We had an amazing stay at Minos Palace Resort for our 10-year anniversary. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly run. Even when it is at capacity, it never feels crowded, and the whole experience still feels personal and truly 5-star. What really makes the hotel special is the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. From the personal greetings to the thoughtful consideration shown to my pregnant wife, everything felt genuine and carefully done. Even small details, like the online hotel portal automatically appearing in German for us, showed how much thought the hotel puts into the guest experience. The food was also really excellent. Breakfast and dinner at Mom restaurant were both very high quality, and we genuinely enjoyed the food throughout the stay. A special thank you to Mr. Patsakis and his whole team, and also to Sofia at check-in, Leonidas at the seafood restaurant, Popi, Ritsa and Sofia at Mom restaurant, and Sofia from housekeeping. Everyone was kind, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The gardening/landscaping team deserves a special mention too - the hotel grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained despite the sheer size of it. We really loved our stay and would happily come back. A beautiful hotel with excellent food and an exceptional team.

exklusives hotel etwas ausserhalb von agios nikolaos. sehr schöne anlage mit tollen ausblick auf agios. die klientel ist „eher gehoben“. preis-leistung passt für mich nicht ganz. wir waren ende oktober, anfangs november 2025 dort. die kurtaxe war sehr hoch (siehe auch bild) - in rethymno haben wir €2.- pro tag bezahlt! der empfang war sehr freundlich. speziell angestellte personen nehmen einen in empfang und erklären alles. die damen an der reception hingegen, waren eher unfreundlich-herablassend.

Una estancia maravillosa en Minos Palace. El hotel es espectacular, con unas vistas increíbles al mar y un entorno que transmite tranquilidad desde que llegas. Las instalaciones están cuidadas al detalle, las habitaciones son cómodas y elegantes y todo el complejo mantiene un nivel excelente. Destacaría especialmente la amabilidad y profesionalidad del personal, siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar. El desayuno, la piscina, la playa privada y la gastronomía completan una experiencia de diez. Un hotel perfecto para desconectar y disfrutar de Creta. Sin duda, volveríamos y lo recomendamos totalmente.

If I could give Minos Palace 7 stars out of 5, I would. This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The architecture is outstanding, and whoever designed this place has exceptional taste. Everywhere you walk, you discover another peaceful corner surrounded by nature. There are so many beautiful spots to relax that you could stay here for a long time without ever getting bored. The views are breathtaking, it looks like your are on an island, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, the food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. The wellness and health center is fantastic. The spa team is professional, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The yoga teacher offers wonderful classes, and the sports instructor,Giannis, is highly professional. If I had one suggestion, it would be about the gym. The equipment is excellent, but in such an exceptional location, a large window overlooking the sea or nature would make the experience even more special and perfectly aligned with the spirit of the hotel. Overall, an unforgettable stay. This is a place where you can truly disconnect, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. I would return without hesitation and highly recommend Minos Palace to anyone looking for beauty, tranquility, wellness, and exceptional hospitality.

Wir konnten eine Woche im Minos Palace Resort verbringen. Zur Lage: Das Resort befindet sich in einmaliger Lage auf einer Halbinsel. Hierzu zählt ein riesiger Infinity Pool, sowie eine eigene private Strandbucht. Durch die Lage auf der Halbinsel hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das umliegende Meer. Zum Hotel: Das Hotel an sich ist super designorientiert und sehr neu eingerichtet. Bei der Ankunft lädt die großzügige Hotellobby bereits zu einem entspannten Eintreffen ein. Von dort gelangt man zur riesigen Außenanlage, die sich vor Allem auf den großen Poolbereich mit ausreichend Liegen erstreckt, sowie auf eine hoteleigene Strandbucht. Zwischen drin finden sich immer wieder kleine, mehr oder weniger versteckte Liegeplätze, welche direkt in die Küste gebaut wurden und so etwas Privatsphäre verschaffen. Alles ist sehr sauber und wirkt aufgeräumt, designtechnisch sehr durchdacht und vor Allem bei Sonnenuntergang wunderschön beleuchtet. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls großzügig gestaltet und alles, von der Klimaanlage bis hin zum Warmwasser funktionierte problemlos. Einziger Haken in Zimmer: Die Betten verfügen lediglich über eine gemeinsame Decke, hier wären zwei separate Decken wünschenswert gewesen. Ansonsten war der Service hervorragend, alle sind extrem freundlich und es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Es gibt leider einen Stern Abzug, da vor Allem die Hauptspeisen bei dem abendlichen Buffet, welches in der Halbpension inkludiert ist, nicht zu überzeugen vermochten. Es hat schon geschmeckt, allerdings erwartet man einfach bei dem Preis und vor Allem der Kategorie eine deutlich gehobenere Küche. Es gibt zwar noch ein schönes A l Carte Restaurant mit Blick auf das Meer, das ist allerdings eher nur für Meeresfrüchteliebhaber und kostete extra. Wichtig ist auch zu sagen, dass dieses Hotel eher für Urlauber gedacht ist, die die Hotelanlage auch nicht verlassen wollen. In näherer Umgebung gibt es nichts und zB ein Strandspaziergang ist schon aufgrund der Lage auf der Halbinsel nicht möglich. Außerdem war es dann doch sehr schade, dass man bei diesem Preisniveau auch nur eine Flasche kostenloses Wasser für zwei Personen am Tag bekommt. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht, lediglich beim Frühstück waren auch die Getränke inkludiert und Mittagessen war ja ohnehin nicht dabei, sodass wir zusätzlich zu zweit bei 6 Nächten auf noch zusätzliche Kosten von ca. 1.000,00 EUR gekommen sind, obwohl wir nichts außergewöhnliches dazu gebucht haben, außer an einem Abend das exkludierte a la Carte Restaurant. Wenn man jedoch wirklich einfach eine Hotelanlage sucht zum völligen Abschalten und man gerne bereits ist etwas mehr zu zahlen, kann ich jedem dieses Hotel für maximal 6-7 Nächte wärmstens empfehlen!

no faults! Arrived here straight after out wedding and wanted a re-charge and chill, and it was exactly that. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Amazing facilities, no need to leave the hotel in all honesty!
