We visited again after 12 years, as a large group of 8 people. We stayed in a large three-bedroom island villa and a one-bedroom overwater villa. The villas are a bit tired and in need of renovation. It was a wonderful stay with excellent service. You can really feel the professional work of the general manager, Sasha. Many thanks to our butler Azmeen for his care and outstanding service. The kids were absolutely thrilled — both with the beach and the sports facilities (climbing wall, kickboxing, diving). Special thanks for organizing private tours and activities, as well as for the magnificent celebration of Orthodox Christmas! The fireworks were even better than the New Year’s fireworks on Sentosa in Singapore :) Overall, it’s a very good resort with solid service, a nice reef and beach. The food is not as Michelin-level as at Soneva, or Velaa, but everything was tasty.

It truly is a little piece of paradise on Earth. The people are amazing so kind, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. My boyfriend and I experienced some of the most beautiful moments of our lives here. The food was excellent, with plenty of wonderful restaurants to choose from. And if you visit, you absolutely have to dine at the underwater restaurant it’s an unforgettable experience. It honestly feels like you’re somewhere beyond Earth 🥹🙏🏽🙌🏽🩵 P.s Mrs. Hanney is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. She always welcomes you with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re well taken care of.💖

Our stay at the Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas – Sunset Villa was absolutely flawless in every possible way. The villa itself is the definition of true luxury: spacious, extremely comfortable, beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up and falling asleep to the endless blue and enjoying the spectacular sunsets was simply unforgettable. The privacy, the calm atmosphere, and the perfect balance between modern elegance and island charm made the experience exceptional. The food was outstanding throughout our stay — refined flavors, top-quality ingredients, and impeccable presentation. Every meal felt special and thoughtfully prepared. A very special thanks goes to Jambe, our villa host, who truly made our stay extraordinary. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were beyond expectations. He anticipated every need, handled everything effortlessly, and always with a genuine smile. At the same time, it must be said that every single member of the staff delivered 110% — friendly, discreet, attentive, and highly professional. In summary: perfect service, exquisite cuisine, a stunning ocean setting, and a supremely comfortable luxury villa. My husband planned a trip to the Maldives to celebrate his 50th birthday. Having visited the Maldives regularly over the past 15 years, we have stayed at some truly incredible resorts. However, we know that rising ocean temperatures in recent years have massively damaged and bleached the corals across the archipelago. Because of this, my husband was specifically searching for a resort with a vibrant house reef and abundant marine life for this milestone trip. He engaged the luxury travel agency Black Tomato to assist with the search, and they highly recommended Anantara. Trusting their recommendation, we booked an all-inclusive package covering both food and activities. During our stay, we resided in an overwater bungalow. Unfortunately, there was absolutely nothing alive underneath it—all the coral was destroyed, and there was virtually no marine life whatsoever, save for the odd fish or two. While the resort's house reef itself was decent, we were disappointed to find that when we booked a private diving trip, they simply took us right back to that exact same reef. Essentially, you are exploring the same underwater terrain whether you are snorkeling from shore or paying for a private dive. The service, unfortunately, fell incredibly short of luxury standards, largely due to our guest host. He was entirely passive, uncommunicative, and the absolute worst host we have ever encountered across all our trips. My husband had booked a few special activities for his actual birthday, but they were canceled, and our host failed to provide any viable alternatives. If this is your very first trip to the Maldives, Anantara might be perfectly fine. However, for seasoned Maldives travelers or anyone expecting seamless luxury service and a rich underwater experience, the price-performance ratio here is incredibly low. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I can’t even begin to express how incredible Anantara Kihavah is, I’ve been to many resorts before but this one is sitting at the top from now on the bar is set very high. We got the over water villa for our honeymoon and got upgraded to the biggest villa over water that they have which was already an amazing start. I want to begin with a special mention and thanks to Zidhan, our villa host who made the experience even more memorable. His attention to detail, professionalism, warmth and service were outstanding, he handled everything with ease and efficiency, was faster than even our thoughts in regards to our needs and made sure everything was to our liking. Always available for every single thing we needed big or small and most importantly made us feel special. Futhermore, the whole staff in this island is EXCEPTIONAL when we left we even felt emotional when leaving; friendly, professional and attentive. Everyone in the island refers to you by name which makes it very warm and feels like we all know each other. The warmth, the calm environment, the perfect balance between luxe, modern and island life made the stay unforgettable. The food is amazing in each of the restaurants they have, we had the chance to eat in all of them and I every meal felt meticulously prepared. And anything you don’t see in the menu they still cater to make it happen. And lastly the island itself and all the activities offered are just a dream! The reef is unique , the service is outstanding and the villas are unreal! Thank you Anantara team for one of the best holidays we’ve ever had and for making our honeymoon one of a kind!! From the bottom of our hearts , we can’t wait to visit again!

Naprosto uzasny resort pro deti i dospele. Obrovsky vyber aktivit pro deti i dospele. Krasne podminky na snorchlovani...na nedaleke ostrovy vylety nejen za zelvami. Vyber z 6-ti restauraci-asijska, japonska, stredozemni. Zlatý hreb - podmorska restaurace, kde je k videni zivot kolem koraloveho utesu. Moc mily, usmevavy a napomocny personal. Resort nema chybu, uz neni treba hledat jiny raj na zemi.
