Il B&B è accogliente e in posizione, seppur periferica, molto comoda perché a circa 8 minuti a piedi c'è la fermata della metro di superficie che, in mezz'ora, porta a Londra centro e in un'ora (bus diretto) a London Stansted Airport. Il quartiere è semplice ma molto pulito e pieno di negozi e di ristoranti ebraici molto semplici e con prezzi certamente normali se paragonati a quelli di Londra centro. Dicasi lo stesso per i minisupermarket aperti 24/24h. La notte sembra un luogo sicuro quand'anche rumoroso. É accanto a una Sinagoga. Il B&B ha diverse tipologie di camere da quanto abbiamo capito. A noi è stata data una doppia (la 42) con letti puliti e nuovi. Il personale ha fatto le pulizie ogni giorno. In camera c'era sia una teiera e un minifrigo sia una cassaforte e una stufa aggiuntiva al riscaldamento da parete. Certo, almeno una presa elettrica accanto ai letti e nel bagnetto sarebbe, a mio avviso, molto importante metterla, così come due altri appenditoi nel bagno. La moquette, invece, non l'ho gradita per nulla. Direi che è stato l'unico neo importante di questo B&B, almeno per noi che eravamo letteralmente terrorizzati dalle recensioni. Circa la colazione, essa presenta sia il salato sia qualcosa di dolce. È abbondante e ben servita dal personale che è stato sempre pronto ad aiutarci persino agevolandoci con una apertura precoce delle porte della sala colazione per permetterci di partire presto. Sebbene ci siano in corso dei lavori manutentivi abbastanza rumorosi finalizzati a un ammodernamento del piano terra dove proprio si trova la 42, direi che l'esperienza globale è stata per noi più che positiva.

We have just had a 2 night stay here, the staff were welcoming, the place smelt nice and clean. Our room was decent, it was ideal for us as we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. We didn’t have any issues that were worth raising to the staff. The room itself could’ve been cleaner, for example the shower door seal was yellow, the fan in bathroom didn’t work so the ceiling was starting to grow black mould, the drain in the shower was built up with hair and yellowing. It was a warm couple of days there so we had the windows open, they were also covered in black mould around the seals and quite dirty. We were lucky enough to have a desk fan in our room, however when we first turned it on a ton of dust blew at us and we were covered in dust just from touching it. The skirting boards looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a while, they were dusty and had some form of liquid stuck to them. I think if the rooms had a deep clean more regularly then it would be perfect. I’ll add pictures of the things I have raised. Overall a decent stay, would stay again if we were in the area.

I completed my stay here; it was an average experience. The best part is there's a bus stop just below the hotel, so that's a plus point. Also, nearby there are many fast food corners and eateries, which was good. About the hotel: if you're carrying even a mid-sized travel bag, it's hard to walk upstairs. As I was on the 2nd floor, I'd recommend trying for lower floors. I had some issues with the bathroom as the water drained quite slowly. During summer when I stayed, it was quite warm inside, and opening the window didn't help as the drainage outlet pipe, I suppose, was stinking. Overall, it was a good stay in terms of connectivity with TFL services (buses, tubes). Would recommend for a short and quick trip

I stayed at the King Solomon Hotel in Golders Green for one night, and it’s a stay I’ll never forget. I ended up booking the hotel at around 3am, and honestly, they were a lifesaver. The receptionist who answered my call was so kind, welcoming, and helpful, especially at such a late hour. From the moment I arrived, everything was great. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the hotel had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Every member of staff I came across was friendly and made me feel welcome. I’m really grateful for how smoothly everything went, especially considering how last-minute my booking was. Thank you to everyone at King Solomon Hotel for making what could have been a stressful night such a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Rooms very basic, which wasn't a problem in itself if they had been maintained. We had a blocked shower drain and bits of broken trim hanging off the window sill. Room was like a furnace due to being south facing, large bay window, having no shutters and cheap blinds. This was made ten times worse by the fact that all of our window openings were not working except one small top opener. Told reception we would like to move to a cooler room / one with windows that can be opened and requested an additional fan to be told we don't have any spare rooms or enough fans for everyone, so you are lucky to have one. This is a small desk fan by the way. Sat down in reception as they have air conditioning there to see other people come down with various complaints, and three of them being offered new rooms. One group checked in and said on arrival there was vomit in their room and the smell was awful, so they were also moved. Positives - there is quite a bit of free parking but this was chaotic, and first come first served. The female receptionist earlier in the day was nice but the man who replaced her in the evening was rude and had poor customer service skills. The hotel lobby and bar area is a nice enough space and the location is adequate. Only Vegetarian breakfast offered in the morning but it can be booked for £7.50 a head. After sampling it I would say this is overpriced. Would definitely not stay here again.

Hotel obskurny i słaby. Przed hotelem w 2 dniu wyjazdu zamordowany został człowiek i nie mogliśmy dojść do hotelu. Dopiero po negocjacji z policją udało się przejść naokoło. Nie polecam bardzo niebezpieczna dzielnica z dużą ilością zabójstw.
