Our experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected at this price point. 1. The A/C in our villa was broken. For two full days, staff denied the issue until finally admitting the unit didn’t work and relocating us. 2. The food was very poor – both in quality and value. The main restaurant, which is outdoors (with no airflow), served overpriced meals at $200–$300 per person, all while you’re sweating into your plate. Even the purified drinking water tasted off. 3. The service was unacceptable. We repeatedly asked for baby food to be delivered from the nearest island – a simple request that was ignored. I eventually had to take a boat myself to buy essentials, with no support from staff, while our baby was already out of food. 4. The island itself showed signs of neglect, with multiple broken appliances and poorly maintained facilities. Sadly, this was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had – made worse by the lack of accountability and care.

A place we’ll never forget – pure magic 💍✨ We visited Six Senses Seychelles as part of our engagement trip (Oct. 2021) – my husband proposed during our helicopter flight to the island. From that moment on, everything felt like a dream. Our villa was spotless, private and beautifully designed. The butler service was flawless – discreet, attentive, and always one step ahead. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every detail was thoughtful and elegant. The entire resort radiates peace and natural beauty. Known for its barefoot luxury and focus on sustainability, Six Senses offers a rare sense of privacy and connection to nature. We think back to our stay with full hearts – this place will always be part of our story.

Honestly, our stay was pretty underwhelming. The island is beautiful, no doubt amazing beach, views and nature and a few of the staff were really sweet and helpful, which we appreciated. Things were already messy before we even got there. My husband is a Royal Ambassador with IHG, which means we should get 4pm late check-out guaranteed. We emailed the hotel a few times, barely got a reply. IHG even contacted them directly to confirm the benefit, but when we checked in, it still wasn’t arranged. We had to message the GEM multiple times and follow up again and again till they finally sorted it out. The biggest issue was how all over the place the service was. Wrong food orders more than once, buggy problems, barely any beach service and spa appointments were all mixed up. Even when we wrote things clearly, they still got confused. Also, the food just wasn’t great compared to other Six Senses we’ve been to. In the end, it just didn’t feel like a real Six Senses experience. If you’re after a regular 5-star stay, maybe it’s fine. But if you’re expecting the kind of smooth, top-notch service Six Senses is known for, it’ll disappoint.

We recently stayed at Six Senses Zil Pasyon for our honeymoon and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations for a hotel at this price point. First, the age of the 10 year old property is very noticeable. The rooms feel heavily worn and overused many things don’t function as smoothly as they should. Even the bed very tired and tilted, like it hasn’t been properly refreshed in a long time. Second, the in-room amenities (shampoo, body lotion, coffee, etc.) were surprisingly low quality. For a luxury resort, this felt like unnecessary cost-cutting and didn’t match the standard you would expect. Lastly, the service was below par. The staff didn’t seem engaged or motivated, and it showed in the overall experience. Overall, this was a disappointing stay for such a premium and expensive resort, and it did not reflect the level of quality you would expect. Felt like a 3 star Mercure resort.

We had an exceptionally memorable stay at Six Senses, made truly special by the outstanding people. The entire Six Senses team is highly trained and consistently professional. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Gary and his team, followed by a comprehensive orientation from Rodney in Guest Relations, who played a key role in making our stay unforgettable. Rodney is a charming young man with a genuine passion for his work; he checked in on us throughout our stay and ensured we always felt welcomed and well cared for. We also received excellent service from Janine at breakfast and Jill at dinner—both were friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. Robin was equally wonderful; he was approachable, knowledgeable, and provided valuable insight into the tides and the best times to kayak to Île Coco. We will certainly be returning and will be encouraging our family in the United States to visit as well. Our sincere thanks to the entire Six Senses team, including those not mentioned by name, for making our stay so memorable.

An amazing stay for our honeymoon, which exceeded our expectations. The room and views were exceptional, as was the food, drinks and overall service. We cannot wait to come back
