Stayed here with my family and had a very pleasant experience. We received a warm welcome from Nora, who was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large beds. There was also a refrigerator stocked with drinks and a kettle in the room, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was clean as well. The only small issue is that the bathroom door does not have a lock, so if you are travelling with children, just give them a little warning. :) The breakfast was spacious, fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of variety. There is free parking under the hotel. Overall, a great stay and definitely recommended. Exactly the quality and hospitality I have come to expect from Novotel.

From the moment I arrived, Radosten and the entire team welcomed me like royalty. Their professionalism and warmth set the tone for an exceptional stay. The suite was simply outstanding — a true apartment, spacious, modern, and equipped with absolutely every comfort imaginable. It offered the perfect balance between luxury and practicality, making my stay remarkably pleasant. Breakfast was excellent as well, with a wide selection and great quality throughout. Another major advantage: the disabled parking spot located right in front of the hotel, making access incredibly easy and stress‑free. As a member of the Accor network, I can confidently say that all hotels in the group should aspire to this level of service. The value for money was exceptional, far above expectations for a hotel in this category. In short, Novotel Sofia delivers comfort, hospitality, and convenience at the highest level. Highly recommended.

My family and I arrived at the Novotel Sofia a bit late. After exhausting couple of flights, what a great pleasure to find the hotel in a great location, with super clean and pleasant rooms and 1with all necessary amenities. However, the most important part of this review is about Simeon. What a great guy! He was professional, knowledgeable and ready to help with a proactive approach for problem-solving. Thank you Simeon for being an awesome guy and an absolute level-setter for the Novotel's business!

The location is great, just next to a big shopping centre with choices of restaurants and shops, and supermarkets. Room size is good, clean and spacious, with water stations on each level. Gym is great (spacious and with equipment)and with steam room. Breakfast is plentiful and service is good. What stands out most is the professional service of Nora in the front desk: she is patient, helpful and friendly, with good customer service attitude. We have a very pleasant stay ! Will recommend to anyone.

This hotel is like a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was courteous and professional, and the kind folks in the restaurant even brought a giant teddy bear to our table for our little daughter, a really nice gesture. The restaurant was very nice and clean, and the continental breakfast was definitely up there - plenty of choices and it tasted great. The hotel has a really cool looking bar right next to the lobby area, though I can’t speak to the quality of drinks or service as the universe conspired against us on the sole evening we were there and we did not get to sit down and try it. The rooms are really cool, we stayed in an executive room that had a fantastic view towards the city center and the Vitosha mountain. The bath has a really cool glass pane that is electrically-dimmable with the touch of a button! The carpet is the only thing that did not do any justice to the otherwise great design and decor, as it was shriveled up a bit everywhere. I attribute this to the way they built the subfloor, it just feels a bit flimsy and it creaks when you walk on it, but I consider this a minor issue that does not put a big dent on the otherwise great vibe of the hotel. Finally, the location is great as it affords quick access to the airport, the city center, and highway Trakiya (A1) if you’re off to the Black Sea coast. The hotel sits right next to a large indoor shopping mall, where you will find a large grocery store and a huge kids play area (Capella Play). We will definitely stay here again when in Sofia and I recommend you do the same!

I'd recommend avoiding this place. I booked a room, which was confirmed. I was then later told that due to the exceptionally high demand during my selected travel period, they require full prepayment for all bookings and will charge my credit card - which was against the booking conditions, but fine. Then later on I got a message to say that my reservation was cancelled at my request - which was completely untrue as I didn't cancel it. When I challenged to ask why they cancelled, I was told that they don't have the physical capacity to accommodate my reservation - which is clearly nonsense as they accepted my reservation in the first place.
