The owners and the staff at this hotel were incredible, some of the nicest people we met there. They were so understanding and helpful with any situation really made our time at malia what it was. Often you think of hotel food as not bieng great but at malia mare that isn't true at all, every meal we ate was incredible, all of it cooked with so much flavour it was genuinely so brilliant alot of the time it made us not want to go out for food. Great room/pool, even better food and people. Highly recommend!

Just back from a 1 week stay and what a lovely hotel. Costas, Manos and the family made us feel so welcome, including the lovely dog Bianca. Comfortable room, lovely shower and you can ask reception for a kettle or hairdryer. All areas kept immaculately clean and gardens well maintained. A beautiful pool, plenty of sunbeds available and the food at the pool bar was superb. A little gem in the heart of Malia, will definately return.

We visited this hotel for the first time this year and had a lovely time there. It's a small family run hotel, and we found the staff to be very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It looked to have been recently refurbished and has a nice little balcony to sit out on. No TV, but we never needed one anyway. The outside pool was lovely, and the snack bar was very nice too. The buffet breakfast was basic, but well presented and the staff were more than happy to cook things like omelettes and bacon for you. Air conditioning and safe keys cost extra, though that was shown quite clearly, when we booked, so there is no complaint there. It's just something to be aware of before you book, just to manage expectations. They also offer a late check out if required, for a small extra charge, which let's you stay in the room until 6pm, which we found very handy, with having an evening pick up. The hotel itself is ideally placed for both the amazing old town restaurants, and the lively main street, both of which can be reached within a five minute walk. I would stay here again without hesitation

Familiäre Wohlfühloase in Malia Ein wunderbares, familiengeführtes Hotel mit spürbar herzlicher Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich von Anfang an willkommen. Der Service ist in allen Bereichen top: freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist perfekt – ruhig, aber trotzdem nah an guten Geschäften, Bars und der schönen Altstadt mit vielen tollen Tavernen. Trotz der Nähe zum bekannten Nachtleben liegt das Hotel angenehm ruhig und sicher. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und sauber, mit gemütlichem Pool, Poolbar und eigenem kleinen Parkplatz. Frühstück lecker, wenn auch etwas eintönig bei längerem Aufenthalt. Zimmer einfach, aber sauber und funktional – völlig ausreichend. Insgesamt ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt mit viel Herzlichkeit. Wir danken der Familie für die tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gern wieder! 🇬🇷🌺

Le pire hôtel que nous ayons connu. À éviter absolument ! Seul point positif : la piscine. Le reste ? Bruyant, mal géré, et encore bruyant : tapage dans les couloirs et aux étages toute la nuit. Ménage effectué seulement tous les deux jours. Pour couronner le tout, la climatisation est payante.

Went for 7 days and was absolutely amazing. Family owned who are very kind and helped us find nice places to go as a couple. Hotel rooms well kept with a great balcony. Air conditioning worked well which helped in the heat. The food at the pool bar was brilliant- tasted lovely without costing an arm and a leg. 10/10 would recommend to any type of holiday: family, couples or lads/ girls holiday. Would be coming back as not too far from old town or the beach and strip.
