Fantastic hotel, what stands out other than the quality of food, the spotlessness of the hotel is the staff. Everyone of them from the bar staff to the waiters to the cleaners, all have a smile on their faces and are welcoming. We're used to staff at hotels working hard but these guys do it thanklessly and happily, it only adds to the charm of this hotel.

Byliśmy z niespełna 4 letnią córką na 7 dni w Hotelu. Pobyt uważamy za bardzo udany. 😍👍Razem sporo podróżujemy i z pewnością miejsce zapisze sie na naszej mapie bardzo wysoko📍 Generalnie: ✅bardzo czysto, ✅jedzenie świeże i różnorodne, ✅obsługa przecudowna, ✅dobrze wyposażony fitness, ✅hotel pięknie położony 5 min spacerkiem do plaży i pięknej rozciągniętej promenady. Drobne kwestie które oczywiście są bez problemu do "przeżycia": ❗często długo czeka się na windę (są 2 widny, my byliśmy na 5p. z małym dzieckiem więc schody odpadały - za to mieliśmy piękny widok na morze😉, ❗plac zabaw hotelowy mógłby być lepiej zorganizowany i lepszej jakości - ale wieczorne show i baseny rekompensowały to😉 Osobiście wróciłbym i do tego hotelu i w miejsce na Cyprze, który zachwycił🩷🩵

Jak na standard 3 gwiazdek naprawdę miło się zaskoczyłem. Obsługa pomocna, życzliwa i uśmiechnięta. Położenie jak dla mnie bardzo dobre, blisko do morza, blisko przystanki autobusowe oraz blisko centrum Protaras. Jedzenie bardzo dobre i na pewno każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Jedyne do czego mogę się przyczepić to pokój w którym przydałoby się trochę zmian. Ja rozumiem że to chyba głównie 2 osobowe (nie wiem) z dostawką na 4 ale jak już tak jest to przydałoby się więcej uchwytów na ręczniki a nie tylko dwa i to czego najbardziej brakowało to półki w szafie, nie wiem czy w każdym pokoju tak jest ale u nas była tylko szafa z wieszakami i koniec 🙂 Ogólnie polecam bo naprawdę jest fajnie. I pytanie dlaczego brak opasek ?

- Evening show means the pool bar is a night club till midnight. Music plays so loud it's totally imbossible to sleep even with earplugs on. If you want to drink and party all week, no problem. If you want to sleep and rest, go somewhere else. - No sound proofing on doors/walls. You will hear every step (also the drunk shenanigans at 3am) from the hallway. You can also hear your neigbours talk. - No pool towels. You can either buy yourself one for 10€ from the reception (no right to return it after stay) or bring your own. Would have been nice to know beforehand. - Air quality at the gym is horrible. The whole basement floor smells like mould. + Staff is friendly and they will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. + Food is ok for a three star hotel. + Nice area. A little further away from Protaras center but still pretty close to some nice beaches. Overall, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. We can't wait to go back home to sleep and rest - although it should've been the other way around. Edit. Music really comes from this hotels pool area, even though they try to claim otherwise on their reply to this review. Another reason to avoid this place. Dishonesty.

We have just returned from 10 nights / 11 days here and it was one of the best hotels we have been to, only rated a 3 star but could be a 4. We arrived extremely late after a delayed flight at 12:30am and the reception were ready to get us into the room with snacks to have as we missed tea and personalised water bottles and for the kids which I thought were great for filling up during the days at the poolside. It was exceptionally clean, the room, pool area, reception area, hallways. All the staff work really hard to ensure everyone is happy. They are all fantastic with the children and make an effort to ensure your having a good holiday. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned daily and the maids are lovely. Food is good, drinks are great, the only thing I didn’t like was no snack bar bits during the day time, there was a fridge you could grab a salad or sandwhich from but the kids didn’t want that, however lunch was on 1-3 which is nice and a bbq from 4pm every day. No food around the poolside which keep it clean and tidy. Floaties are allowed in all pools and I like the fact there wasn’t all the extras you seem to spend on other holidays such as ice lolly’s round the bar and arcades like we’ve been to before everything is just included. There is a shaded park area for the kids which was welcomed in 40 degrees heat for half hour to escape the sun. The staff even come and take drinks orders poolside throughout the day. They offer water sports during the day which were fun to join. It’s around a 20 minute walk into Protaras main strip, 10 mins to nearest beach. However it was over 40 degrees and too hot to do the walks while the sun was out. Can reccomend the sunset cruise swimming with turtles and swimming in blue lagoon and the water park in Aiya Napa. We found it cheaper to rent a car for 55 euros than get taxis to the days out plus it meant we got to explore the Aiya Napa too and visit beaches over there at night when it was a little cooler.

Outstanding family hotel – a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Papouis Hotel exceeded every expectation we had. The first thing that impressed us was the staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely friendly, welcoming and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was immaculate, the public areas were always well maintained, and the swimming pools were crystal clear every day. The children's water slides were fantastic and became the highlight of the holiday for our kids. We chose the All Inclusive package and it was absolutely worth it. The variety of food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options every day. The afternoon BBQ was outstanding, and the fish dishes were among the best we have ever had at an All Inclusive resort. One thing that really impressed us was the management. After speaking with the owner, we decided to extend our stay, and he offered us a very fair price. It's rare nowadays to find a hotel that genuinely values its guests, and that gesture meant a lot to us. The hotel also organised activities throughout the day, including water aerobics, water volleyball and entertainment for guests, creating a fun and lively atmosphere for families. A lovely touch at check-out was that our children were each given personalised water bottles with their names on them. It was a small gesture, but one they will remember for a long time. Although officially rated as a 3-star hotel, in terms of cleanliness, service, facilities and overall experience, it deserves to be considered closer to a 4-star hotel. It offers outstanding value for money and is one of the best family hotels we have stayed in. A few suggestions for improvement: Some dishes, such as the pasta, could be cooked a little less. Adding a second lift would reduce waiting times during busy hours. Fresh items like waffles and pizza were very popular, so increasing production would reduce queues. A wider selection of food for children would be appreciated. Some desserts could be served colder. The drinks included in the All Inclusive package could be improved. Despite these minor points, our overall experience was exceptional. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity, and we highly recommend Papouis Hotel to any family looking for a fantastic holiday with excellent value for money.
