A big disappointment.... Giving this two stars purely on the basis of the staff and the views. The staff are amazing from the kids entertainers, waiters and lifeguards. The hotel is on a steep hill which can be difficult if you have mobility issues / stroller etc but with that it has amazing picturesque views. That's unfortunately where the positives end. The main issue with this hotel is the food. The food is absolutely vile. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for such a poor selection of lukewarm slop. Every single day the same foods of cold cut pastas and stewed pork dishes would be served. The quality was extremely poor, and food was often stale and obviously sitting out for long periods. The main restaurant had a lot of flies which poses hygiene issues and the food was never piping hot. The snack bar felt unhygienic, again a lot of flies with food left uncovered for long periods. Some people at this bar were also were served chicken that was still raw and pink inside. Both my husband and my toddler got quite poorly and several days were spoilt with bad sickness and diarrhoea. I stayed at this hotel whilst being pregnant and due to the hygiene and general food safety concerns we ended up having to eat out in Elounda a lot which ended up adding hundreds in cost to our holiday. Aside from the food, the general cleanliness needs to be improved. Pool areas were not cleaned regularly and sunbeds were often sticky and stained. The kids pool and splash park also really requires repair and maintenance. The pathway to the "beach" is not kept with broken barbed wire fences and generally not safe. The beach area wasn't kept very well, and looked really run down and dirty and the bar wasn't open either. Overall we were hugely let down and disappointed and glad to return home. We picked tui blue for peace of mind, but I would strongly advise people to sadly avoid this hotel. I've also seen many other reviews recently that say the same but have been mysteriously removed...

Just returned from a 10 day stay and glad to be home... Pool areas good if you've got kids, great views and nice spacious rooms. However food completely let's the hotel down and ruined the holiday. Cheap cuts of belly pork meat at every meal, the food never felt fresh and was always cold. Minimal variation with a lot of leftovers served the next day. Buffets in all restaurants didn't feel very clean, with flies on the food and lots of ants both inside and out. Certainly not what you'd expect from a 4* hotel and would not return.

Wir haben hier 4 Tage als Abschluss unseres Urlaubes mit verschiedenen Unterkünften verbracht. Wir haben dabei festgestellt, das "all inklusive" Konzept nichts für uns ist. Wir haben auf Kreta immer wieder gut bis sehr gut gegessen. Das Essen ist auch unser Haupt - Kritikpunkt an diesem Hotel. Es war nicht schlecht, aber der Schwerpunkt liegt sicher eher auf Masse, statt auf Qualität. Dies ist aber auch verständlich, da ja sehr viel Personal (das ohne Zweifel sehr freundlich war) bezahlt werden muss, was dann für besonderes Essen fehlt. Ansonsten aber war es sehr sauber, die Betten waren bequem, die Pools schön. Die Zielgruppe in diesem Hotel sind in erster Linie Familien mit kleinen Kindern (das Animationsprogramm haben wir nicht genutzt), die sich um nichts kümmern wollen und viel Zeit am Pool verbringen möchten. Schön ist die kleine Badestelle, die man zu Fuss in 3 Minuten erreicht (Schnorcheln möglich) Der kleine Ort Elounda (mit dem Auto 10 Minuten) bietet nicht sehr Viel und hat sicher auch nicht den Charme eines traditionellen Fischer-Örtchens, wie oft beworben. Agios Nicolaos, etwas grösser, ist auch in erster Linie touristisch, wir haben dort aber eine schöne Schiffs Tour gemacht. Die beiden a La carte - Restaurants waren für uns nicht per App buchbar, ein Teil des Personals hat sich aber dennoch bemüht und dort war das Essen ein wenig besser. Übrigens hatten wir Glück mit einem Zimmer mit Meerblick. Wer also viel Sonne und rundum- Versorgung in einem guten Standard sucht, sollte hier buchen. Wir bevorzugen doch eher kleinere, privatere und individuellere Unterkünfte.

Stacey & her team at Tui blue elounda breeze gave us an amazing experience here they were enthusiastic & gave us lots of info. The place had amazing views, lots to do entertainment was a variety especially for kids, we were well informed on what trips were available and they were great and travel there and back was well organised for us no stress. Large selection of lovely food & drink. Surrounding towns great for shopping & eating/drinking. Rooms were cleaned regularly. I had a massage with the lovely lady in the spa it was wonderful. We would definitely come back

The hotel is well presented. pool areas are nice but sun loungers are a bit uncomfortable and pool areas are not hosed down/cleaned in the 2 weeks we were there. Food was a bit of a let down not the same standard and variety as previous tui blues visited. Hotel staff not that approachable some say hello some dont. night porter was rude when requesting extra bed sheets during the night when my child was ill in the night. Tui staff on the other hand are amazing and could not do enough for us. they make the holiday. would i return- maybe. however i dont normally go back to previous hotels visited.

The hotel is OK. Having recently been taken over by TUI they have a lot that they need to change and sync up on. The location is lovely and the hotel clean and nice, however it is not family friendly as advertised. Older children yes, toddlers and babies, no! The food is nice however it is cold and made us ill due to their food safety and hygiene. The main thing this hotel has going for it is the people. I can not shout out the staff members enough. The entertainment team and kids club staff, Alex and Amy to name two huge personalities who made our holiday better. But there is nobody better than Nik and Mania, two of your lifeguards. My son came away calling them his best friends. Never have I met such incredibly friendly and personable people. They deserve a huge bonus for what they do on a daily basis.
