This was my first visit to Egypt but it definitely won't be my last and that's because of this excellent hotel and fantastic staff. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and that nothing would be too much trouble. We mentioned that I preferred vegetarian food on our booking and as we were checking in one of the chefs was there and asked me about what I do and don't eat, and I didnt need to worry, this was by far the best buffet I've ever been to in an all inclusive hotel. Plenty of choice and different food every evening, and you could make proper meals which is often not the case at a buffet, you just end up with a mixture of bits on your plate. We were invited to the romantic meal one evening in the poolside restaurant and this was also great. The daytime staff looked so smart, all dressed up in their formal waiter uniforms. They made the evening very special. Our room was right next to the poolside which, for us, was fantastic. It was quiet and so convenient. We wanted a lazy, relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. They also made Valentines day a special occasion. We don't really bother usually, but they had special meals both at lunchtime and dinner, and decorated the rooms, including a heart shaped cake waiting for us after our day at the pool. So thoughtful and sweet ❤️ There are so many fabulous things about this hotel, but, like many other reviews mention, the staff are the shining light. I've never stayed in a hotel where every member of staff is so friendly, polite, helpful and happy. A real credit to the hotel. I can't wait to visit again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Steigenberger Makadi Bay und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, das Essen war abwechslungsreich und lecker, und das gesamte Personal war jederzeit freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an Ahmed aus dem Eagle Restaurant, der mit seiner herzlichen Art, seinem hervorragenden Service und seiner Aufmerksamkeit unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Ebenfalls möchten wir Ahmed von der Rezeption hervorheben. Er war immer freundlich, professionell und hat sich bei jeder Frage sofort gekümmert. Dank der tollen Mitarbeiter und der entspannten Atmosphäre hatten wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

I had an amazing stay at Steigenberger Makadi. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided outstanding service throughout my stay especially Yahia , Abd elwahed , and mr Mohamed Taha . The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The food was delicious with a great variety of choices, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The beach and facilities were excellent, making the whole experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent holiday - we felt pampered from start to finish We spent a week at the Steigenberger Makadi and the experience was excellent in every way. The hotel is very well maintained, the cleanliness is impeccable and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for couples. The staff deserve all the praise. All the employees were friendly, professional and always eager to help, making us feel welcome every day. The service was of a very high standard, and the attention to detail is noticeable everywhere. The food was varied and tasty, with options for all preferences. The restaurants and bars offered quality products and excellent service. The pool, relaxation areas and hotel facilities are very well organized and maintained. We particularly liked the calm and elegant atmosphere of the resort. In conclusion, it was one of our most successful holidays in Egypt. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service and a carefree holiday. We would definitely come back! Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful week! 😊

Nachtrag jetzt nach 3 Wochen (wir sind noch eine weitere Woche da). Alles läuft wie ein gut geschmiertes Schweizer Uhrwerk. Das Personal ist wirklich gut ausgebildet. Sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Den Kellnern macht ihre Arbeit offensichtlich Spaß. Auch an Tagen mit voller Belegung gab es immer freie Liegen, immer saubere freie Tische und nie hat am Buffet irgendetwas gefehlt. Shuttle zum Strand geht jede Stunde. Internet ist manchmal recht langsam, funktioniert aber mit einer Anmeldung (kostenlos) am Strand und auch an anderen Hotels in Makadi. Die Ausschilderung am Strand könnte besser sein (Rückfahrpunkt und Strandgaststätte). Alles in allem, 100% Weiterempfehung. Und auch nach 4 Wochen klare Weiterempfehlung. Wir haben einen sehr schönen und entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Vielen Dank an das komplette Team.

Nádherný hotel, báječný a velmi pozorný personál, skvělé služby, nejlepší kuchyň a kuchaři včetně obsluhy. Vynikající drinky a také pestrý vkusný večerní kulturní program. Tento hotel jsme si zamilovali a určitě zase velmi rádi přijedeme. Děkujeme celému teamu hotelu za jednu z nejkrásnějších dovolených v Egyptě. Všechny zdraví Jana a Jan.
