Bali Garden Beach Resort

My family and I were guests at the Bali Garden Beach Resort from February 15th, 2026 to February 26th, 2026. The cleaning was satisfactory. Always thorough and clean. We received more coffee and goodies than usual. Plus, the cleaning staff were always friendly. Three times we politely reminded the staff (reception and waiters) that we required vegan food. They kindly assured us it wouldn't be a problem, but the information was never passed on. We only received excuses, such as the staff having the next day off. Nevertheless, we stated that we considered it reasonable to at least pass on the information. Only when we began to complain explicitly did they finally react. Even then, the process took a long time, and we didn't receive vegan food until the fourth day. The gym is only set up for one person to exercise at a time. Other hotels have at least two or three cardio machines. One treadmill is definitely insufficient. Furthermore, there are no barbells, EZ-bar, weight plates or cable machines for a proper workout.

Nice hotel that has a feeling of a bit of rustic chic - it's showing its age but that kind of contributes to the vibe. We stayed in one of the villas, which was spacious if a little sparsely furnished. Friends stayed in the rooms, which were well proportioned and equipped. The gardens are beautiful and you really feel like you're almost staying in a jungle. Staff were friendly and very responsive to any issues. Food and massages were and good value. Pools are great but main one could be a bit rowdy at times, all the guests (mainly Aussies) were friendly though. The main negative was there is currently a huge breach restoration project going on so we were unable to use the beach and there was a lot of building noise and mess as a result. To access Kuta beach was a 10 minute walk past rubbish and stray dogs. Obviously not the fault of the hotel, but it would have been good to know this in advance and if you are traveling in the next year I would check this first.

The hotel is in a nice traditional Balinese style with lovely gardens and three pools. The staff are great and the restaurant food is excellent. It's right at the town so if you want a central location this is a good choice. The reason for two stars is that the hotel is advertised as beachfront however the beach is being excavated for two years so you don't have beachfront access and instead have large machinery working sometimes past midnight making a noise. I specifically chose this hotel as they advertise the beach so this is false advertising. When I complained they basically said too bad. Buyer beware

This was our second trip to Bali, and for the second time we spent our entire vacation at this hotel. That alone says a lot about how satisfied we are. If we visit Bali again, we will definitely stay at this wonderful hotel once more. The rooms and the entire property were clean and well maintained. Although we didn't use the swimming pool, it looked clean and inviting. We especially enjoyed the beachfront restaurant. The food was delicious, and the price-to-quality ratio was very good. What impressed us the most was the staff. Every single employee was incredibly friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the day we left, and their excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. The only aspect that could be improved is the breakfast buffet. The selection could be a little more varied. While we understand that local dishes are part of the breakfast, options such as noodles, green beans, and rice may not be what many international guests expect in the morning. A wider selection of traditional breakfast items would make the breakfast even better. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel. We are already looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Bali.

Stayed our last 3 nights of a 2 week holiday. Didn't get the best room the first night, was a adjoining room. No hot water after 9pm which we weren't told about, the water was smelly as well. We had gone out for dinner & got back at 9:30. Could hear people in the next room coughing & talking through the wall. Stomping from above us. They were really helpful. Apologized for not telling us about the maintenance on the water after 9, shuffled rooms around & got us a better room for our 2nd night. Was a lot better, much quieter than the 1st room. Still hear above us but not as bad. There was however a smell we couldn't figure out. Rooms were nice & clean though. Beds were great. Place is in an awesome location, staff are helpful & friendly.

We have been coming to the Bali Gardens Beach resort for 15 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed every single trip. What makes this resort special is the beautiful staff, from upper management to the the guys who look after the garden's are first class. Ideally located on the beach with panoramic sea front views where you can relax with a beer or a cocktail whilst watching the world go by, The gardens are amazing, lush and full of tropical colour. There are three beautiful well maintained pool areas catering for all your needs. The day always starts well with breakfast, the food is really nice with a great range of choice to suit everyone's pallet, looking over the well maintained tropical garden, tranquility at it's best, but the staff are the real heroes here, they are so beautiful and really can't do enough to make sure your day starts off perfect. Lunch and dinner is captured looking over the ocean with iconic view's of surf and sea and an ideal spot for people watching, good quality food reasonably priced, served with the most beautiful kind staff you will ever encounter. Dinner is also served up with the most amazing sunsets for free, make sure you book your table in advance as you do not want to miss out on this experience. And then there's the cocktail bar again with the most beautiful staff happy to make whatever takes your fancy, from super cold beer to frozen cocktails of your choice, always served with smile and a warm heart.
