch too young for some of the activities but we still had fun. We all loved seeing big mumma Coco walking around and the small touches in the room for the kids was great as well. Good location to walk around for shopping and activities. We paid for extra late checkout on the day of our night flight which was great to have full access and made packing our bags for home so much easier. Never use booking.com they are terrible.

This place is amazing. So many activities and fun with lots of amazing restaurants and pools. Like H2O, that was amazing those themed nights amazing. And the rooms were great but just a tad bit worse than the other stuff still very exceptional rooms. Service. The service was great we got food and drinks very fast. And the location was beautiful. Great view from the second floor of rooms and third floor. If you want a nice, relaxed hotel that has a lot of activities and fun come here.

What a great resort... we booked 2 hotels for our stay with the dynasty being 2nd to take advantage of its proximity to waterbom Park. After reading some review in the lead up we were worried. But those reviews lacked context.... yes its an older resort but rooms were very will appointed, we had interconnecting room for 2 adults and 3 kids. No cheap trundle but a proper bed was there for no.3 so no fighting over beds. Another review mentioned additional charges for the kids movie night... yes but they left out that they have a buffet dinner for the kids and its 3hrs of child care to let us parents get away, kids loved it and it was a nice break for us, 160k per child, well worth it, wish they had it on every night... prices at the resort are no different to any other. Some complained about being charged for coffee at breakfast, this is for espresso coffee only and only 25k, I travel a bit and espresso coffee is rarely free and about $2aud for a coffee is cheap. Breakfasts do get busy but in the resort book they helpfully outline the busy periods, and even then the staff are so accommodating to get you seated, they turn around tables very quickly. The pools were great, heaps to explore and the kids area has a big slide the kids loved the slide and also variety. The best part was the kids club, 2x 7yr olds and an 11yr old and they all loved it, the activities were good but the staff were amazing. So in summary, this place was a big unknown for us and ended up being the highlight, 100% recommend for families as the kids club staff and facilities are amazing. Kids have fun and adults can relax.

The rooms were spacious for a family of 4, however there was this unbelievable sewage like smell originating from the bathroom. Breakfast was disappointing with several of the buffet items cold. The coffee served was poor, and it was hugely surprising that a 5 star hotel could not provide better coffee within the breakfast package. We ate at the indian restaurant, were several items were unavailable. My party ate a pau bhaji at lunch where the food was stale and cold. After speaking with the chef, they finally admitted the dish was from the prior day. Absolutely shocking. The food at the Italian was better, but the bread in the bruschetta was hard and stale. We enjoyed the ravioli and aubergine. Strawberries with chocolate was also a hit. The kids swimming pool was for younger children and the main pool was 2 metres, so it was difficult for the kids to be entertained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good with lots of food and massage outlets outside.

Always Love the Vibe! The Best Family Resort in BaliI have stayed at Bali Dynasty Resort several times, including during Nyepi a few years ago. The food here is absolutely delicious, and the taste never disappoints! The pool area is always lively and bustling with kids playing, which creates a very cheerful atmosphere. I truly love the overall vibe and ambiance of this resort.
