Großes Hotel mit „viel Masse ohne Klasse“. Einfach ausgestattete Zimmer, ein Bad ohne Waschlappen, Kosmetiktücher, Kosmetikspiegel, Bodylotion etc. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht. Mit einem Wasserkocher konnte mit löslichem Pulver Kaffee in zwei kleinen Tassen gekocht werde. Untertassen waren nicht vorhanden. Insgesamt alles sehr einfach. Auch wenn es einen Hinweis auf einen Dresscode für das Essen gibt, so wird auf deren Einhaltung nicht geachtet. Der Speiseraum ähnelt einer großen Firmenkantine und dementsprechend ist der Geräuschpegel. Das Angebot der Speisen ist groß, aber die Qualität mäßig. Abends gibt es viel Lärm, auch durch Nachbarhotels. Für uns hat es gar nicht gepasst und wir würden niemals wieder kommen.

The hotel is very nice, excellent location, very good breakfast and friendly staff. But there’s a couple of limits you should be aware of, if you’re travelling with a toddler. The hotel offers kids activities, but only for kids aged 5+, which wasn’t too clear on the website. Other resorts let toddlers join their miniclubs with one parent, whereas here if you have a 3 year old there are just no activities. If you opt for a premium suite, you would have access to the rooftop pool, which is nice and not so crowded, but it’s adults-only. With a toddler, you’ll have to go for the other pools, but there the number of sunbeds is way undersized compared to the hotel guests. The hotel tries to manage that with fair and reasonable rules (if you occupy a sunbed, you can’t walkaway for more than 15 minutes before 10.45, or for more than 60 minutes after that). If you’re running around with a toddler though, that means you often won’t find a sunbed, and if you do you’ll have a hard time to keep it. At 400€ per night for the premium suite I would have expected a simpler experience. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples without kids. If you have toddlers, be ready for some extra effort to access the pools and manage your day, and avoid the premium suites, as the extra price will be quite wasted. Also, when I booked it, the hotel was still appearing as “affiliated by Melia”, and today it’s still reported as such in some outdated websites. But it’s not anymore part of Melia, so you will not get Melia Gold points or benefits here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Una estancia maravillosa, como siempre Una vez más hemos vuelto a este hotel y, como en cada ocasión, nos vamos encantados. Es uno de esos lugares a los que vuelves no solo por las instalaciones, sino sobre todo por las personas que trabajan allí y por el cariño con el que te reciben. Quiero hacer una mención muy especial a los camareros Adrián, José, Alejandro ,Eli, santos ,Capi ,Rocio ,Miguel y Jesús .Todos ellos nos han tratado estupendamente, con una amabilidad, una cercanía y una atención que se agradecen muchísimo. Siempre están pendientes de nosotros, con una sonrisa y haciendo que todo sea mucho más agradable. Y, por supuesto, también queremos agradecer al resto del equipo, porque todos han estado a la altura, como siempre. Es un placer volver y encontrarnos con caras conocidas que ya forman parte de nuestras estancias. Ese trato cercano y familiar es, sin duda, una de las cosas que más valoramos del hotel. Nuestra habitación Premium estaba genial: amplia, cómoda, limpia y muy cuidada. Queremos destacar también el magnífico trabajo de las limpiadoras, que hacen que las habitaciones estén siempre impecables y no se les escape ningún detalle. El equipo de recepción, como siempre, también fantástico. Atentos, amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos en todo momento. En definitiva, hemos vuelto a disfrutar muchísimo de nuestra estancia. Todo ha estado estupendo y nos hemos sentido muy bien atendidos y muy a gusto, como cada vez que venimos. Gracias de corazón a todo el equipo por vuestro trabajo y, especialmente, a Adrián, José, Alejandro por hacernos sentir tan bien. Seguiremos volviendo, porque cuando un sitio te trata así de bien, es difícil querer ir a otro. ❤️

First of all, the hotel’s location is excellent, and the sunrise from our balcony was beautiful. However, the hotel is clearly in need of renovation. Luckily, our room was not exposed to the afternoon sun, as the air conditioning did not cool the room at all. There was also no ventilation in the bathroom, and the shower floor felt flexible and unstable. The hotel is very large, and the restaurant was constantly crowded and chaotic. Unfortunately, some members of staff were not particularly friendly or welcoming. Another concern was safety around the pool. Although there are signs clearly stating that glass containers are not allowed in the pool area, many guests were still drinking beer, juice, and other beverages from glasses near the pool. The hotel should enforce this rule more strictly to prevent accidents.

We stayed with my family last year and it was great! Lovely location, nice service, but unfortunately there is not enough parking spots. Unfortunately my car got fined by the police because I had to leave it in the Taxi parking spot, so please be aware if you come by car.e myself I booked a tour to go to see the Caminito del Rey, I had to leave very early before the breakfast even started. But hotel said that it is fine for me to go and have breakfast before the opening, this was very nice.

Hemos disfrutado de unas excelentes vacaciones. El hotel Ocean House costa del sol nos ha parecido genial ( para volver). Una mención especial para Daniel de la recepción premium por su profesionalidad y amabilidad. Nos trató genial nos dió una habitación fantástica con unas vistas increíbles. Las habitaciones muy bien con todos accesorios y comodidades que necesitas. Las camas super cómodas. La limpieza de la habitación super bien gracias a Ana V. que limpiaba la novena planta.Los desayunos en el playbar excelentes servidos por personas super amables siempre con una sonrisa en especial Ana, Adrián y Jesús muchas gracias por todo. Sin duda volveremos.
