Nice location for sunrise but not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Easyjet describe this hotel as 5 star and 6 restaurants, which is why we booked.. It feels more like a 2/3 star and does not have the advertised 6 restaurants. It has ONE restaurant available to half board and one that is available to upgrade to at extra cost. Our room was so bad we had to move room 5 star prices for 2-3 star accommodation and service.. Also of note. This was the most upgraded room possible via Easyjet. - Not Five Star - They even charge for Water at your Half board evening meal! - Food lacking, lacklustre, slow and the staff just follow you about. Creepy and weird - Advertised as 6 restaurants. In reality you have one! The pool bar is extra and there is one more a La carte. Also extra and empty so this is a one restaurant and one snack bar hotel but the snack bar is extra - We had to change rooms. First room was disgusting - Second room. No water. No coffee. No ability to even plug in the coffee machine. - They then wanted 2 Euro for coffee pod. We had no tea or coffee making facility in the three awful nights we were there. - TV not usable. Placed on the vanity unit. Wifi does not work with the TV reliably and nor does mirroring. - You have to ask for tables to be made up at breakfast. - No USB or even sockets in the bedroom so unable to have phones near beds. Some might say a good thing. I agreed but give us a choice. This is a Five Star hotel after all. Only decent things are sunrise, Lindos and checking out!

Il punto forte del resort è la colazione che offre un buffet veramente variegato. Al check in gli ospiti sono accolti con un bicchiere di prosecco e un dolcetto greco. Le camere sono molto spaziose, pulite e i letti comodi. Nelle camere offrono una bottiglia di vino, acqua e frutta. Lo spazio piscina potrebbe diventare superlativo con la riattivazione degli idromassaggi che quando ho soggiornato io non funzionavano. Nel complesso è presente una piccola cappellina e un piccolo supermarket.

Dieses Hotel hat mit 5 Sternen absolut nichts zu tun. Vielleicht war es vor 20–30 Jahren einmal ein 5-Sterne-Hotel – heute sind selbst 2 Sterne noch großzügig. Die Zimmer sind dreckig und völlig heruntergekommen: Ameisen im Zimmer, Blutflecken auf den Handtüchern, morsche Möbel und Badezimmer, die aussehen, als wären sie seit Jahrzehnten nicht renoviert worden. Vom angepriesenen Spa-Resort war ebenfalls kaum etwas vorhanden. Der Barbereich war defekt, das Hamam funktionierte nicht und der Spa-Pool war während unseres gesamten 7-tägigen Aufenthalts jeden Tag geschlossen. Das Essen ist eine Katastrophe. Schlechte Frühstücksauswahl, geschmackloser Feta und abgepackte Produkte. Beim À-la-carte-Abendessen: dreckige Gläser, fleckige Tische, Suppen mit Maggi-Geschmack und Hauptgerichte, die wie billige Kühlprodukte aus dem Supermarkt wirken. Auch organisatorisch ist das Hotel eine einzige Katastrophe. Der Tennisplatz konnte vorab für jeweils eine Stunde reserviert werden, wurde aber mehrfach doppelt vergeben, sodass trotz Reservierung andere Gäste zur gleichen Zeit spielen wollten. Das einzig Positive waren zunächst die Golfcarts zum Strand. Bei unserer Abreise warteten wir jedoch über 40 Minuten auf die Abholung. Mehrfach wurde uns telefonisch versichert, dass jemand unterwegs sei, es kam niemand. Dadurch hätten wir fast unseren gebuchten Shuttle zum Flughafen verpasst und mussten schließlich unter massivem Zeitdruck selbst zum Hotel hochlaufen. Auf dem gesamten Weg kam uns kein Golfcart entgegen. Für uns war damit offensichtlich, dass trotz gegenteiliger Aussagen niemand losgeschickt worden war. Völlig unorganisiert, unzuverlässig und nicht einmal eine angemessene Entschuldigung. Dreckige Zimmer, miserables Essen, kaum nutzbarer Spa-Bereich, chaotische Organisation und unterirdischer Service. 5 Sterne sind hier völlig absurd. Nie wieder.

We spent one week at Lindos Village Resort & Spa in Rhodes, booking through a travel agency. Overall, our stay left us with mixed feelings. First of all, although the resort is advertised as adults only, it is separated from the family resort by just a small walkway. Every evening you can hear the entertainment from the neighbouring hotel's amphitheatre and even see it from parts of the resort. The beach is about an 8-minute walk away. The hotel offers a golf cart shuttle, but both the waiting time and WhatsApp communication are very slow. The hotel taxi to Lindos costs €16 one way, and for that price I would expect much faster and more reliable service. Breakfast was excellent, and the first four dinners were great as well. After that, however, the menu in the hotel app no longer matched the actual menu in the restaurant, which was unnecessarily confusing. Twice we were incorrectly charged during dinner. The first time we only noticed after paying, while the second time we caught the mistake beforehand. Although the staff apologised both times, almost overpaying by nearly €50 twice is not a minor mistake. I strongly recommend checking every bill before paying. The jacuzzi did not work during our entire stay. According to previous reviews, guests have been complaining about it for months and nothing has been done. The pool is also only knee-deep throughout its entire length. In addition, the SPA area looks significantly different in both colour and size compared to the photos on the hotel's website, and some of the gym equipment was out of order. If you don't want to wait for the golf cart, you have to walk through family resorts full of children to reach the beach. The beach is shared by all Lindos hotels, with each resort having its own section of sunbeds. Unfortunately, except for the Grand Hotel section, the sunbeds and umbrellas were in poor condition. On one occasion, an umbrella even came loose and flew towards guests, creating a dangerous situation. Despite empty sunbeds in other Lindos sections, staff would not allow us to use them. One positive surprise was that toilet paper can be flushed, thanks to the renovated plumbing. On the other hand, clean towels and bath mats were often unavailable. The staff were never rude, but in my opinion they are overrated in many reviews. Orders were often mixed up, staff forgot about requests, and sometimes brought the next course before we had finished the previous one. I expected a more professional level of service from a five-star resort. I also appreciated being allowed to use a shower after check-out before our evening transfer. Unfortunately, the receptionist informed us immediately that there were no towels available, so we had to dry ourselves with our own clothes. The shower is located in the public restroom area, meaning you have to get changed while other guests are coming and going. What surprised us even more was that, as we were leaving, the same receptionist smiled and asked whether the shower had been refreshing. Overall, the resort felt more like a below-average four-star hotel than a genuine five-star property. The holiday wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything special either. At a discounted price I would recommend it, but at the regular price I would choose a different hotel next time. Overall rating: 6.5/10.

I spent my 30th birthday at Lindos Villge Spa and Resort on my own as a little retreat. I was nervous about my first ever holiday being alone and how I was going to be treated. But I can categorically say, I was treated like a princess from the second I arrived up until I was collected to go home. The food was incredible and fresh and beautiful, everything was sparkling clean and crisp like a palace. Even though the family hotel is next door there was absolutely no noise pollution at all. It sits perfectly on a hill and has the most incredible view of the sea. There is a million steps to go to the pool but I honestly did not care, because the views from everywhere you stood were serene and perfect. And there are slopes alongside to accommodate those who can’t do stairs. The spa treatment was incredible too I felt like a new woman. At no point did I ever feel unsafe as a solo female traveller, everyone was professional and helpful. Hand on heart, the best holiday I’ve ever had and I will be booking for my birthday again next year too. Cannot wait to come back and see more of Lindos. Thank you so much!

Wir waren im Juli hier und möchten festhalten, dass das Hotel den beworbenen 5 Sternen nicht gerecht wird. Die Zimmer sind veraltet und renovierungsbedürftig. Insbesondere ist die Duschgelegenheit in einer Badewanne sowie die Toilettenpapierhalterung nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Das kulinarische Angebot ist akzeptabel, wobei das Frühstück zwar vielfältig ist, sich jedoch täglich wiederholt. Die Hotelanlage selbst ist ansprechend, jedoch ist die abgelegene Lage ohne Zugang zu Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hervorzuheben, was die Notwendigkeit eines Fahrzeugs unterstreicht. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel nicht unseren Erwartungen entsprochen hat.
