Outstanding resort, beautiful rooms and lots of variety. Resort was close to maximum capacity when we stayed but it wasn't obvious. Three exclusive restaurants included...all five star and wonderful experiences...Varu all included package is well worth it and the resort is only 45 minutes boat ride from Male Intl airport!!

We stayed at Varu for a week and it was nothing short of incredible. From the time you land to when you leave, everything is taken care of. It truly was an escape from the day to day to unwind and make incredible family memories. We couldn't be happier. A special shout-out to the housecleaning staff who kept our room spotless despite two tiny kids, Deepu who took care of us throughout, Hrithik in the kitchen, Chaya, the Kaage team for helping teach us leaf art, Sobah our host and Dulce and the kids club for being so attentive with our children. You all went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Very disappointing experience with this hotel. I booked a reservation through Booking.com, and there was no clear information stating that a deposit payment would be required. After booking, the hotel requested a 25% deposit, which I paid. Later, due to the unstable situation in the Middle East, I had to cancel my reservation. The hotel confirmed that my deposit would be refunded. However, more than TWO MONTHS have passed, and I still have not received my money back. Communication has been extremely poor — only repeated promises, no clear answers, no actual refund, and no transparency regarding timelines. After researching further, I discovered many similar reviews from other guests mentioning delayed or missing refunds. Unfortunately, I now understand this is not an isolated situation. At this point, I strongly question the professionalism and reliability of this hotel’s management and financial practices. I would advise future guests to be very careful with advance payments and deposits.

Balayı çifti olarak temmuz ayında tercih ettik. Düşük sezon olmasına rağmen hava ve deniz çok güzeldi hiç yağmurlu gün olmadı. Havuzsuz su üstü villa tercih ettik. Genel olarak kırmızı bayrak vardı o nedenle odamızdan denize çok fazla girmedik. Havuzsuz su üstü villaların olduğu kısımda biraz akıntı olduğunu düşünüyorum. Yüzmek kolay degil sarı bayrak bile olsa. Ancak havuzsuz su üstü villaların büyük bir avantajı da var hem havuz bara hem de restoranlara oldukça yakın. Bay rouge isimli havuz barda plaj var hemen karşısında da su sporları merkezi var her iki yerde de denize çok rahatlıkla girilebiliyor. Villamizdan 3 dk yürüyerek ulaştık. Çok büyük bir ada değil tamamı 15 dk da yurunebiliyor. Bu nedenle bisiklete ihtiyaç hic duymadık. 4 gece ve üzeri konaklamalarda 2 ala carte yemek hakkınız var biz bunları charcoal(et restoranı) ve nü (akdeniz mutfağı) olarak tercih ettik. Memnun kaldık. Otelin açık büfe hizmeti de gayet güzeldi. Oldukça fazla etkinlik vardı. Yıldız izleme etkinliği, gün batımında balık tutma etkinliği ve şnorkel yapmaya gittik, üç farklı etkinliğe katıldık siz daha fazlasına da katılabilirsiniz. 45 dakikalık masaj da hediyeydi çok başarılıydı. Bizimle ilgilenen Amir çok yardımsever ve iyi bir çocuktu ona da her şey için çok teşekkür ediyoruz. Biz her şeyden çok memnun kaldık. Ayrıca ana adaya 45 dk tekne ile ulaşılabilmesi de büyük avantaj. Çıkış yapacağımız gün akşam 18.00 a kadar otelin imkanlarından yararlanmamıza da olanak sağladılar uçak saatimize göre otelden bizi havalimanina transfer ettiler dolu dolu bir son gün geçirdik.

This place is fantastic! You get a local song on traditional drums on arrival. Went with another couple and had a 2 bedroom pool villa, very pretty. The service was impeccable. They also had a great wine list and servers would remember your previous drink and offer to top you up when needed. Great variety of delicious foods. You certainly wouldn’t go hungry as the bar always has snacks available if you are somehow peckish in between buffets. Mazey who was assigned to our room was very helpful and responded immediately to all our requests. It was my friends birthday and when I mentioned this they decorated her room with balloons, the bed with a happy birthday message in plants and ran her a bath with flowers. Also had a fabulous dinner at Nu restaurant. The table was decorated with flowers for my friends birthday and she got a cake for dessert as well. The only reason it is getting 4 stars is that I love snorkeling and because it is a man made Island it was better to go on snorkeling excursions. We only had 2 days and the timing didn’t work out to do one. All in all a wonderful experience though.

We stayed as a family of four in 2 beach villas in 1st week june. The location, villas and most importantly the service was outstanding. The package including food and drinks (full boarding), makes it hassle free, with an app listing down itinerary for our stay.. Mamun (Housekeeping), Happy and Vevi (Spa) were very good. Neil at the restaurant was always helpful.. Water activities including Scuba and Snorkelling under the supervision of Naja and Jahan were outstanding…being a finicky vegetarian they took care of the food requirements very patiently and offered a variety of options as well . We enjoyed our stay . Thank you to the team !
