We visited in May of this year and it has taken me a little while to write my review but this wonderful resort will be in my memory for a long time! Visiting with a young toddler and at a stressful time we had nothing but kindness and care from the wonderful staff, from the upgrade on arrival to a truly luxurious suite and amazing customer service to the lovely food, idyllic surrounds, to the baby playroom. We are so pleased to have stayed.

I loved this place! We stayed here for our honeymoon and honestly I couldn't think of a better place to stay. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. Upon entering the resort we had loevely welcome drinks. We booked a balinese massage and it was DIVINE! Most especially after being on an 18hr flight. The food was magnificent from breakfast all through to dinner. When we wanted to go on a coffee tour but not sure where the staff organised for us to go on a tour nearby and it did not disappoint. The drivers they use were amazing. We were staying in Amed after Ubud and their driver had taken us to some beautiful spots on route which made a day of travel feel like a private excursion. The rooms are very large. Despite being so close to the centre the resort offers a tranquil vibe and a lot of peace. I'd agree with another comment suggesting the lighting is dim, near the sinks or vanity desk of recommend white lighting (especially for doing makeup!). If I could request Ubud Village Resort could add anything, it would be a bar in the evening away from the restaurant. Thank you so much for having us! You made our honeymoon truly unforgettable ❤️

I stayed at Ubud Village Resort for eight nights on my honeymoon with my wife, and the only word to describe our stay is exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was warm, friendly, and always happy to help, making our stay even more memorable. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options that changed each day. Enjoying breakfast while overlooking the beautiful rice fields and the resort was the perfect way to start every morning. Our villa was spotless and very well maintained. While the décor isn't ultra-modern, it was elegant, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with every amenity you could need for a relaxing stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon in Bali so special. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend Ubud Village Resort to anyone visiting Ubud.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. Its location is wonderful, set back from the hub-bub of Ubud, but with easy access to everything. All the facilities - room, pool, restaurant - are perfect. And all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

This was our first destination for our honeymoon and I honestly don’t even have words to fully describe how magical this place is. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had entered paradise. Everything was beyond perfect — the villa was spectacular, spotless, and felt like a dream. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail was incredible. The spa was absolutely amazing — I went three times during our five-day stay and every treatment was pure relaxation and luxury. The restaurant was outstanding too. We tried many different dishes, both in the restaurant and in our villa, and everything was delicious. We even had a romantic dinner set up in our private villa, which was unforgettable. What truly made this place special was the staff. The service was on another level — so polite, warm, and caring. Every time we left the villa and came back, even for just a few minutes, they greeted us like royalty and made us feel so welcome. It honestly felt like being part of a family. I have travelled around the world and I have never experienced hospitality like this before. They truly did everything in their power to make our stay perfect — and it was. After experiencing this level of excellence, I honestly feel that every other place we will visit will struggle to meet our expectations. They truly raised the bar for luxury, comfort, and service. This place will always have a special place in my heart. It was more than a resort, it was an experience, a dream, and the perfect start to our honeymoon. Thank you for making our stay so magical 🤍

First impression and location A truly beautiful place. It is almost surreal how you leave the busy street and suddenly enter a calm, expansive property surrounded by stunning rice field views. It feels like its own peaceful world, completely removed from the hustle and bustle. The resort is quite large, and it took us a couple of days to fully orient ourselves. Villa and comfort Our villa was spacious, well equipped, and very comfortable. Everything you would expect was there. The only downside was a leak in the room, but aside from that the villa itself was lovely. There is some construction happening during the day, but it is barely noticeable and did not disturb us at all. The resort remained peaceful, and we slept very well throughout our stay. Staff and service The staff were consistently friendly, warm, and helpful. From check in to daily interactions, everyone made an effort to be accommodating and attentive. We were also allowed to check in earlier than planned, which was incredibly helpful, especially travelling with a baby. Food and room service The food was great, and the team was very attentive to my dietary intolerances, including gluten and lactose, which I really appreciated. Room service was excellent as well. Orders arrived quickly and were ideal on days when it was easier and more convenient to eat in the villa with a baby. Facilities The outdoor pool was a lovely place to relax and perfect for spending time with our little one in the water. We had one massage at the spa, which was okay but not particularly memorable. The gym was very outdated, which was disappointing, as we had hoped to use it more. One visit was enough to put us off returning to the gym. Extras and convenience We used the resort’s partner bike rental service. It is almost double the price you would pay elsewhere, but the convenience of having the bikes delivered and collected directly from the resort made it worthwhile. Overall experience A peaceful, luxurious stay and a real treat to ourselves. With excellent service, great food, and a very relaxing atmosphere, it is a wonderful option in Ubud. With some improvements to maintenance details and the gym, it could easily be exceptional.
