Extremely disappointing stay, would not recommend! This was by far one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have ever had. We reserved a king bed room for multiple nights, but upon arrival, the hotel attempted to provide two single beds pushed together and present it as a king bed. Even after raising this issue and changing rooms, the exact same problem occurred again. This is not acceptable and does not match the room type we booked. The first room was located at the end of a long corridor, next to a small, poorly maintained pool. The moment we entered, there was a strong chemical and renovation odor, making the room uninhabitable. We requested a room change and were required to wait a long time in the lobby before anything was arranged. The lobby and public areas were hot, humid, and lacked air conditioning, which made the extended waiting period extremely uncomfortable. Staff mentioned that someone would contact us via WhatsApp, but no communication ever came, even throughout the entire stay. The second room had a very heavy artificial fragrance, seemingly used to mask underlying issues. The smell was overpowering and caused significant nasal irritation and an allergic reaction the following morning. Once again, the bed setup was incorrect, with two single beds pushed together instead of a proper king bed. Although the hotel acknowledged that these issues were their responsibility, they still refused to offer a full refund. What followed was prolonged and exhausting communication involving hotel staff and booking agents, with inconsistent explanations and a lack of professionalism. Additionally, the resort layout feels more like an aging apartment complex rather than a luxury resort. Rooms are spread far from the lobby and require shuttle transport, which adds unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, the service, room quality, facilities, and management fell far below expectations for a hotel of this category. The property is poorly managed and does not deliver the experience it promises. If you care about comfort, health, and a smooth travel experience, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Our first time staying in Nusa Dua and at the Merusaka. I cannot express how much we have loved it here! We stayed in a Deluxe Pool Access room (which is shared with one other room), but we were lucky enough to not have anyone staying in the room next door so we had the pool to ourselves. All of the staff are amazing, kind and extremely helpful. The room was great with a comfortable bed, huge bathroom, Netflix, coffee machine and cold aircon. There are 4 restaurants and a bar onsite - who needs to leave really!? There is stable WIFI throughput the whole resort, BNI atm and money exchange in the lobby. The beachside pool and private beach chairs etc are a great spot to spend the day. I couldn’t recommend Merusaka enough and we will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Merusaka Nusa Dua. The resort is beautifully maintained, with stunning pools, immaculate gardens and a fantastic beachfront that’s perfect for relaxing or swimming. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which really made the experience. Our first breakfast was a little busier than we’d expected due to a large conference being held at the resort. However, the following morning additional dining areas were opened, making for a much more enjoyable breakfast experience. We appreciated how well the staff managed such a large event. We spent most of our time relaxing on the beach under the shade of a tree, enjoying great food and drinks from the beach café while overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect way to finish our first Bali holiday. We’d happily stay here again and would certainly recommend Merusaka to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront resort in Nusa Dua.

A lovely resort, we had a room with a pool, it was very spacious and comfortable. Huge bathroom with an extra large bath. Food was quite good, although I would not recommend the buffet for breakfast. There was so much variety, but way too busy. The grounds are lovely was were pools. Staff always helpful. Great place if you just want to chill & relax. Some distance from many of Balis attractions though. Disappointed to see the rubbish left on the beach, seems many of the tourists have no respect for this country.

Merusaka Nusa Dua is a massive, vibrant property that offers a fantastic Bali resort experience. The property is absolutely sprawling, starting with one of the largest and most magnificent hotel lobbies I have ever seen. The customer service here is excellent—warm and highly professional across the board. Between the pristine private beach, the many expansive swimming pools, and the huge variety of daily activities, you are completely spoiled for choice. Plus, the location is incredibly convenient, sitting within easy walking distance to Bali Collection for shopping and dining. The only real downside is that the property is showing its age; because it is a bit older, the condition of the furniture is not great and could definitely use an update. Overall, despite the tired furnishings, the sheer scale, incredible beachfront, and stellar service make it a wonderful place to stay.

If we could give more than 5 stars we absolutely would! This place is heaven on earth. We purchased the all-inclusive package, and it was better than we expected - all food and most of the drinks (very little was not included there), beach towels, 1 hour massage each, and daily replenishing of the room mini-bar. We ate at all of the restaurants/bistros - all food was delicious and beautifully presented. Every single staff member was so happy and welcoming to everyone - nothing short of exceptional service. Extra special shoutouts go to 3 particular staff members at Ja’Jan By The Sea bistro - Krisna, Bhagas and Martini. Their hospitality and attention to detail, were second to none. We will absolutely be staying here again.
