Bohužel velké zklamání. Měli jsme asi velká očekávání, jak obvykle míváme od hotelů tohoto typu, která se bohužel nenaplnila. Při příjezdu nám bylo sděleno, že pokoj bude připraven v čase checkinu, ale pracují na tom, aby to bylo dříve. To jsme naprosto chápali a zašli si na oběd. Po čase checkinu jsme se vrátili na recepci a dostali informaci, že pokoj je připraven a probíhá poslední moping. Po 20 minutách jsme se dostali na pokoj, kde pobíhali 4 lidé a zběsile montovali televizi na zeď a prováděli poslední úklid. Byli jsme s dětma přesunuti na balkon. Po odchodu personálu jsme zjistili, že nás upgradovali do pokoje, který jsme nechtěli. Výměna byla možná, ale opět bychom museli někde čekat. Asi zase na balkoně. Těšili jsme se, že nám náladu spraví večeře… to se však také nestalo, jídlo bylo chuťově dobré, bohužel malý výběr a to zejména v dezertech. Za stejnou částku bychom určitě našli hotel s daleko lepším servisem. Tak snad příště.

This was a beautiful hotel. We had a relaxing and wonderful holiday. The view from the room was beautiful and beach access was wonderful. The food was delicious and although there were no buffets as it was off peak time there were a lot of options. The kitchen was prepared to make whatever we wanted. Housekeeping was amazing, we felt really taken care of. The staff were friendly and helpful. We really loved the pool and the pool bar area.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The location was perfect - secluded, peaceful, beautiful, surrounded by amazing wildlife, flora and fauna. The premises was very well looked after. The staff was incredible - professional, kind, helpful, polite. Especially Kasturi and definitely Meyuru that we were able to chat to on many occasions. The experience was exactly what we needed as we were drawing near to our Sri Lanka holiday. Would highly highly recommend and also we would certainly consider coming back.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle. The resort is stunning, the service is exceptional, and every aspect of our visit exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Thisari and Kasturi, who made our stay truly memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and that our experience was completely hassle-free. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after throughout our stay. Thank you for making our time at Anantara so special. We highly recommend this beautiful resort and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay and truly didn’t want to leave. A special thank you to Front Office Manager Ms. Gothamy Tennakoon for her excellent leadership and warm hospitality, and to Villa Manager Meuranjana for ensuring everything was handled so smoothly. Our in-room dining experience was spot on — the food was absolutely delicious every time. What stood out the most was the care taken by the restaurant team and chef to prepare meals according to my allergies. That level of attention and understanding meant a lot, and I’m genuinely grateful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with severe food allergies — you’ll feel safe and well taken care of. The villa we stayed in (632) was spotless and beautifully maintained, making our stay even more comfortable. A big thank you as well to our butler, Shiron, who was always pleasant and attentive. We truly loved our time here and can’t wait to come back. Once again thank you Ms. Gothamy Tennakoon for making us feel so special and for looking after us during our short stay.
